Excellent well run company, straight forward easy to understand procedure, well pleased with the money that we made for my chosen charity, I mainly dealt with Tracey who was always on hand for any information , actually was great all the way to the sale of the car, many thanks Givacar !!

Efficient process. Worthy objective.

Car was sold as scrap for a small amount of money of which givacar took a third, payment took a long time to process and ultimately the car is back on the road (which is fine) having been resold by the scrap dealer presumably. Ultimately the charity would have done better if I'd just sold it on ebay and given them the money. Other than that the process was smooth

Answered a very urgent problem when DVLA ended tax unilaterally without warning on deceased’s car rendering it an extreme liability parked on the highway. The car was collected just two days later very efficiently and everything went so well. The charity benefited so well too so top marks for friendliness, efficiency and professionalism.

A responsive, problem solving attitude. In a time where we’re quite cynical about whether organisations care at all about individual customers/clients, Giveacar were a joy to deal with. In short, they give a s**t. I would work for them - it’s a great idea delivered really well. That’s what I think…..

I found the process of donating my father's old car straightforward and trouble free. The collection was efficient and friendly. The communication was generally clear and phone communication was friendly and clear.

Easy, quick and effective. All the staff on the phone were helpful and kind. Removal was scheduled for a couple of days later. And was kept up to date on the progress.

Friendly staff, clear helpful guidance through the car collection, auction and donation process, kept informed at all stages. It was easy to arrange the car collection, I waa given the option to comment on the valuation of the car and the auction bids, my chosen charity Calibre Audio benefitted, and Giveacar communications with both me and the charity were great. I got rid of a non-running old car at no cost to me, and Calibre Audio got a donation. Win, win!

Found give a car online when working out best way to dispose of my old faithful car. It was a very efficient organisation. They organised everything and communicated well. I was sad to be scrapping the old car….. by using give a car the car actually did some good for a charity. Highly recommend them!

A simple and quick way of disposing of a rusty car and giving something to charity. All went to plan and took a task off my hands.

Good communication from "Giveacar" and from the actual appointed scrap yard who collected my vehicle.
Good emailed instructions detailing what and when to do it.
And received a phone call from the collector when he was on his way.
My only complaint, the paperwork side.
The person and the appointed scrap yard who collected the vehicle didn't want to fill in the logbook (the section when selling to car dealer/vehicle dismantlers). However, I did advise the DVLA myself, as I would not trust the scrap yard to do it. You do hear stories of cars getting fines and the previous owners being contacted. This area of the experience needs addressing.
Otherwise everything totally satisfactory!

Did what it said on the tin. An email and a brief phone call were all that was needed to set the process in motion. The car was picked up at a convenient time, with the driver giving me an hour's notice. Ten weeks later I had confirmation of the value of my donation (which was more than I had expected). A week later I had a thank you from my charity.
