Excellent company…had a service…
Excellent company…had a service contract for my boiler for 3 years now. The Service engineer, A.J. , visited yesterday . Did a great job and even sorted out the timer for me. Would highly recommend and their charges are very reasonable too

We had a steve come and replace my nans boiler. He was very kind and polite, even with a yapping dog. His patience and friendly manner help my nan feel at ease.

Prompt service
I am the house manager of a McCarthy & Stone development in Suffolk. Several of my homeowner's had their ventilation system serviced by Gledhill a few weeks ago. They were all very happy with the level of services provided by Amy in the office & Brian the engineer.
One of the homeowner's had a problem with an air vent that connected to the ventilation system, so I popped Amy an email on Monday afternoon & the engineer (Steve) attended Tuesday afternoon.
The homeowner & myself would like to thank Amy & Steve for such prompt service.

Good service
The engineer was on time. He was polite and helpful. Unfortunately he told me I needed a new boiler but that wasn't his fault!

Would definitely recommend Aaron Casey. He came out to service my water cylinder and was absolutely lovely. Really friendly, helpful and just a genuinely nice guy. He explained everything as he went along and made sure everything was working properly before he left. Really happy with the service and it’s always nice to have someone turn up when they say they will and do a great job. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Aaron/ Gledhill again. Thanks so much 😊

A.J came to replace a light fitting yesterday. He was great. Very professional and helpful. Came exactly when he said he would, quickly fixed the problem, tidied up after and also advised on some other small issues. Gledhill really are a great company and with fabulous employees.

Had to have our old electric boiler…
Had to have our old electric boiler replaced in the Flat. First call was to the existing supplier. That boiler had always worked well but it was tired and a few ancillary things were dated too. What an agent of woe they sent to price the job. They did not even send a price … not a good start. Through research I found Gledhill Response. The job assessing/ pricing visiting engineer was the complete opposite- all was doable (pick me up with relief off the floor). A price came. I then played the very necessary e mail tennis with the detail machine that is Zoe Threlfall (another credit to Gledhill) and we were set to go. Price and work agreed in writing. Could my experience stay this good? Yes it could. Gledhill’s installation Engineer Stephen Quirk was allocated the job. A calm, positive, non stop installation machine. Nothing was too much trouble. Ably assisted by Justin the tasks were all completed, leaving the gleaming new boiler. I was impressed. I have hosted lots of maintenance work, I don’t really enjoy it anymore but you would want such service every time, Thank you Team Gledhill…

Steve was amazing
Steve was amazing, was very nice and punctual and removed the old faulty boiler and installed the new one in just a few hours, leaving no mess behind. He took the time to explain how to work the new boiler and was overall a pleasure to deal with.

"First Class" customer support.
We had a Esprit 250 unit fitted by our plumber during our property update in October 2025. Unfortunately the heater element failed in early August, our plumber suggested I contact Gledhill direct, Neil on the service department, could have not been more helpful, he requested City Plumbing raise an email with the serial number and a replacement element would be despatched. This was on the 4th, the element arrived on the 6th and was fitted on the 8th, tested and working fine. "First Class" customer support, much appreciated by ourselves.

Storage heater repair
AJ attended my property and was very respectful, polite and explained everything to me about the repair he made. the repair only took 30 - 40 mins and he was very tidy. Very happy with the work carried out

Plumbing issues
A.J. attended my property to sort out a couple of plumbing issues. He was prompt, professional and cheery-mannered. I was really pleased that he assessed the situation carefully and double checked the work before leaving. I also appreciate that with Gledhill, in general, even though they can’t be exact time specific with the appointment slot, where they can, they’ll accommodate around a preferred time.

Ed Millar, Gledhill Engineer does Boiler Health Check
Ed Millar, Gledhill engineer performed a health check on my 15 year old Gledhill boiler today. I inherited it on buying my flat two months ago. He was very personable, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained that the boiler didn't have corrosion, but recommended the replacement of the immersion elements to prevent corrosion taking hold and asked if i was interested in him turning the water temperature down from 70 degrees. There will be no charge at all, as I'm on the Platinum contract. I am very pleased.
