After a bit of research prices and considering mum’s diagnosis we opted to hire the stairlift for 6 months with a pay as you go monthly option at the end. The installation date was quick and there were several tests to ensure it was working before leaving. Demonstrated to us and very polite. Would recommend.

Had a stairlift fitted today by Michael Wheeler, very impressed. He was polite, friendly and very professional. Mike worked quietly and in a professional manner, he was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Explained everything clearly as well as pointing out any safety hazards. He watched it being used by mother-in-law and talked her through it step by step, but making sure she didn’t feel rushed, and understood everything. Mike from Mobility 1st went above and beyond with relocating a stairlift from my uncle's property to my mum's home when it was urgently required. Initial enquiry made on the Friday, collected it from Manchester on the Monday, striped down and checked it over then installed at my mum's in Forest of Dean on the Wednesday.
