We stayed in a lovely, traditional cottage which had everything we needed to be comfy and warm.
The hosts were wonderful and kind.

I feel inspections of properties you promote should be inspected on a more regular basis. Maybe we would not of had the issues we found.

Very well eqipped cottage in duncannon, clean and spacious with added bonus of a utility room. Great location for visiting south east ireland

The location was a good base for exploring the area.
The directions to the property were confusing.
I think the company should inspect properties to make sure they are in good condition and give clear indication of what is or isn't included.

nice cottage

The cottage had everything you needed and worked well from the tv to cooker and the comfortable beds having the conservatory to the front of the house and facing west you got to sit at the kichen table and watch the sun go down (or look out the kitchen window and see the sea) and it also warmed the whole living area. It is a period property and some things have an age to them but if you're happy with that and are looking for charm and that lived in feel then this hits the spot. And when it comes to location you couldn't get much better, up a little lane with quaint terraced cottages just around the corner from the post office where you can get your fishing bait or a rod and reel and then into the cottage the first on a private lane that if you walk to the top you can see over the harbour and if up early enough the sunrise too
All in all it's a gem of a spot

We received regular updates on the booking and the admin system seemed to work well. We would recommend regular inspections of the properties on offer - the property we stayed in was not of the standard that we were expecting.

Shamrock Cottages are easy to Book and Tracey is Excellent and Helpful.

We loved the area of both County and Clare; Kinvarra, just down the road is especially delightful. Mickey's cottage needs a significant upgrade however but this didn't detract too much from our enjoyment of our holiday. Perhaps Shamrock Cottages should reconsider the 3 star rating of Mickey's cottage though we appreciate that the area it's located in may well bring its rating up. Communication with Shamrock Cottages was very good.

Great to be able to chat to representative on phone before we booked who was able to answer our questions. Suggest that Shamrock cottages advertise ability to recharge an electric car on the website.

Friendly efficient company.

Wonderful location where you can walk on the beach almost outside your front door. Interesting to find it, but the directions were accurate and it had everything we needed for our short break in Connemara.
