Just sent a Myrtle Crate to a friend who’s about to get married - it’s traditional to put myrtle into a wedding bouquet. She was blown away by how thoughtful the gift was! Thank you so much!

Buyer beware. I had two Birthday gifts purchased from this company last year. One walnut plant and one tea plant. Neither plant seemed particularly vibrant especially the walnut that resembled a branch but the advice was moving into the Autumnal season that the plants would blossom come spring so both were kept protected in a polytunnel. The condition of the walnut was of particular concern and after raising this with the company the plant was replaced. The tea plant just seemed dormant so it was maintained as advised. After persevering, I again contacted the company l to raise my concerns I was informed that the plant would not be replaced as it was out of the one year guarantee period. Dissapointing to say the least as this company is not cheap and both original plants were below par. I have spent a lot of money over the past year purchasing quality plants and would not recommend this company. For plant quality and customer service you are better off considering Scotts plants direct UK and Roots Plants.

We received a Golden Rose today which was a replacement from a previous purchase. Ellen rectified our problem very efficiently and speedily. The Rose arrived today very well packaged and is an excellent specimen!

First time using this company. Sadly the plant arrived damaged. The pot was crushed as well as the branches of the plant. It also came with slugs which for the price for the plant (£42) I would have expected more care! I cannot gift this now and the money is wasted.

Updated: the company provided a replacement plant after viewing pictures of the damage. Jess and Ellen were helpful and did their best to send the plant out quickly.

I ordered a Tomato Bar for a friend with just a windowsill assuming it was a full gift - I missed that you need a container and to pot the seedlings on. There is no way she has the space for this. I just feel it wasn’t made clear although I did order in a rush. The thing that had made me angry is I paid £8 for postage. I didn’t realise you had to click about on days to see which was cheapest and in fact I could have had free postage. Never had that on anything I have ordered and feel totally conned into doing this. I have bern in touch with customer service and all I can do is return the product (at my cost I assume) for a refund but they won’t refund the postage which was £8 of the £20 I paid. Ridiculous company!

We’ve been sending presents from here to our family for a few years now and they love it. The raspberry trees with the jam were the best, still waiting for lemons to grow 🍋 and the banana one is fab. There’s been a few others and just about to order again for Christmas... deciding between kiwi or strawberries. Definitely recommend!

Our myrtle tree came beautifully packaged. The inscribed slate heart is perfect. Such a fantastic gift. Will definitely be using again.

I've ordered so many gifts from this company and they are always brilliant. We've sent grape vines for 60th birthdays, orange trees as thank you presents, and even used them to send Christmas presents to important clients. We've never had anything other than wonderful feedback from all those we have sent them to. The grape vine is a particularly good present for Dads, who can be hard to buy for!

I've bought six vines from Glut over the past months, and their quality is superb. They provide so much information and support, I really feel you can purchase with absolute confidence in every aspect of the experience. I was delighted to receive a wonderfully personalised parents of the Bride crate, which included a rose, a bottle of champagne, and some chocolates. It was such a thoughtful surprise from my daughter and her new husband. The rose looks healthy, with lovely growth and buds. Now, I just need to decide on the perfect spot to place it in my garden.

A lovely lady called Jess has responded to my enquiries from day one in a very professional and friendly manner. Helped with dispatching plants and following up to make sure I was happy with the results.

First time user of Gluttonous Gardener and sadly very disappointed. We ordered 3 Rose bushes which would be presents to all our parents for our own wedding. The bushes arrived 3 days earlier than requested so sadly will not be in a good state by the time the gift is given. They have sat in the box for too long now and wilted

We phoned customer services and were told we could unpackage all the bushes, put them in water and then re-package them ourselves when we needed to gift. No offer to send out new fresh ones on the date originally requested. Considering it was a mistake on their part, no help offered. We now have to try and keep the plants alive and then try and re-package gifts the day before our wedding which we don't have the time to do

If you want to pay £50 for a £5 rose in a crate this company will suit you!
I bought the ruby wedding rose for my sister and her husband for their anniversary, fortunately I had it delivered to me and not directly to the recipients! It was tiny! Not as advertised at all! I returned it for a refund but I’m still out of pocket for the courier charge! Don’t waste your time or money, find a local garden centre and pay much less and get much more for your money!!

Our grape vine arrived very quickly, packed well and in excellent condition.
Customer service is very good. Enquiries are dealt with promptly and with a friendly, personal approach.

Our beloved daughter thought it would be a fitting commemoration of our 40th/Ruby wedding anniversary to buy us a grape vine from The Gluttonous Gardener. Indeed, it was a delightful idea, and a healthy little vine duly arrived. Now, to be honest, while I'm an enthusiastic advocate of "gluttony"(!), I am not the best gardener, and the vine has struggled under my care. But the team at The Gluttonous Gardener have been superb in the patient support they have constantly given me, and - thanks entirely to them - our vine is still in good health. It's so nice to find customer support that is kindly and helpful. I recommend The Gluttonous Gardener: they're nice people to deal with.

They replied very promptly to my query about olive trees with positive action to take. Polite yet friendly approach to my problem.

We received ared grape vine for Christmas 2022 that didn't grow as expected. I contacted The Gluttonous Gardener and a replacement was sent to me within a few days. This has been planted and looks very healthy. This was excellent customer service!

I received a Grapevine as a gift and when it didn't grow after 3 months I contacted The Glutenous Gardener. Jess was great and quickly arranged for a replacement that arrived the next day. I even had an email asking if the Grapevine was ok . Great customer service I would definitely recommend. Thank you
