Came and took mats and old knackered hand towel machine despite massive get out charges! Then after 20 years of loyalty they had the mordacity to say we could keep it for £85 plus vat ! Be very very aware if you sign any paperwork with these people and ever want to get out like I did ( as I was retiring ) they will shaft you for termination fees. I asked them to reconsider as I had been a loyal long standing customer and was retired not going to a competitor? They replied NO look at the contract you signed over 20 years ago. So I paid my massive termination fees and vowed if I can stop this happening to someone else then so be it. You have been warned . Good luck with your business whoever you may be .

The laziest ppl get promoted coz they driving you at home at same time the heavy workers got more time do come z of favouritism..

I worked with Elis at my last job and was quick to get them onboard when i started my new role. they have been nothing but professional since signing back up with them last year, All the staff are friendly and are quick to resolve any issues i may have had, looking forward to working with them for the future.

We changed from Johnson to Elis because they are local and appeared to offer a competitive contract.
The drivers are always very helpful and friendly. We had two weeks with no deliveries in August and September, we keep getting promised credit notes but nothing materialises. We have contacted our local depot and they are friendly enough but nothing ever gets done, broken promises and they owe us money.
I would not recommend this company.

They get you and then that’s it, boom you’re in a 3 year contract and have to pay 6 months plus a fee to leave!
Service is shocking! Management shocking! Charge you extras and do not even provide you with a service you are paying for!

I use this company weekly to launder lab coats and they are always returned clean and on time. The drivers are always cheerful and helpful. Good communication via email or telephone.

We have had an absolutely awful experience with this company. The incompetence is mind-blowing. We are a tattoo studio who need monthly clinical waste emptying.
At first this company seemed okay, until we signed the contract... They promised us a large yellow bin (written in the contract) and they failed to deliver said bin, so they immediately didn't hold up their end of the contract. After this we have tried to cancel numerous times but mysteriously whenever you mention terminating the contract, the company go silent. We have now phoned them so many times and gone through so many people to the point it's laughable. The last person we spoke to told us to send an email, so we did, ignored, of course. Today we received a letter demanding our "outstanding balance", now what I would like to know, Elis, is what service have you actually been provided us to be charging us? You know, seeing as we don't have a bin for you to even empty.

One of the funniest phone calls we had, was when we were discussing the services we weren't recieving and the person on the phone actually told us that Elis don't offer clinical waste disposal... Maybe a little bit of staff training wouldn't hurt...

But in this letter today, it's the first time Elis have mentioned terminating the contract so at least we're finally getting somewhere with that. But really they should be terminating the contract as they haven't upheld their end of it not because we refuse to pay for a service we haven't received.

The reason I've come here is because it's the only place I can find where Elis will actually acknowledge you and give you a reply... So please Elis, why don't you actually get in touch with us like we've been asking you to for nearly a year and actually sort this out. Your company is a joke.

I'm a new customer and I keep having problems. Everything they offered me when selling the service was later denied. They don't answer, they don't resolve the issues, they don't show me the contract, they haven't given me a copy. I feel scammed.
