Excellent communication and professionalism through the entire process

After contracting with another well-known debt recovery agency, we were left in a difficult position — they successfully collected our bad debt but then failed to pass the funds on to us.

Two weeks ago, we met with John from Nightfox, who explained that this situation, unfortunately, is not uncommon and assured us they knew exactly how to handle it, having dealt with the same company several times before.

We agreed to proceed, paid their standard fee, and within 48 hours Phil contacted me to advise that Nightfox had visited the owner of the other debt collector and secured a commitment for repayment. We’ve since been advised that the first payment has been received and will be passed to us shortly, with further funds expected soon.

I am early on in the process. My initial enquiry was responded to promptly and I got to talk to the manager (on a Saturday). I am a creditor with a CCJ against an individual, we had a good discussion where I could share my information on the individual, and NI&R were able to provide further information. Following that I was advised on the process and any difficulties there might be in recovering monies from the individual given that he had further CCJs.
