Unfortunately you have to award a star value personally I do not think it is even worth 1 star. This review covers the Tuya Smart Home Video Doorbell.

Good points - None piece of rubbish
Bad Point - User manual in Chinese
Impossible to understand instructions as they refer to going into pairing mode but doorbell has nothing to enable this to be done. Manual says press the button do that and the doorbell rings. Other options included hold the button down until it goes red just goes blue for about 10 seconds then goes off.

As I said at the start this is rubbish do not purchase I will be chasing up a refund as it is so bad.

I have ordered a 4G mini GPS pet tracker but it is not accurate at all. Doesn’t matter where I test it, in an open or closed space, it does not show the exact location. The difference in distance is often 600 meter (2000 ft ) or more. When I check the trajectory for the past few hours it shows me path’s I’ve never taken. On the top of that it does not even show the right address, just the zip code and the city. I need to buy another one from a different manufacturer. Waste of money.

We have 5 Tuya devices controlled thro the app - 5 years old now and all work just fine
I dont understand the low score here and sometimes wonder if the failures experienced by some are their own technical shortcomings
I came across these revews looking for a controller of our heat pump - to add to our Tuya control centre.

Horrible! Its a scam the light bulb connect to the app but you cant use it at all. Never buy this lamp or any of their "smart" devices

Accidently bound Smartapp app to wrong telephone number and the app does not allow changing back even via email. The chat bot says to raise a support ticket to get changed but after 2 weeks still no response pretty poor

Edit after a very long time and chasing via parent company Tuya who actually did seem fairly helpful got sorted amending rating

Tuya is playing a very dishonest and dirty game by blocking manufacturers' non-certified ZigBee devices, shifting the manufacturer's responsibility onto the end users. Don't use Tuya!

Only gave this 1 star cause I had to,steer clear of their video doorbells, absolutely useless!don't connect to Alexa and only alert you that the doorbell has been pressed when I'm in the tuya/smartlife app,biggest waste of money and time

I would give zero stars for the Tuya video doorbell if i could,,what an absolute waste of money,,only gives you video when someone rings the doorbell and even that is hit and miss,i should have known better to buy such tat.

Tuya smart lights are the bane of my existence. I got them a few years ago for my new house because I wanted to splurge with the family room lighting, they have been the biggest hassle and pain in the head. They’re consistently frustrating because they keep breaking getting disconnected some of them going off-line and some of them not going off-line Nothings in sync. It’s terrible and drives me absolutely crazy!! DO NOT BUY!!!

Dire, it will not let you respond in time to anyone ringing the bell, it just goes into sleep mode. I’ve tried my best to get it to work, I’ve even subscribed to motion detection in the hope that would extend my chance, but it can’t detect anything?? If anyone knows how to get it to work please let me know but this is such a waste of money

I got smart lights from a local dutch company nice features compatible with alexa, it turns out it is tuya branded, to install the three lights, I have to give the app my email address and internet password, it is asking my precise location, i do it once set the lights to a static setting then deleted the app changed the password, I will use them as regular lights. Every week the lights resets themselves starting to blink faster and faster asking me to pair them again with the app. I am sick of it for the convenience of few bucks you are selling your privacy and you get annoyed by the eapidly blinking lights, you have been warned.

Who makes you pay just for notification text? Never buy their products.

Très compliqué à l'utilisation et la communication avec le fournisseur est nulle pour eux tout est simple mais rien ne correspond aux explications écrites ils sont très mal noté et ne font aucun effort pour améliorer l'utilisation de l'application Tuya smart . A éviter ce matériel

I’m surprised at the poor reviews of this video doorbell. As well as a good price, it’s connected to my network easily and the quality of the videos and screenshots is very good.

Non capisco le recensioni negative.
Funziona perfettamente, certo vista la diffusione ormai enorme l'app e le funzioni sarebbero migliorabili parecchio ma funziona tutto, telecamere, switch, ecc. C'è qualche lag nelle esecuzioni, vai a capire se nel giro cellulare/server/wifi o che.
Sulle notifiche audio invece pessime, in solo tipo non di riesce a configurarle, testuali ok.
