These guys take your money even if the tour isn’t available. Wish I’d read the reviews below before booking. They cancelled the day after payment was taken, saying the tour want available for another two weeks (despite availability showing for a particular day and date online), which meant that I was charged bank fees for conversion as well as losing out on the exchange rate. The reaction of the company? Not even bothered. No apology, just an assertion that it was all in the terms and conditions. Sort out your website so that it links with availability or hold card details to charge when availability is confirmed. Either way, the customer couldn’t lose out and write stinking reviews! I am sure this will be followed up with a curt and self-righteous justification as the others have been, but it makes me feel better nonetheless to speak the truth about this company.

Weekend in Italy. Bought our entrance ticket to the Uffizi and to Accademia gallery. Thought it a good idea to get an iPad device guide at the same time
...bad idea! Arrived at the Ufizzi and was told they didn’t work with this company and the small print explains to collect the pad from another area of Florence.
Got on the phone to Weekend in Italy. They confirmed the small print. So I asked about the next day, the Accademia visit? She informed me that I couldn’t collect it today (Friday) but it was okay tomorrow. She confirmed the address to go to collect.
Saturday. Went across town to the address given. Number 6 derelict building - unoccupied. On the phone again - young lady tells me she is not in Florence - in Prato - and doesn’t know the address herself. “We are closed today”.
So. Weekend in Italy took money from me for two days audio - for no delivery.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from such a misleading company!

We used this company to visit the Stibbert Museum. When we arrived we were 2 of 5 people that were scheduled to start the tour at the same time. Stibbert Museum made only 1 tour guide take the 2 groups of 5 around the museum in 2 different languages - Italian and English. Many times the guide did not tell us in English what he had said to the others in Italian. It made our experience horrible.
We suggest providing mobile earpieces about each piece in the collection, done in various languages including English.

First of all, don't use booking agents by mistake - only stick to the official sites, otherwise you are paying money for nothing - in fact it is a whole lot more complicated for more money and completely risky because you don't know what you are really booking - a timed entry slot, a guided tour, an audio guide - who knows?? And if you get your voucher, it just says admit this person with the voucher. You then have to go to the ticket office (which you would have had to do in the FIRST PLACE and then get a ticket, but only then you discover that you have actually booked a VERY EXPENSIVE guided tour, but there is no information on who to meet and where and when. So, you are lost. In summary, this site is expensive, inconvenient, unclear and even after you have booked a time, they will tell you it is not available and propose alternative times on days you were not going to be available. A disaster - AVOID>

Do not buy tours from this company! We purchased admission to a museum which Viator’s website stated was flexible and did not offer times to choose from. This company chose a time for us and refused to move it when I explained the time forced onto us is before the arrival of our train. Awful people! I have no choice but to dispute this with my credit card.
My experience was not good. Communication was slow, their website is confusing. I booked the Expresso Wifi and was not picking it up until 9/18. I sent an email on 9/5 asking if I could drop it off a day early 9/27 instead of 9/28 because it would cause me to be late to my flight. Was told I still had to pay for the day because I rented it for 10 days. I would have thought 22 days advance notice to remove ONE day from the rental would have been enough, but no, they still charged me.
I used their website to book all my tours in Venice and was suggested a tour of a castle to add on, so I did. Once I arrived in Venice and the time approached, my google maps informed me it was almost 100 miles away. No where near us. When I contacted them to ask for an exchange since this was confusing on the website, the blame was placed on me for not knowing the map. Then was told NO I would not get a refund or exchange.
Several times I called the number in Italy while trying to get my tour location, information, etc., and was greeted with very impatient, non English speaking reps. They raised their voices and didn't want to help. No one know knew where to send me, who I should contact, it is very unorganized.
Another tour I booked was an outside ghost tour. The night was cold, windy and raining. Again, I asked if I could exchange for another night or another tour, and was given the same answer. NO! Thankfully the $150 gondola ride I also booked, would not go out in that weather either, so at least they rebooked me to the next night. Did I mention this was my 50th birthday? It was supposed to be special and wonderful and memorable.
I also booked an audio tour of Venice. The company was having an issue with the office space so they were not there when we arrived. AGAIN, we tried to call and get help, again we greeted with rude and uncaring people. When we finally found the people with the devices, it was almost noon, so we had 4 hours to use our devices. After using them for 20 mins, the screen displayed a message that the device was too hot and was shutting down. I informed the company about this when we turned them in, and they didn't seem to care at all. I wrote to Weekend in Italy, and they said they would ask the company. To date (over a week later) I still haven't gotten an answer or any type of refund.
So, to sum it up, I GAVE THEM approx. $300 to ruin my milestone birthday with unacceptable customer service, rudeness, devices that don't work, and tours that were nowhere near me. Yes, I take a portion of the blame, but a GOOD company would have worked out something to help their client and save their review. Very rarely do I write bad reviews, but all travelers should know about this experience. The ONLY reason they aren't getting ONE star is because they did switch my gondola ride (not of their choice I'm sure).
Do yourself a favor and go with City Wonders or Maya Tours instead. They actually care about their clients and will work with you to make your experience enjoyable.

Buyer beware. Wish there was an option for zero stars. The site can be tricky with selecting dates and if you have an error, your money is gone. I had an issue with a voucher date and when I inquired to have it cancelled or changed, they could care less. Should have checked their rating before i booked, dont make the same mistake

Beware! Will not provide any details of the tour until after you pay, then will tell you when it's convenient to them and not provide ANY flexibility, changes or cancellations. You book it, you buy it regardless of if you take the tour our not

I have requested tickets for 8:15 am and I have received a voucher for 15:15. That time does not work for us. I have called "Weekend in Italy" and asked to change the time but instead I have received an offer to refund. When I have requested the refund, it turned out that the service fee, which is not refunded, is more than the tickets cost. I got refund for 31 euros out of 62.86. Also, it turns out there is no problem getting tickets for 8:45 which we did. Not exactly 8:15 but close enough. "Weekend in Italy" is just tricking customers to buy tickets on their site and sells them tickets for the most inconvenient time instead of requested time.The merchant charges service fee which is more than the actual tickets cost and for that fee the merchant did not answer my request to change tickets. I had corresponded to the merchant by phone and email quite extensively and it did not work. I would understand their point if there were really no tickets close to requested time but no, I could get tickets without any problem hours later after my phone conversation with them.So, it looks like a scam scheme.
