We encourage you to invite anyone you would like to be a part of the decision, such as family members or friends. Installer Damien Roche
Installer Damien Roche was with us yesterday installing a stairlift. There were a number of logistical problems which Damien overcame and extended his working day to make sure the lift was installed that day but on the other side of the staircase. He was a consummate professional in every way with extreme attention to detail. Always courteous and polite and never patronising, I felt he went above and beyond the call of duty in our case. I cannot recommend him highly enough and Mobility First are lucky to have him.

Quote given without any sales pitch or pressure to buy. Given my father’s situation, they said they may be able to organise a stairlift installation quicker than the usual week turnaround. After reviewing the quotes from the different suppliers we decided to proceed with mobility 1st. They managed to get the stairlift installed in under a week & my father is very happy to keep his independence. Can’t fault this company at all-from Kate in the office to Tom the installer. A refreshing change to deal with a genuine company & would fully recommend

My 87yr old mum was stuck upstairs when…
My 87yr old mum was stuck upstairs when her old stairlift gave up the ghost. We couldn't get anyone who was prepared to fix it and Mobilty First came to rescue. It was about 7pm when we contacted them and within 24hours they had sorted her with a reconditioned stairlift. From start to finish they made a stressful situation better and one month on we have almost forgotten the bad experience with the old one. Great service, friendly staff and we can't praise them highly enough.

Very Happy Customers
We were very impressed with the professionalism of Tom Walker who initially came out to explain the service and show us photos of the stair lifts. He was very clear and fair re pricing details. His explanations were very clear and he answered our questions appropriately. Tom followed up by fitting the stairlift four days later, explaining clearly and ensuring that my husband tested it and understood everything he needed to know to operate the stairlift. It was a pleasure to have such a knowledgeable, respectful and pleasant young man in our home who instilled confidence in the product and the company.
Initial contact and confirmation was with Kate by telephone. Again, we were very impressed with her professionalism, respectful and helpful manner.
We would not hesitate to recommend this company and its product to anyone else.

From the very first call to Kate, to the installation, I cannot praise Mobility 1st enough. Straight away I felt that this was a company I could trust. Urgently needed a stairlift for my mother, thought of rental at first, rang Kate/Ricky on the Wednesday, sent measurements, got a fitting date of the following Tuesday !!! .... Tom the fitter did an exceptional job, decided that their prices were so reasonable, I bought it outright. I wouldnt waste your time and effort ringing anybody else, their price and service is second to none.... make one call... save money, save time... ring Mobility 1st

Moblity 1st - First Class Serice
My wife and I have lived in our current three bedroom two storey house for 58 years. We put everything we had into buying the house when we were in our mid twenties, with myself juggling two jobs to pay the mortgage. It is obvious we loved it here and never ever thought about having to leave, until forced to do so by circumstances.
Just over a year ago my wife developed balance and mobility issues resulting in several falls. To make matters worse she developed arthritis in her knees, making tackling the stairs extremely difficult and hazardous. We decided a stairlift would give us at least a few more years here.
FollowingCustomers' Reviews we opted for a used lift from Mobility 1st. The service we received was first class, with everything explained as we went along, and an installation date fixed. Two days before I had a text giving a rough ETA between 0800 and 1000 hours, for the fitter to come. On the morning of the installation I received another text giving a more precise time of 0915. The fitter arrived five minutes before that, following an almost three hour journey. His name was Tom, a very likeable, personable young man, with 15 years experience under his belt. After providing him with a well deserved cup of coffee, we left him to it. He told us it might take about two hours to install. Just a shade over an hour later he called us to say the installation had been done. The Lift was superb, looking a if it were brand new. He ran through all the details with us, and got my wife to try the lift out, which was extremely simple.
We found the whole experience absolutely faultless, with everything explained in detail. We have to say we are delighted with our 'new' stairlift, and can only give 100% marks for everything, the equipment and service.

Incredibly Friendly Professional and Respectful Company
We recently had a stair lift installed by Mobility 1st and honestly cannot thank them enough. Tom who carried out the installation, was incredibly friendly, professional and respectful throughout. He treated my Mother with such dignity and respect and was also very considerate of her home.
The job itself was extremely challenging to say the least, but thanks to Toms expertise and determination, he managed to complete it successfully. Seeing my Mum come downstairs in her chair lift for the first time was such an emotional moment for me.
My Mother had 4th stage Lung Cancer, and being able to get downstairs again has truly given her back some quality of life.That means more to us than words can express.
