We booked our Peru Vacation through SAvactions in Fla. Martha(our agent) was great. She handled everything and made some suggestions about staying over in Cusco. We flew. From Lima to Cusco and stayed over night. We then took the Hiram Bingham( think Orient Express) to Macchu Pichu. We stayed and hiked MP. Don't miss it. We stayed overnight and had a fabulous lunch at the Inka Terrace Cafe at the Zinka Terrace Inn. We headed back by the Vistadome train. They even had a show aboard. Afterward we stayed in Cusco another night and back to Lima in time to catch a cruise. Martha and the agents she used were on time and handled everything without a hitch. We recommend them very highly.

Every guide was super knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Wow, everything was so easy, not a single mishap. Even the transportation was clean, comfortable, and easy viewing.

They contracted with a trustworthy local company that met all my needs .

South American Vacations surpassed our expectations for our long-anticipated 10-day trip to Chile (Santiago, Atacama Desert and Easter Island). Everything went smoothly, from drivers and guides arriving promptly to wonderful hotels. The hotels booked for us were well situated (the all-inclusive outstanding Alto Atacama Desert Lodge and Spa in San Pedro de Atacama, the Hotel Torremayor Providencia in Santiago, and O'tai Hotel in Easter Island). All of our guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Most importantly, South American Vacations learned what our interests were and then planned our trip so that all three of us (husband, wife and adult daughter) were able to experience what was most important to each of us. I highly recommend South American Vacations to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in South America!

While working in Chile we decided to visit Easter Island and Machu Picchu. We used SAVacations to arrange our travels.. They booked airline reservations, hotels and tours.All went according to plan. We chose 3 star hotels which were great. We were met at all airports and tour guides were always on time. We would definitely use SA Vacations again for travel to South America.

Martha helped us create our custom trip to Peru and through at least 3 different itineraries, with many changes in dates and locations. Throughout the 4-week planning process, she was professional, responsive and very helpful. Travelling at Christmastime can be difficult, but Martha was able to create a package that was not over-the-top expensive, but still 4-5 star.
The tour guides (Viajes Pacifico) on the ground in Peru were also fantastic. They were knowledgable, friendly and were well-respected among the locals. We felt like we were treated like VIPs all the way.
