VIPTutors is a great way to improve your writing skills and tutoring abilities while making some extra money on the side! They're very responsive and helpful if things go wrong (which is almost never) and they're always very kind!

Good and reliable tutoring work. You can do as much or as little as you want and the expectations are always clearly stated.

I am a tutor at this site. I very much enjoy working for them and find the staff attentive to resolving any issues when they arise. Would strongly recommend if you are an experienced or prospective tutor!

I love working for VIPTutors, they make it very clear what you need to do and sort out a lot of things for you, allowing you to focusing on tutoring. I think there a few things that need to be done in terms of communication, but this has been improving recently

VIPTutors has given me access to a broad client base. The clients are typically inquisitive and intelligent, and I enjoy working with them. What makes VIP stand out is its customer service. The guys at the company are always available to help with organising sessions.

As a tutor, VIPtutors is my go to online tutoring platform, I come back to it time and again. The account managers are very helpful, and the automatic email reminders of upcoming sessions helped me tremendously to be organised.

I was approached by VIPTutors representatives in February 2021 to be a tutor, through which they immediately requested my services before I'd even had the chance to learn more about the service. While the start was rocky, this service and platform has improved over time, communicating promptly and paying tutors on time.

The site's UI is in serious need of improvement, often glitches and displays outdated bookings, and redirects to pages in loops.

I also think that more can be done to more comparably pay tutors for the amount of work that must be invested into some bookings - often requiring hours of background research and not having useful or robust reference material for tutors to build from.

A great agency to work with. I am able to set my price, and select assignments according to my experience and schedule. Communication is generally very good and any issues are resolved quickly. The only constructive point to make is that the web platform itself is sometimes quite difficult to use, and is constantly undergoing change - it would be great if it was in a more steady state and more easily navigable.

Great or possibly the best platform. Very flexible and simple to communicate with students.

A great platform to connect tutors and tutees, giving freedom in whether video call tuition is provided or essay and application polishing is selected. The one downside is the unpredictability of bookings - sometimes there are many relevant bookings possible and sometimes there's nothing I can register interest in.

Staff were unresponsive to basic company pay policy questions when I was first hired. However responsiveness improved once I found the right people. Since then communication has improved, and working with VIPTutors has been fairly smooth.

Update: upon posting this review, Sheila and the team reached out and paid me for the work I completed. I am updating my review to reflect this. I wish it did not have to escalate to this to receive payment for my work, but I appreciate Sheila for making it right.

I signed up to be a tutor on this platform in September of 2021. In November, I completed a couple of tutoring jobs to test whether this company was legitimate or a scam. Unfortunately, it appears to be a scam, as I have not received payment for the work I completed back in November. I have contacted their 'support' team and the recruiter who reached out to me regarding this several times, and the only answer I have received is "the billing department has been informed and will contact you any time soon." It is now almost February 2022 and still no word.

A good place to work. Very flexible and easy to select jobs you're interested in.

I love VIP tutors! They are very helpful and the platform is fantastic to use as a tutor.

An integrated platform for tutors to get work opportunities with great flexibility

VIP tutors has been a great place to work, with lovely and amenable coordinators who, despite the move to a new platform which somewhat complicated communication, were always happy to help and answer my questions. I enjoy being a tutor there!

very good communication, very easy setup and management

Having used VIPTutors actively for several months now, I am impressed with how organized and responsive they are, taking care of any administrative tasks which lets me focus on tutoring. Their tutoring platform makes it very easy to manage my workload and the staff are flexible when it comes to rates and scheduling. I would happily recommend VIPTutors to others.

The team at VIPTutors were very approachable and provided quick responses. They matched me with both suitable and plentiful students; whilst ensuring I was providing the correct quality of teaching.
