I have experienced a loss of a loved one everything from extremely bad weather conditions to electricity outages in Dbn north 48 hrs with no lights and was extremely hot the team of consultants Iris and Harrilal account and claims etc was so supportive highly recommend Jn Visser neshana bharath

Outsurance is not a good insurer. Go start with a broker.
They promise u everything but nothing happens. These days they are advertising left right and centre.
They are losing clients to better insurers.
I won't ever insure with them.

Been with OUTsurance for two years and was in an accident earlier this year. A man drove into me after running a red light while I was exiting a four way intersection in Table View. I honestly could have been killed. OUTsurance failed to collect intersection video footage from the traffic department. After months of following up from myself they wouldn’t pay my access back because their reason to me was that the accident could have been avoided from my side.

Don’t waste your time with this company. It’s not worth the stress or effort.

The best advertising, the worst service delivery.

Had to wait over 40 minutes for the agent to return my call. Had to wait on the road side, in the dark for over an hour for a tow truck. My vehicle was taken to an unauthorized location and stored for 5 nights without Outsurance knowing of its whereabouts (until I had advised them via the tracking unit). The Claims manager was awfully rude and disrespectful. He even fed me with false locations of the vehicle without the knowledge of me tracking the vehicle daily. 5 days have gone by and my vehicle hasn't been assessed due to Outsurance's incompetence. The WORST insurance company to deal with. Premiums go off on time but they waste your time when an incident occurs.

Most horrible insurance company to deal with. Avoid at all costs. Quiick to debit slow to resolve a claim. Will look at every avenue to avoid a payout.
Staff lack basic empathy, and are all about not paying out. Disgusted to an entire new level. Safe to say my entire business assurance portfolio will be moved immediately without a doubt in mind.

Was skeptic because of the low reviews at first, but everything went fine for me. :) No worries

PATHETIC INSURANCE COMPANY!!

Been with Outsurance for years. Never had issues until I put in a claim. Oh my word the excuses they come up with to not settle.

Bought a house 7 years ago and all was fine and they were happy with everything and quick to take on my monthly installments.

Now I have problems with the sand movement on the property which caused my braai wall move away from main structure. My boundry walls also cracked.

Put in claim, assessor came out, engineer came out and said they won't pay due to some bull....t.
Anything to get out settling anything.

had been with Outsurance for over 6 and a half years. CLAIM FREE for all these years as well. If you are working and have Outsurance, BEWARE, the moment you loose your job, Outsurance will increase your premiums as they have done with me. When I inquired why, I was told that unemployed people are a higher risk of meeting an accident than employed people because employed people just drive to work only, unemployed people drive everywhere. So, in summary, when you are unemployed you have money you fill up over R20 a litre petrol with no income what so ever and go joy riding. Employed people, who earn a salary, just drive in congested traffic with thousands of vehicles, to work and back home, so their risk is lower. Apparently employed people go to work and back home and no where else. OMG. Outsurance is full of nonsense. I have moved my insurance to a more reputable company, have lower premiums and get rewards monthly instead of Outsurance's annual out bonus. Wish I had done this earlier. I guess I was blinded by the annual out bonus to see the company was just only interested in premiums rather than good drivers who remain claim free for over 6 years. No one can be certain that they will always be employed. DO U WANT YO TAKE A CHANCE AND STAY WITH OUTSURANCE? DONT GET BLINDED BY THEIR OUT BONUS!!!. They will leave you high and dry when you been them the most.

I've been with Outsurance for close to three years now.

I have a business insurance policy with Outsurance, where I pay over R5000 per month. On June 14th, I was the victim of an armed robbery. I've sent through CCTV footage, the official call log from my security company, my telephone location and billing data, photos of all gear stolen, serial numbers, the make, model, color, and registration number of my vehicle, and everything in between. To date, they have still not paid out my claim. All they have to offer are excuses. They refuse to answer what the delay is, and they continue subtracting my total premium, even though most of my gear was stolen.

The assessor working on my claim is lax in answering my e-mails, and I constantly have to query from my side for updates. E-mails and letters from my attorney are being ignored.

By far the worst service I have ever received. I can honestly say that I do not recommend Outsurance to anyone. More headaches and hassles than anything else, and your gear is not safe when it is insured with them.

I am Super impressed with the service I received from Outsurance during my claims process.
Fast, efficient and friendly is only a few words that spring to mind.

It is refreshing too see a company keeping to its word with a smile at this day and age in South Africa!

Outsurance Outbonus - a complete scam. I received a letter at the end of three years insurance congratulating me on my Outbonus of >17,000 Rand (1000 USD). Outsurance never paid it despite three follow up calls where the phone agent kept saying they would ask management and 'come back to me'. Avoid like the plague. - Such a scam.

I am extremely irritated by your service, why are you debitting 446 on my account while I'm canceling your insurance, I was never told that I have to pay that 446 this affects my application. I demand a letter that I will submit to the banks. This affects our credit scores. Fix it now

I am so disappointed at out surance it is not easy for third-party claim, their clients admitted to be on wrong side yet they seek excuses not to pay me. On the statement they say their client wanted to turn n collided into my car and now they blame me as they think I should have avoided a 83 years old driver to not collide on my car. They wrote off my car n they want to pay me 16k bad lies they said they will cover towing fees boom nothing. Even their client is surprised for twisting things on sharing the blame as for Sinethemba Ngqiza at legal department she not reliable.

Quick to take off your monthly premium but when it comes time to claim they will seek any loophole to get away from it, rather look elsewhere

Highly disappointed with Outsurance, where they have failed to keep to their agreement (IN BLACK AND WHITE) as per stipulated on my policy. When I investigated was told some weak excuse of a third party who failed to provide documents three years ago, yet on my policy date of the outbonus payout date was May 2022. Have been a client for more than two decades and this is how they treat a loyal client. Time to shop around and cancel my policy with Outsurance.

Just a thank you to the team at outsurance,our claim has not been finalised as yet but the service received so far is excellent.

Bunch of scammers and thieves. Had a small accident with my sisters car who was insured with Outsurance they said my sister needs to pay the Outbonus back and they will process the claim.

Well guess what the Outbonus was paid back and then we were told "I am not privy to my sisters insurance I need to claim through my insurance" well I did my insurance handled the case swiftly compared to the incompetent tool bags who work at Outsurance.

Outsurance did Jack **** in the case yet they keep ignoring emails regarding paying the Outbonus back to my sister. particularly Kulani Maluleke

I have been with Outsurance for over 12 years. My vehicle has been in storage for 2 years while working overseas. I got no compensation for 2 years. My contract expired overseas, now I'm on the road applying for employment. Outsurance decided to up my insurance 120% thats over R2200.00.
1) Bad communication from Outsurance
2) No, follow up on my query for the increase.
3) The Outsurance agent wrote the incorrect details from telephonic answers.
