Vietravel Omdömen 

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Wir buchen über booking.com einen one-way-Flug mit vietravel. Zwei Tage davor teilte die Airline mit, der Flug sei "due to operation reason" verschoben worden. Anstatt am Abend sollte er nun 6:05 Stunden später um 2:30 Uhr in der Nacht stattfinden.
Ein E-Mail-Kontakt mit der Airline scheiterte daran, dass die E-Mail-Adresse über die gebucht wurde nicht mit dem vollständigen Namen im Personalausweis übereinstimmte.
Ein Telefonkontakt über das Festnetztelefon des Hotels scheiterte daran, dass diese Nummer nicht mit der bei der Buchung angegebenen Handynummer übereinstimmte.
Anzumerken ist, dass wir sämtliche anderen Daten (Buchungsnummer, vollständiger Name, Telefonnummer etc.) zur Verifizierung angeben konnten und bei der Buchung selbst die E-Mail-Adresse kein Problem darstellte.
Als wir schließlich mit Hilfe von booking.com eine interne Referenz-E-Mail-Adresse hatten, die mit unserer Buchung verlinkt war, teilte der Kundenservice der Airline mit, dass im Moment keine Auskünfte erteilt werden können und wir am nächsten Tag um 8 Uhr (der von der Airline vorgeschlagene Flug wäre dann in dieser Nacht um 2:30 Uhr gewesen) zum Flughafen kommen sollen, um das Problem zu klären.
Zudem stimmen die angebenen E-Mail-Adressen von Vietravel auf der englischen und vietnamesischen Homepage nicht überein, sodass unsere ersten E-Mails als nicht zustellbar zurückkamen.
Booking.com teilte zudem mit, sie könnten aufgrund der Beschränkungen der Airline keine Änderungen am Flug vornehmen.
Letztlich haben wir einen halben Urlaubstag mit telefonieren, Chatten und E-Mails schreiben verbracht, um letztlich eigenständig einen Ersatzflug zu buchen. Ob wir unsere Mehrausgaben erstattet bekommen steht nich in den Sternen.

Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werden wir sicher keinen Flug mehr mit dieser Airline buchen.

Zero stars! Scam company!

A scam company! They are delaying their flights intentionally to force more people to fly at the same time. Bad costumer service and zero offered compensation or acknowledgement of the extreme delays. Waited over 8 hours and they all their staff and support act like that's normal without giving any justified causes for the extreme delays. Their own stated policy online says they will refund your ticket when delayed for more than 5 hours. They costumer service says otherwise.... DON'T FLY WITH THIS COMPANY!

Really terrible customer service. The staff are very rude, disinterested and unpleasant. It's like you're there for them, not they're there to serve you. It is not a good choice of airline to book.

Flight cancelled at last moment. Rescheduled two days later, after persuasion changed to one day later. Realised that they are a one aircraft or some such company. Was the only flight cancelled that day from Hanoi to Danang. Spoiled holiday plans for many. I feel in hindsight I should have booked with a larger airline who could have managed better

Vietravel Airlines - DELAY AIRLINES
Vietravel Airlines should be named DELAY AIRLINES. If they do not have enough guests for one flight, they will let the customers wait to join the next flight. It is exactly what thay are doing the business. If you are on a business trip or you have to transit flight at the arrival airport Please DO NOT fly with Vietravel. By the way, the check in staff are very rude.

I would not recommend taking a flight from Vietravel Airlines. As they are not reliable at all. They delayed my flight more than 10 hours on a very short notice. After I personally visited the customer care counter as they don’t understand good English. They told me that I have two options that either cancel the flight and take the full refund or take the flight after 10 hours, which also have no guarantee as they are fairly new and gets a lot of problem in their operations. So, I told them not to cancel my flight as of now because I wanted to check the price of flights which fits my plan, also the flights price became high as well for the same day. I don’t no why, he cancelled my flight then I had to take Vietnam Airlines with close to the double price. Also, he made me wait 3 hours near to his counter and after that he tried to sell me the same flight which was going after 10 hours in much higher rates which I paid previously. Although, the customer care guy said sorry to me personally, but that doesn’t make any sense.
I would recommend you taking Vietnam Airlines, VietJet and Bamboo airlines. I had really good experience with them, they are very much reliable.

DONT CHANGE YOUR FLIGHT. BETTER DONT BOOK WITH AIRVIETTRAVEL These guys know how to steal your money.

I had booked an economic flight. I wanted to change my destination. On the website it showed 440K VND (15$) fee for flight change. When you confirm it doesn’t show hidden fees. You are asked are you sure you want to change flight? I choose yes. Then you proceed to payment page where it shows the actual fee for changing the flight 2.1 million VND (5times more than the advertised price). So what do I do? Cancel the payment? Then I will just go to the initial destination right? It doesn’t appear so. My flight is changed but the payment is still not completed. So I contact customer care to ask to cancel the payment and just revert to my previous flight destination. It’s very common that you can only really change the actual flight once you paid successfully, right?? At least that’s how still go as usual.

Customer care gets back to me with the following:

“Ticket Status: Changed on 23FEB23 by you
Change fee: 800,000VND/ Pax / Segment + Fare difference
Total amount incurred: 2,144,000 VND.

Note:
Please pay by Cash at the airport on the day of flight.
The changed ticket will not return to its original state.
When you make a flight change, please pay any additional costs (if any). If there is an unpaid charge, you will not be able to take both old & new flights.”

So basically My old flight is invalid/canceled and the new flight will only be confirmed after payment.
So I lost my ticket and they basically taken my money for granted.

Well if you don’t consider this as actual theft then you really need to go see a doctor.

Never change flights with Air viet travel because they will literally fool you and make your ticket useless.

Advertising a fare without all the extra costs if very sneaky. And you forced the customers to pay again or they lose their flight and their money

The customer service line is not real - there is constantly a busy signal. And at the airport, they simply tell you to call customer service. They are completely uninterested in helping customers.

Super sketchy airline: cancelled flight, but we were not informed! Almost missed connecting flight to Europe.
The website is offline ("403 error"). On the phone they hung up when they heard I spoke English. 4 tries to call their hotline - nobody picks up.
The cancelled flight was still "available" on several booking websites - maybe they make money with fake flights?
