We downloaded the pre recorded material but were concerned with the quality.

They refunded the money for the pre recorded material but refused to refund the enrolment fee which meant that we spent £99 for nothing

We were very disappointed by this as it seems unreasonable to withhold enrolment fee if you are no longer enrolled

We decided not to proceed with live sessions as we had genuine concerns about the quality of the programme. In addition we did not receive the pre recorded in time to watch this ahead of the live session

I offered to retract this submission so that we can get a quick resolution, as I genuinely believe it is unfair to withhold the registration fee where there are concerns about quality. This is a genuine complaint.

We just wanted to let you know how much the girls are enjoying their lessons! Our 7-year-old starts every one with a massive smile on her face (harder with the 9-year-old!).

Having done remote classes during COVID, we were really concerned how engaged the girls would be but that couldn't be further from your lessons. They both really look forward to them and talk about what they did afterwards - something that was like getting blood out of a stone when they were at school.

Cannot recommend highly enough!

What intrigued me the most about UKVS was the website. I had no referrals - just a google search for Online Schools and UKVS was one of the Schools that popped up. I love how engaging, colourful and catchy the website was and that kind of gave me a good vibe of what the School would be like.

I had already decided that my 11 year old son will join at the beginning of April before meeting Syd but my meeting with Syd reinforced my decision even the more. It was such a lovely and warm meeting where I got to know more about the School and I must confess that I really enjoyed engaging with Syd - who is such a cheerful, fun-loving and innovative founder.

Joining UKVS has made our transition from mainstream School to Home educating a worthwhile experience. The teachers have been great & really engage with the pupils, the quality of learning & materials are outstanding especially the priceless opportunity to watch back teaching videos which have been very helpful to my son.

I’m a happy mum with a happy son and we’re both enjoying the flexibilities of Home educating. I will definitely recommend UKVS!

We had to find an alternative to mainstream school for my secondary school age daughter last year. I was really not keen to homeschool with all the responsibility that involved. Fortunately UKVS was recommended to us and we met Syd. I’ve been thankful for that every day since.

My daughter is thriving at UKVS. She’s regained her confidence and love of learning, and it’s had a positive impact on the rest of her life as well. In fact, she’s a whole new girl. She’s on track to get five iGCSEs in core subjects with UKVS so she’s happier and has all her options open to do whatever she wants to in the future.

Syd is so dynamic and full of ideas and projects. UKVS is reliable, supportive, responsive and sensibly priced. We feel part of something really special and I’d recommend UKVS to anyone who’s considering home ed for their child.

We’re having a fantastic experience with UKVS and can’t recommend the school highly enough. They offer an individualised approach and the teachers are so inspiring and very supportive. Syd is great and she has created a school with vision. My son no longer dreads school but loves and looks forward to it.

I recently emailed UKVS to say how pleased I am with everything and how happy we all are since my daughters started with them. So, I wanted to share my experience with anyone looking at joining.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The admin side of things runs very smoothly and I always get very quick replies if I have any queries.

The girls’ English and Maths teacher, Helen, is absolutely fantastic. She is amazing at capturing the students imagination, she holds their attention and makes lessons fun. She is also great at picking up if someone isn’t happy or struggling and makes sure to address it without the whole class knowing.

Lucy for science again is great! The girls are so excited for their lessons each week. How she makes it seem so hands on is beyond me! Absolutely fantastic lessons.

They also have Spanish lessons with Elizabeth who again is amazing. The girls love the lessons and have gained so much knowledge and confidence in a very short space of time. They love it so much they argue between themselves about who is going to answer the most questions!

I can’t fault anything. So glad we found UKVS!!

My 14 year old daughter has been in the program for 10 months and she is enjoying it very much she was bullied at school but now he is the happy girl she was before. UK Virtual helps the parents in all the questions they may have.

We joined UKVS in September this year after researching and talking to several other online schools. No one else could offer the flexibility and approach that UKVS do. We love the 3 weekly structure, makes so much more sense than long half terms and exhausted children.

So far my daughter (8) has found the lessons enjoyable and informative. She looks forward to logging on and engages throughout the lesson despite concentration being a big challenge for her. She especially loves Spanish & gets so excited before her lesson.

I have found UKVS to be very flexible & accommodating. Syd the founder is very accessible and responds quickly to questions & concerns.

UK Virtual school have been incredible. The lessons are interactive, cover so much, the teachers are amazing. My daughters confidence has grown so much. She is happy to get on with the lessons by herself and there isnt any prep which is great. The homework is always interesting and my daughter often continues the theme of her lessons throughout the week. Would definitely recommend UK virtual

Like many people, we stumbled around trying to find alternatives to schools who were just replicating bricks and mortar online during covid lockdowns. We were fortunate to have found UK Virtual who were offering small class sizes and flexibility. The live lessons and close relationships the kids have with their teachers isn’t replicated across any other platform we have found. This is for those who aren’t convinced by their own ability to homeschool. Every lesson is interactive and we have found our children are now excelling in maths.

Amazing school , great teaching staff who are friendly and engage the children well .
Good range of subjects that follow the national curriculum .

I would like to recommend all parents leaving abroad like us to try this online school. Both teachers and support staff are skilled and gentle and their « easy to grasp » program is perfect to supplement efficiently our kid’s education. It adds a British flavour to what our kid learns day to day in his local school abroad and strengthens his understanding.

Our kid initially joined in year 4 one way weekly stream classes for one month during the pandemic but we signed up again and again since he was so happy and comfortable with the e-learning process. A big thanks to Syd for founding this school!

We have just started with uk virtual school and I honestly can’t recommend them enough.The team behind the scenes have all been amazing from enquiries to getting set up and my daughter starting.My daughter suffers from anxiety and she was so nervous starting but all the teachers have been amazing they have all welcomed her and made her feel at ease,initially she struggled with the interactive lessons but she’s now really enjoying them and has enjoyed meeting the other students so after feeling really anxious about the future I’m now feeling happy and looking forward to the future and fitting some more subjects in next term

Great fun Teachers. Excellent Teaching. Flexibility. In January 2020 there were no joining fees which was so amazing in comparison with some other online schools. We don't intent to drop out but the option is there if anyone wishes to do that. That demonstrates how confident the school is.

My year 8/9 and and now year 10 kid loves it. She loves the interactive classes and the non interactive too.

Definitely give it a shot.

We have been using UK Virtual School for over a year now. We have been so impressed with the helpful and kind staff, they all want the best for each child which makes it feel very personal.
We chose to use UKVS when we had a family crisis and felt we needed to support our other children with their Maths and English, it has been a great help and suited our child really well. The teachers don’t rush the children when they need extra time or give them extra challenges when needed without overwhelming them.
Communication has always been great, checking in, sending messages if teachers are being substituted or if there’s issues with technology.
We are looking forward to a second year of UKVS.

I found this school last year during lockdown. And I’m so glad I signed both of my children up. Both kids were behind on education from their old school and were all caught up within a few months at this school. They are amazing at communicating a real family feel. Both children are now excelling in all aspects in school. This is the best investment I have EVER made for my children. We paid upfront for the whole year as it was a no brainer. My children will never return to public school. We are UKVS FAMILY FOR LIFE! the owner syd is supper friendly and helpful. All teachers are kind and pay good attention to every child’s needs! Fees are very affordable for the quality education we get. I highly recommend UKVS wish we found them sooner. Looking forward to the future with this amazing school.

My daughter has just completed year 9 and now starting year 10.
We had applied for a school to sit her GCSE’s in and she turned the place down due to the fact that she realised she really does love HE and the UK Virtual school works for her.
She attained a grade 9 at age 14 end of year 9 English Language mock igcse exam.
No way would she have got this grade if she was in a conventional school.
She has really blossomed in confidence with her learning.
The teachers are fabulous I honestly can’t recommend UK virtual enough! X

Fantastic educational resource in the past year of crazy pandemic life! So good we’re continuing! Tutors are excellent! Knowledgable, approachable and tune into the child. My child is academically ahead because of the tutoring and support received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these classes!
Furthermore, they have great visions for future courses, which is exciting.
