Very efficient and reliable service
Very efficient from making the decision to donate to collection of the car. It is much less hassle than trying to sell a car of low monetary value and my chosen charity benefited from the donation. I can definitely recommend their service.

Great scheme with great service
This is a great scheme with great service. This is the second time we've used it and collection is very easy to arrange. The pick up went very smoothly (other than a double trailer arriving at a location not entirely suited to a vehicle that size, but the driver was excellent and made it work). That's two of our favourite charities we've been able to support with ease as a result of a need to sustainably dispose of two old cars. Definitely recommended.

What a great idea, thoroughly recommend
The process of donating a vehicle was easy, plenty of information given. The vehicle was collected in a timely manner. I was kept up to date with timings and informed of a slight delay due to a road closure. The person who collected the vehicle was very polite, friendly and courteous. I got an email later with the amount of money raised from the auction of the vehicle.
A great experience and one I would recommend. A great way to raise money for charity

You may get a better price ie. Donation for your car by using eg."We buyany car" & then donating that money to your chosen charity.
It is very convenient that one company deals with everything: from collecting the car onwards & the staff are p.easant to deal with.

Great company to deal with
Having decided to give up driving, due to age and ill health, I thought I would donate the car to a charity. This company dealt with the situation with understanding, kept me informed all through the procedure and I found them to be very trustworthy. The car has been sold in auction and they are still keeping me informed.

This was a rust-free example with MOT and only 50k miles. Worth far more, and I feel it lets down the charities.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Based on the car's history and low mileage we made the decision to send to auction rather than accept the scrap amount of £142. The bids received were very low and on the 3 auction dates the bids were £125, £125 and £150, each of these bids were countered and rejected by the bidder. We can't predict the outcome at auction but appreciate that on this occasion, the outcome wasn't as we would have liked so we will be making an additional payment to your chosen charities to reflect the scrappage amount and removed our admin fee. Very convenient disposal of my husband's old motorbike
From my initial enquiry to the final result was exceptionally convenient
This meant I had my old motorbike taken away free of charge and placed in an auction frm which the sale generated a donation of over two hundred pounds to the charity I chose.

Disappointing service and unacceptable donation amount
Vehicle said to be non-runner when it was not. Battery flat. Could be rectified easily. Inadequate follow-up. Auction price, therefore donation amount, low. It might have been better to sell it to Webuyanycar etc and donate to the charity myself.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As discussed in our email exchange, we acknowledge there was some miscommunication regarding the immobiliser, which led to the vehicle being listed as a non-runner. This was amended as soon as we became aware. On the day, the vehicle’s scrap value was £120. The vehicle was put through auction four times, countering each bid, and we have agreed to waive the fourth auction fee, paying that amount directly to your chosen charity. After deductions, the final donation was more than seven times the scrap value, so we feel that sending to auction achieved the best outcome.

The whole process worked very smoothly. Give-a-car put us in contact with a local company - we agreed a time for collection and all went well. It is good to know that a charity of our choice has been able to benefit.
