Flew from Hanoi to HCM Had perfectly normal budget airline experience, no delays. Got told off for trying to take 2 bags as carry on but apart from that everything else was good

They are pathetic in every sense that you can think of for any airline experience. Ground staff, hostess, web check in

the worst flight agency in Vietnam, we will not be able to change your information. because they are about to go bankrupt so they always delay in 3-6 hours to get more customers, even on the next day

I was a bit hesitant to book due to the many bad reviews I found online.
But I decided to give them a go anyways because their timing was convenient and price low.
I had a good roundtrip from Saigon to Da Nang. On time, clean airplane, friendly staff.

If you purchase your ticket through an agency like Booking.com or Trip.com, you will not have the option to check in online or pre-purchase baggage. As a result, you will need to buy luggage at the airport, and regardless of the weight, you will pay a minimum fee for a 23kg allowance.

Today I come Hanoi-Bankok departure time 11:45 flight counter number 7 one of lady customer very bad service to customer. I feel like that very bad service and bad Communication to customer and I stand more 1:30 minutes in front of counter and no care and nothing taking to me about this and very taking like kg and ticket flight name and like that. She ask how much day live in thailand I think this question no need to ask me because of I already have long time visa she must checking customer details why so bad customer to communicate and no respect to customer. I really want to say need response to her. Thanks

Be careful : it is a Scam ! They are not legit.
They delayed my flight by 8 hours and said I would get a refund if I want to cancel it, I answered that yes I want to cancel it and get a refund, I bought a ticket last minute with Vietnam airlines.
Now they are ignoring my emails, I even went to the office in Hanoi, they lied on my face, they said they refund an « agent » they don’t even know where the money is. Never book with them, you will not take your flight and you will loose your money.

Je tiens à exprimer mon profond mécontentement envers la compagnie aérienne Viet Travel. Mon vol réservé a été retardé de plus de dix heures sans aucune explication ni information. Durant toute cette attente interminable, nous n’avons reçu aucune compensation, pas même une simple bouteille d’eau. Le manque de communication de la part de la compagnie était tout simplement inacceptable et frustrant.

Le pire dans tout cela, c’est qu’il est maintenant totalement impossible de joindre le service client, que ce soit par téléphone ou par mail, pour essayer d'obtenir des informations ou une quelconque réparation. Cette expérience déplorable avec Vietravel m'a prouvé que c’est de loin la pire compagnie aérienne que j’ai jamais empruntée.

Je déconseille vivement à quiconque de choisir Vietravel pour ses déplacements, sous peine de subir un service indigne et un manque de considération total pour les passagers. Une expérience à éviter à tout prix.

Booked a flight on 15/11 at 17h50 from Hanoi to Danang.
- the day before 14/11 at 20h17 I received a mail that my flight of 15/11 was delayed until 20h50 same day
- on the day of the flight 15/11 at 14h15 I received a mail that it was again delayed, now scheduled for departure on 16/11 at 2h35 in the middle of the night
- again on 15/11 at 18h07 I received a new mail that now my flight was rescheduled to 16/11 at 17h50.

Since it was delayed 3 times and reschuled to the next day, I would assume the my flight was cancelled and I would be put on the planned flight of the day after. Question that arises is, can everybody of the flight the day before board on another flight the next day, which probably was also fully booked.

Because of all the delays, I did not believe in Vietravel Airlines anymore and cancelled my tickets according their general conditions and requested a refund, which already had been approved. Never again will I book Vietravel Airlines tickets. I now have booked another flight for 16/11 with another airline.

FYI: I booked through Trip.com and although they are not responsible for the delays of Vietravel Airlines, they were very helpful through their live chat and assisted me the whole cancellation and refund process. So thumbs up for Trip.com

Do not buy from this airline, website won't even allow you to check in.

Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and then suddenly 38 hours, no refund available.

Horrific company and a scam

Booked for today 14h.. yesterday email change flight t0 19h ..airline refused to accept said 295 min no refund only up from 300 min..I ACCEPTED with headache. today just 3 hr before flight change again 295min to after midnight !!!
so book new and expensive with thai bcs just 1 day bfr....and loose 1 day from 5 day holiday and loose hotel booking 50+200 =250USD looss + maybe not get money back from them how knows

Terrible airline ever, you should never use their service

Une catastrophe, pas arrangeants et difficulté à communiquer, ils nous ont fait payer un bagage en soute pour un excédent de 2kg sur un bagage en main. Et lorsque nous avons demandé d’envoyer les bagages à main ils nous ont demandé de payer !!! C’est clairement des voleurs à éviter

Timeframe: 4 days and 3 nights; (rescheduled actual dates) October 09 - October 12, 2024

This is my first time and will be the last time I book any flights or tours with Vietravel (travel.com.vn or vietravelasia.com) in my Asia travels. Vietravel disappointed me with the failure in delivering the purchased & promised itinerary. The broken promises are as follows:
1. Changed Airline & Flight Dates - I had the knowledge that the smaller domestic airlines in Vietnam were unreliable. When booking this tour, the inquiry of the provided airline was made. I was promised Vietnam Airlines, a state owned carrier since 1976. Vietnam Airlines is the most reliable carrier and Vietravel gave false ease.
Two days before this tour’s departure, Vietravel notified me of the change in flight dates. To my shock, I discovered that we were flying via Cambodia Angkor Air to Da Nang and the return flight was Vietravel Airlines to HCMC, a lower cost carrier. This was the beginning of broken promises that not only hurt my carefully planned Vietnam vacation, but also hurt the tour experience which is explained in the misrepresented itinerary.
2. Lost Day in Da Nang & Rush for Departure - The itinerary for Day 4 at Da Nang states “Have breakfast at the hotel. … Shop for coastal specialties at Qua Mien Trung …” (“Dùng bữa sáng tại khách sạn. … Mua sắm đặc sản phố biển tại Quà Miền Trung …”), this was not delivered. The return flight to HCMC was rescheduled to depart around 9-10 am. The time change required the whole group to leave the hotel in Da Nang at 6 am. This early morning flight cheated the group out of touring the city of Da Nang and the shopping at Qua Mien Trung in the itinerary, losing half a day of our voyage.
Additionally, there was no time to have breakfast at the hotel. We received a cold to-go breakfast of low quality food.

This is a review of the travel agency’s handle on the advertised experience. It has nothing to do with the tour guide, the bus operator nor the experience of Vietnam overall. The tour guide, the bus operator and the places visited were all wonderful. However, the travel agency’s booking from cut corners has caused my mistrust in this agency. I would encourage people to visit and tour Vietnam through a more reliable and honest company. Vietravel is NOT to be considered.

Vietravel cancel my flight but didn't refund the money.

Vietravel airlines is the worse airline in Asia. I try to write a review of this airline on Google maps. it has headquarter address but does not show in Google maps. I am unable to pay pre-paid luggage on this airline website they hide this info and prefer me to go to airport. As the result, I paid more much for baggage than a ticket. Also they are unable to use credit card for me. Apparently they did bad things on credit card and kicked by visa and master companies.

Booked return tickets to Bangkok from Hanoi via trip.com you cannot manage your booking through their website or check in.

Both flights were delayed, having only 3 planes in their fleet I was able to see that the incoming flight hadn't even left Ho Chi Minh by the time we were supposed to be boarding.

I went to the desk and all 3 members of staff were asleep. No updates were given for the delay and your just left waiting.

Its a new airline i understand and it feels like it is, no check in by rows or Zones, everyone checks in at the same time which is carnage and adds to the delays, the Airbus A321 interior is tired but not the worst i've seen. Refreshments would be nice even on a 1.5 - 2hour flight a drink of water, but on this airline nothing.

The flight was ok, captains communications were good, but this airline needs to get the basics right to progress.

Communicate delay information and provide water in flight as a starting point.
