Sugo toys have been consistently amazing

Sugo toys have been consistently amazing to purchase from, their prices are always the lowest and if i have any concerns or queries, the support team are always absolutely incredible, courteous and happy to help. Have purchased from them for well over a year now, have never had a problem at all, and every single parcel has come carefully packaged to prevent any damage to the products. Highly, highly recommend!

I've been dealing with Sugotoys as my primary source of One Piece resin statues and Nendoroids collection for the past 5+ years.

They are the gold standard in Australia for what all hobbiest speciality stores should aspire too.

Their selection is huge, they have impressive physical stores and their correspondence is always in a timely manner.

Their warehouse team does a fantastic job with packing, as yet I have never had any issues with things being damaged in freight (obviously they can't control the courier) but the parcels themselves are wrapped with care and look premium.

Poor resolution after long delay

Extremely disappointing experience. I purchased a full set blind box that was guaranteed to contain all characters but received a duplicate instead. Despite returning the duplicate promptly, the issue dragged on for over two months with slow responses and no resolution. I was ultimately told the missing item was out of stock due to delays on their end. Communication and handling were poor, and the proposed resolution felt unfair given the circumstances. Would not purchase again.

A replacement for the missing character has already been arranged. It is currently pending incoming stock, and as soon as it arrives, we will ship it immediately.

extremely disappointing

we purchased a full box set of jjk blind boxes and unfortunately received a duplicate.
the entire process of dealing with sugo toys and their customer support has taken over two months; delayed replies and unreliable promises which never go anywhere - per their return process, we sent the duplicate plush back to their warehouse but received no confirmation or follow up after it had been received.
we have tried to remain patient, however our final email from customer support member RYAN shows how little this company truly cares about the people keeping their business afloat. the entire issue could have been resolved if they had promptly been in contact with us, and had not waited until after black friday (when their stock completely sold out) to provide us with an outcome.
although they claim our issue is “a manufacturer problem”, it doesn’t change the fact that they provided a sub-par product and now refuse to make things right unless we send the remaining 5 plushies back.
truly disappointing and beyond a joke

Sugo Toys, defective item, no help!

Ordered a did figure from Sugo. The item came with a defective neck joint. After several weeks of back n forth, they refused to help me resolve the issue and kept insisting there was nothing wrong with the figure. I asked if they'd simply send me a couple of neck joint pegs so I could try to fix it myself but they gave me excuse after excuse. Useless.

The neck movement you mentioned is noted as normal in the official manual for this figure. Even so, we offered a full refund since we have no remaining stock for an exchange. When you requested joint pegs, we asked for a short video so we could provide the correct parts. This helps ensure the replacement matches the exact issue you are experiencing.

We have never refused to help. In fact, the joint pegs have already been arranged with our supplier and will be sent as soon as they arrive.

We ask that you be fair in your assessment, as we have been working with you from the beginning to resolve the matter.

Started using AI generated art to promote their store.

I have one pre-order pending with them but I think I'll take my business elsewhere after this. It's in poor taste to use AI generated artwork to promote a business selling figures derived from artworks drawn by an actual human. If you can run a business, surely you can pay an artist to do graphics for you. I don't care if it's "not a big deal", don't normalise this stuff. It makes businesses look tacky, cheap, and untrustworthy.

Outstanding customer experience

Man! Everything about this shop is top notch, they have all the statues you can imagine, you can request a certain statue or figure and they will get it for you. The customer service is the best I’ve had in the whole toy/statue industry, I mean it is TOP tier. I never had any breakages from my orders. I’m a difficult customer, I have a lot of special request and they were always able to follow through and make it happen, if you need a reliable shop for your statues and figure collectibles Sugo Toys is the place to order.

Smooth transaction and delivery process

I have received my Blue archive figure 1/6 scale of Asuma Toki without damages to the box and the packaging. The customer service was great, they handled my request to cancel one figure very well and the emails are reassuring. Delivery was fast and had no problems. Would definitely pre-order from them again.

Delay, worst customer service

I preordered a set of Nikke figures announced to be released in December and I received them till May. The shipment delayed couple times and showed pending till one week before dispatch.
The figure arrived has couple black dots on it and the Cs refused the return. They even say as i opened that, I can not return it.
How can I examine the product if I'm not opening it?

Worst of all stores, just use Amiami.

A few hic ups, but customer service was good

Ordered from them a while ago and went to take a look at their Padstow warehouse and to do a pickup. They had a wide variety of items there, including a lot of ex-display models. Realised that the item I bought was way too large for me to take back, but since it cost over 200, they were willing to ship it to my address (Which is what I should've asked for in the first place) free of charge. The order arrived, but was missing an accessory pack that was packaged separately by the manufacturer. I contacted them, and they apologised and sent that package, free of charge.

I've been buying from them heaps

I've been buying from them heaps, their prices are usually quite cheap compared to other local and international stores.

However they do get things late sometimes but are legit. I've pre-ordered items from them and so far i've received them when they had their ETAs.

Customer service in person is pretty good but if you email them it's quite lengthy takes a couple of days to reply however when a solution is needed they're actually pretty good.

Con business for orders on their website.

Worst experience ever.

Dunno how their businesses on other platforms are like. But based on my experience, it’s the worst website order experience ever.

They kept on conning me into believing AusPost Parcel Collect address is the same as PO Box, and kept asking for nearly $100 extra for shipping when they clearly guaranteed shipping fees is $9 on their order page, let alone having compromised lost cover by so.

Well, you do not deserve a business if you dunno the difference between Parcel Collect & PO Box. And deserve even less if you know the difference, and just bullying ppl on purpose.

There’s no place for any businesses wishing making a profit by conning & bullying ppl in Oz. Move to India if that’s your way of business.

Avoid at all costs.

(How surprising a con business knows what racism is based on your reply, lol. Well all businesses are subject to scrutiny and review, and I’m not the one who provides service here. 🤣 You should feel lucky how tolerant Aussies are for your fishy business model. Just make sure not to get caught by somebody who really cares then. Bye. 🤣)

Thank you for sharing your feedback. However, we do not tolerate any form of racism or discriminatory remarks. Such behavior is unacceptable and goes against our company values. As a result, you are permanently banned from shopping with us.

Regarding your order, we have thoroughly reviewed the situation:

You requested your item be shipped via Australia Post to a Post Office address. However, our $9 flat rate shipping does not allow customers to choose a specific shipping service. The shipping method is selected based on the item's size and delivery location, and for your order in Tasmania, a courier service was necessary.

Despite this, we accommodated your request to use Australia Post and informed you that this would incur additional costs. Initially, we quoted ~$80, but after reducing the packaging size, we were able to lower the cost to $40 to save you money.

When you expressed dissatisfaction with the adjusted shipping fee, we respected your decision to cancel the order and promptly offered a full refund.

We were transparent and reasonable throughout the process, explaining that only Australia Post service can deliver to Parcel Lockers or PO Box addresses. No other courier service provides this option, as we clearly communicated to you.

Your behavior and accusations are both unreasonable and offensive. We have done everything to assist you within the bounds of our policies, and this matter is now considered closed.

Poor customer service experience

Had a pre-order that had only a rough date estimate, tried to bundle something else in by contacting them through their support ticket on their website within 24h of them sending an email sending they are preparing to process my email and did not get a reply until I contacted them via messenger.

By then, which is about 4 days later it had already been shipped so I missed out on free shipping and getting the other product I wanted as I was told there was nothing they could do.

Other than their god awful response time to support requests, there is nothing wrong with ordering here.
