Positive: The interview preparation sessions are well organised with clear objectives and feedback forms, the booking system is fairly intuitive, communication is good and the payment is reliable.

Could be improved: The website doesn't work well on mobile, which would make access much easier. Also, the booking times are all in Beijing time zone, which overcomplicates figuring out when a session could be taken, it would be better if the session time reflected the time zone of the academic. The communication, although effective, is overwhelming because we get multiple emails, including notifications at the wrong time (e.g. it says session one day from now but it is 2 or 3 days away) plus messages on LinkedIn and the website (for the website ones, I get emails about getting messages, every hour!), I would stick to one method. Also, please do bear in mind the time difference, changes to bookings and communication cannot happen at 2am in the morning, either Beijing or anywhere else time, it is fine to send notifications at those hours but not expect a response. There is no way to link sessions to a calendar, which would be extremely useful, right now I have to add them manually. Payment for a session (especially in emails) comes up with wrong numbers occasionally as well. It would be very useful if we could have a filter for different types of sessions, dates available and fee. For sessions that are more open-ended (i.e. not interview preparation), the objective of the sessions was not very clear, I think specially in cases were parents arrange the sessions, the objective of the sessions and session planning should be clarified before contacting the academics, we cannot write a session plan without meeting a student and getting a clear idea of their situation.

They do not pay their devs and designers. That's why until now, their homepage is sill a huge miss. The owner keeps demanding to this, do that, but now even
a single penny, they do not pay their employees. Their website is not even so modern. It's scattered. Please pay me. You still owe my services. Pay me please.

They asked for a session, it took three hours to prep, and then they didn’t pay.

They're perfectionists about ensuring high-quality work for clients! The tutors are very highly-qualified and the review system ensures that the best tutors are rewarded.

The team at VIPT is very responsive and supportive, whether the questions be about clients or general website use and company policy. Dealing with a marketplace structure (as the VIPT team does) with clients on one side and professionals on the other can be quite difficult, so the organization is appreicated.

A very disgusting owner (David) and Shiella are not a good person to work with. They will not give your pay if they will fire you. They want you to deliver the task on the same day which is very impossible and most of the Devs (front end and back end) makes complaint. Think many times when applying here. You may go to another platform that gives review with this company.

Really strong tutor support which many agencies fail to offer. They will respond to you quickly and always take your concerns seriously, and were helpful and understanding when I was having technical issues before a lesson. They are upfront about the amount they earn from your work which also inspires a collaborative and honest relationship. And, I think students get a good deal too as feedback forms have to be extensive and given my experience at other agency I feel their pricing is fair for the high quality students receive. Definitely worth working with them as a tutor or student!
