Fan review
Overall very nice fan. Easy to assemble. However, the 4 black screws that have two washers in it could not screw into the shaft far enough to allow the black plastic cover to slide over it. The remote works very well and the fan and lights react immediately.

Those black screws giving you trouble is definitely not ideal though. That is one of those small things that can turn an easy install into an eye roll moment. If you want, reach out to us and we can help troubleshoot or send replacement hardware so everything fits the way it should.

Great sleek look with easy installation
I haven’t installed a new fan in several years. I was amazed that Smafan had come up with a way to easily install the fan. Very sleek design with no pull cords hanging down. The fan is operated through the remote. No need to balance the blades. A very well thought out design.

Customer service and fans are top notch
Ordering, shipping and delivery was all smooth. Fans were well packaged and easy to install. The remotes paired easily. One tip I’d suggest is if you buy multiple, install and pair with the remote one at a time. We had a couple remotes connect to the other fan by mistake and had to start pairing process over. This is new construction so the fans were installed long before we could use them. As I setup the mobile app to get my home automation devices discoverable one fan failed to be found. Smafan quickly sent me a replacement PCB which we swapped out and now it all works correctly. We’ve purchased 4 fans from Smafan and they are all quiet and responsive.

Great, modern looking fan
Great, nice looking fan. BRIGHT light with different color options-nice feature. My only small quibbles would be; the fan speed does not resume to last speed when turned off, also the instructions (diagrams) were a little vague a times.
But other than that I would buy more!

I can not imagine how you could improve the shopping experience with Smafan. Everything was perfect, all of my questions were answered quickly, and professionally. My order was shipped out the next day, I was provided all the tracking information and was informed when my fans were delivered. Returns will cost you, even if you never opened the box!
The 52" fan arrived but our electrician said it was too small for the size of the room. The box remained unopened. We had chose to get a larger fan. I informed the company that I am returning the fan and the box is unopened. I was told that the shipping fee is my responsibility. I had to pay $76 for shipping it back. The fan cost $188. I'm extremely unhappy about returns not being covered by the company especially when the box is being returned unopened. I will never buy any item from Smafan again.

I completely understand your frustration, and I’m really sorry you feel disappointed with this experience.
According to our return policy, if a return is not related to a product defect or quality issue, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. This policy applies equally to all of our customers to keep things fair and consistent.
Therefore, since you wanted to return the item because "it was too small for the size of the room.", according to the policy, you should be responsible for the return shipping cost.
Additionally, we can provide a return shipping label if our customers request. In this way, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount. It will be relatively cheaper than the shipping cost that the customers would pay for returning it themselves.
I am sorry if there is any confusion or misunderstanding.

I checked your order placed on September 23, and we shipped it out promptly on September 24. According to USPS tracking, the package was last updated on September 29, and unfortunately, there were no new scans after that for several days. However, after you left your review, USPS finally updated the tracking earlier today, confirming that your package is still in transit.
This delay is entirely due to USPS’s shipping issue, which is not typical and certainly not what we want for our customers. We’re reaching out to USPS to understand what caused the delay and will continue to monitor your package’s progress closely.
We truly hope your order arrives soon.
