I do not even know where to start. I was called a liar, victim shamed and abused by vico staff all this while battling stage 3 renal cancer and now expected to pay a debt they have admited I should not have. AVIOD AVOID AVOID

Very nice man polite friendly and explained everything a credit to vico homes

Needed advice, on my boiler got it all sorted out with one phone call very quickly dealt with lovely person that help me

Giving me patience of two minutes to put my pet in one room and to come round the back door so that they can do the job very straightforward and very friendly

Joy was very polite and very helpful and sorted the problem and the plumber was very polite and did a great job

I couldn't be happier with the help I received today. The gentleman who came to fix my bathroom tap was not only extremely fast but also highly professional. What stood out to me the most was his respect for my space – he took off his shoes right at the door and left everything spotless. It is rare to see such great customer care these days. Super job, thank you so much!

Very helpful and understanding

Crumbling pointing between red bricks not being addressed correctly. Been told vico won't spend the money on such building works that are in need due to the fact all properties need it. Apparently it's too much money to do all. My cctv has recorded the conversation. I'm appalled

Tried since 09,00 to get through to speak to someone and didn’t succeed until the afternoon possibly a fault on the line

I am leaving this review to share my actual experience as a current tenant with Vico Homes. My family has been dealing with severe, police-warned neighbour harassment while living here. Even though the landlord knows I am a vulnerable mum with a C-PTSD diagnosis that recently resulted in an A&E admission, and that I have two young toddlers with rising Special Educational Needs, they have completely failed to protect us.

Vico Homes actually investigated my case internally and formally upheld a Stage 1 complaint, admitting to a service failure in how they handled everything, and offered small compensation. But an admission and small compensation means nothing when you are still left trapped in a dangerous situation.

Despite admitting they failed us, they still haven't provided any sense of safety or security. Housing officers involved have been nothing but dismissive and unhelpful, and sometimes just plain rude.

Because of their total lack of meaningful action, my health has spiralled and I've even lost my employment from the stress, thankfully, I quickly found myself back into employment but it’s hard to maintain employment when your housing situation is so unstable. I am now in a position where I am actively forced to look at private renting completely outside of my budget just to get my toddlers away from this nightmare. I honestly cannot recommend this housing association to any family who expects a safe home or basic support.

Edit: 24 hours after this review, the housing tenancy manager turned up on my DOORSTEP over this review. Asking if this review is about them, and have they done something to upset me. This review was about Vico in general and staff in general, not targeted to one staff member in particular or singling anyone out. I am extremely unhappy with how this situation is being handled. I can’t even begin to express how mentally exhausted and down I am about this entire situation, and it’s now with the housing ombudsman.

It's good they are taking an interest. The first in22 years I believe.

Listened to my problem and acted on it very swiftly the call operator was brilliant kind and reassured the probes would be passed to the appropriate department

Vico Homes customer service are always very helpful and lovely to talk to.
Craig the electrician came to fix my bathroom fan, he was very respectful of my home, friendly, cleaned up after himself & got the job done.
