Top rated site and trials. I came with my stepson who is much lighter, technical and hard wearing than me, but he was more than happy with the blues that my abilities restricted us too.
Our day was cut short due to the wildfires that affected the uplift, and I have to admit that I was a tiny bit put out that these weren’t mentioned to us ahead of the visit, but this was considered in a follow up email from BPW to all who were affected, and I’m definitely not even slightly miffed anymore.
We will be back, many times…

We're sorry that the bike issue took longer to resolve than you would have liked. Whilst swapping a bike can sometimes be the quickest solution, it isn't always possible depending on fleet availability, sizing requirements and the nature of the fault. In many cases, a repair can actually get a rider back on the hill faster than preparing and setting up a replacement bike.
That said, we completely understand that any time spent waiting on a mechanical issue is frustrating when you've come to maximise your riding time.

£18 'Refund Fee'
Booked the uplift service for £60, only for the park to subsequently close due to a fire precaution that was completely outside of my control.
I’ve now requested a refund, only to discover that I’m being charged an £18 “refund fee”. So despite the service being cancelled because the park is closed for safety reasons, I’m expected to lose £18 for requesting my money back.
Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that cancellations may sometimes incur fees, but charging an £18 refund fee when the closure is due to a safety issue at the park is completely unreasonable. Very disappointing.

We're sorry to hear you're disappointed.
However, we'd like to clarify that the refund fee you've been charged was not related to a closure of the park or any decision made by BikePark Wales regarding your booking date.
At the time you requested your refund, your booking was for a future date and no decision had been made to close the park on that day. As a result, your request was processed as a standard customer cancellation and the normal booking Terms & Conditions applied, including the applicable refund fee.
For clarity, if we ever have to close the park due to circumstances such as extreme weather, wildfire risk or other safety concerns, we contact all affected customers directly. In those situations, customers are offered options which typically include a full refund or a voucher for a future visit, as the closure is initiated by us rather than the customer.
Safety will always be our priority, and we would never open the park if we believed conditions presented an unacceptable risk to riders, staff or the surrounding environment.
In this instance, the decision to cancel was made before any decision regarding your booking date had been taken. Unfortunately, by requesting a refund in advance, the booking fell under our standard cancellation policy rather than any closure policy which may or may not have become relevant at a later date.
We're sorry you're unhappy with the outcome, but we hope this helps explain why the refund was processed as it was.

It was amazing while it lasted
It was amazing while it lasted. Had about 4 runs and they were amazing until unfortunately the whole park had to close due to wild fires. I hope they manage to get the fires under control and the establishment is ok. I’m sure I just came on an unlucky day as wildfires are spreading across wales. I will be back soon to explore more of what they have to offer 🤙

BPW is my favourite place to ride
For sure BPW is my favourite place to ride. I/we go at least half a dozen times a year.
The price of the uplift is totally justifiable. The booking process, registration and actual uplift process is easy and the supporting staff are friendly and helpful.
Trails are constantly being maintained, enhanced or new trails added. The email and YouTube video updates on activity, help build excitement for the next visit.
Whether your thing is flowy and jumpy or challenging knar, the options are awesome. There is something for everyone regardless of skill level.
Whole heartedly recommend visiting, love it.

Trialled an evening ride but was too…
Trialled an evening ride but was too late to add uplift so had to ride up which I didn’t enjoy (my fault). As such only one run back down due to time. However this was my first BP and only really a “let’s take a glance visit when it’s quieter”. I did enjoy the blue trail we tried. We had a go at the practice mount the bikes for uplift and we were useless 🥵 Looking forward to coming back for a whole days riding. but I am worried about letting my son down as he’s far greater advanced than I am but he’s 15 and so may be stuck with mum on blues! I loved the variety and amount on offer so can’t wait. (I think) 😂 😝

Great day out for all abilities
Great day out for 3 of us age 12, 14 and first timer at 50. Easy booking online -decide early as it’s often fully booked. Easy and efficient to check in, get passes and hire equipment (good kit). Friendly, helpful and experienced staff at all points including uplift and food.
Hardly had to wait for uplifts and a great range of trails meant it didn’t feel busy even on a fully booked day.
Fantastic place to improve skills and confidence.

The experience was amazing
The experience was amazing . We had hired bikes and all equipment . The staff were super helpful friendly and welcoming . My sons own bike had a puncture and the guys fixed it in ten minutes despite being busy with lots of things . The uplift service was excellent. The trails were fantastic and well maintained . We will definitely come back

Exciting trails in excellent condition
Exciting trails in excellent condition! Our first trip to BPW yesterday in a group of 5. It was hands down the best EMTB experience we have had yet. One of us hired an EMTB and was met with great staff who set the suspension up perfectly. The bike was a new Trek Rail 9.8 with Maven brakes and Zeb fork! Couldn't believe it! We hit the Kermit first which was excellent and then progressed through 5 or 6 blue trails. Unbelievable fun. We did the pedal pass and really enjoyed the EMTB steep climb (well most of us did anyways). We cannot wait to come back.

Perfect day
Perfect day, dry dusty trails to keep us focused. Not a cloud in the sky and our group of seven were able to stay together. Due to the excellent uplift, we barely waited at all if we didn't all get the same bus.
Plenty of great food and friendly staff in the cafe. Super areas in and out of the glorious sunshine for relaxing. All in all a super day out. What's not to like? A++

Morning of personal coaching with Griff
We had a morning coaching with Griff, one coach to 2 of us. He tailored the coaching so both of us really got maximum benefit from the session. Really knowledgeable and nice chap so it was good fun as well as helping us really develop.
Then we spent the afternoon putting his coaching tips into practice, having a blast on the really nicely maintained trails (despite the dry dusty conditions!). All in all a great day.

Amazing. Well organised uplift. Trails fantastic. I like that they limit numbers so we were only waiting 5 or 10 mins max for lift in peak holiday time. So many trails that they never felt crowded. Cafe food was excellent. Highly recommend

Superb day out
Superb day out, the trails are fantastic, thrrws absolutely loads of them and the uplift service is excellent.
Everything else on site is top notch other than the burgers. Loads of lumps of gristle. At £15 a pop they could be using much better meat than that.
One of our group needed a bit of first aid after an off and again the staff were fantastic.
Must easily be the biggest trail centre in the UK there's something for absolutely everyone. Just watch the trail gradings because some of the reds are pretty tough compared to reds at other centres - gap jumps etc. Feels.more like how they grade the trails in the Alps so dont get too confident and overcook it.
