It is a pleasant experience in communications with HMCA. The conversations have been informative, clearly answered the questions I had.

HMCA provide exceptional cover in comparison to some of the better known providers. And they provide that exceptional cover at a very reasonable price, again pricing being much better than the better known providers.

Associate was careful to talk thorough the advantages and limits of the plan and to offer alternatives on the payment options without pushing any agenda. Common sense and plain talking, much appreciated.

I have been contemplating moving from BUPA to HCMA for a while. Elaine was very patient with my questions and allowed me plenty of time to consider the pros and cons. We finally managed to include my adult children at a competitive rate with the compromise that there are now reasonable limits to the amount/value of treatment covered compared to BUPA. I hope that if I every need to make claim I will be provided with similar level of personal service.

We were looking for private health insurance when I saw an advert for HMCA. The cover they provide is very good for a good price.

Clear explanations given and my questions answered.

The promise is a bit more than the actual service offered, as with many companies selling servcies or goods when one drills into the offer. So, for example, the health cover overseas, only applies if you are resident in the country when your health need arises. Also, reliance on the Proposing Insured to do a lot of chasing previous PMI records from many years previous.

Delay in getting authorisation ( needed prompting) and a delay in getting payment which will require prompting having received no acknowledgment of email sent to them containing receipted bills
