Gary Thompson from Ross Care is outstanding. He always arrives when he says he will, is friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. No matter what problem my son’s wheelchair has, Gary always manages to fix it—even issues that others have found too difficult.

He genuinely goes above and beyond to help, and it’s clear he really cares about the people he supports. His kindness, reliability and expertise make such a difference to our family, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Ross Care is lucky to have him.

Thanks to Sean Taylor, Ross Care engineer, for delivering our son’s wheelchair; ensuring the chair was delivered and setup in readiness for our holiday the following day, which we greatly appreciate. Sean took the time to ensure our son was very comfortable in his new chair and his patience, empathy, and understanding with our son made the whole process so much easier. We truly appreciate the care and professionalism shown and would also like to extend our thanks to the whole Ross Care team for their support throughout.

Gary Thompson came today 22/06/2026 to sort my electric wheelchair the battery's were draining so he happily put me some new ones on ans its working perfect now he's very happy friendly ans very welcoming a valued member to your staff thanks Gary 😊

Terry was very polite and made sure all was done that he could. Terry called before the visit, and came back later on in the day to complete the repair when parts were available

Rosscare engineer Andy Shipton is a superstar. A bolt in my backrest broke and a part was ordered but not in time for my upcoming holiday. Andy came out and worked out a solution so I could go on holiday without the fear of my backrest breaking. It’s not the first time he has helped me and he’s a credit to the company. Don’t ever let him leave!

This review is based on Andy Shipton - Ross Care engineer only. He is a genuinely lovely bloke, very knowledgeable about the equipment, turns up when he is supposed to and gets the job done. If only the rest of the service was as good as this!

Simon rang before he arrived to check the location of the wheelchair users. He was able to fix both wheelchairs and looked at a third. Simon was very helpful and gave us an update on other jobs. We had another visit since then and he brought a part, anticipating the need. He was able to fix the problem and make a further adjustment to reinforce the part that kept failing.
We are very pleased.

The girls in the office are brilliant Lucy, Jane & G rex and I always get John fixing my stuff can't fault him. Hes a little cherub.
