Ich habe erfolgreich eine Verkaufsanzeige meines Fahrzeugs eingestellt und bekam daraufhin unten aufgeführte E-Mail. Daraufhin wollte ich meinen Account löschen, was im Portal nicht möglich ist. Ich musste eine E-Mail mit der Aufforderung zur Löschung senden und warte nun auf die Bestätigung.

E-Mail von C&C:
"Thanks for submitting your advert ref XYZ to Car & Classic.

Your advert has been flagged as needing more information, please follow the steps below:
1. Please write the following message on an A4 sheet of paper: "Advert submission XYZ on carandclassic.com"
2. Put the paper on your car, bike or item
3. Take a photograph with the piece of paper in view
4. Reply to this email with the photograph

Thanks for your support to help keep Car & Classic the safest platform to buy & sell classic cars online."

Great trusted auction forum with good products, good protection for buyers and sellers alike.

Ce site est vraiment pratique, il est simple et efficace....

Sadly a website that allows traders to attempt to sell as private sellers.

Check how many sales a seller has had.
For example one guy has 7 listing's in 3 months.
Reported but nothing has been done in two weeks, and that seller is still getting away with it.

The process is clear, easy and straightforward. I did feel that I was in control and I sold the vehicle inside five days.
They do pester you to “highlight” your ad but it’s gentle pressure and easily ignored. Had the vehicle stuck, I might have considered it, but no need

Perfect once again.
Definitely my “go to” for selling a classic.

It was a straightforward procedure.The photographer did a great job followed by the wording for the entry. All in less than a week. C & C’s coverage is excellent so there was a lot of interest.

Very pleased with service and dedicated account manger Alex. Also big points to the photographer that came to take some photos. Naturally hoped to get a little more at auction but in reality the 101 sold for a fair price. While I expected to receive payment 1 day after buyer confirming collection, funds arrived within the hour.

Staff are diligent, and clearly motivated to make a sale without being too pushy. Only a couple of small changes were needed to the listing.

I have sold my highly modified motorcycle last year and now my very special restomod 1st gen Mustang.
I can not fault the free classified adds and coverage simply brilliant. I was asked if I wanted to auction the car and valuation was ridiculous low as does not taken into account all the work that goes into a well built Restomod and when you know the value of your car stick to your guns and be patient.

Was very easy to advertise with car and classic. Had a lot of silly offers in the messaging service which you would expect but the person that turned up was very interested in keeping the car in the good condition that it was in and was very easy to deal with. We came to a deal that we was both happy with and they drove it home the same day.

I purchased three vehicles through Cars & Classic auctions: a Cadillac, a Moto Guzzi, and a BMW M3 Cabrio.

Out of these three purchases, only the Moto Guzzi was as described and in proper condition.

The BMW M3 Cabrio has a non-functioning roof, which was not disclosed anywhere in the auction listing.

The Cadillac is an even bigger issue. It was presented as being in very good, drivable condition, with only minor electrical issues on the windows. In reality, the car is an unfinished project in very poor condition and far from what was described. The photos made the vehicle look excellent, but what arrived does not match that at all and gives the impression that the listing was misleading.

I attempted to resolve this situation in a calm and reasonable manner. However, Cars & Classic redirected me to the vehicle owner instead of taking any responsibility. If I had known or dealt directly with the owner, I would have inspected the vehicle in person before purchase.

The fact is, I paid the money to the auction platform based on the listing and photos they published, and I believe they should stand behind the accuracy of what they present.

This experience has left me feeling misled, disappointed, and without any real support or solution.

I want to warn all potential buyers: do not rely solely on the photos provided in auction listings. Arrange independent inspections and verify everything in detail before committing.

I am sharing this to make sure others do not go through the same situation as I did.
