So so happy with my order. It looked incredible & tasted even better! I had a slight issue with delivery addresses getting mixed up (my fault) and the team sorted it so quickly and made sure my order arrived at the correct address and in time. Would 100% recommend such a lovely business!

Late but offered a refund
Ordered cake card for the 9th of October. It didn’t arrive. On the 12th I received an email asking if I had received it and I said I hadn’t, I was then told the cake would be sent out straightaway and even thought it was late I was willing to give it a chance but the cake did not arrive till late afternoon on the 16th and my recipient had already left for a week long holiday in the morning, the use by date on the cake is the 20th so it could not be gifted. I contacted Mailbakes politely to ask for a refund as I had to order another present as the cakes did not arrive and have just been ignored.
After seeing my review Mail bakes did contact me and offered me a full refund and a voucher towards another purchase so I am happy that they rectified the situation. I would probably try using them once more as I do like the idea behind sending cake in a card but would just hope they could sort out prompt delivery next time.

Silly packaging
Cake tasted great but the packaging is silly. Cake is all stuck to the cardboard sheet and won't come off nicely.

It was just OK. Cakes a lot thinner than expected. Packaging was damaged/squashed. The card is just printed on the box. Cakes tasted mediocre. Wouldn’t use them again I’m afraid.

I ordered the mailbox cake, unfortunately it was not delivered in time for the occasion. 3 days late to be precise. I felt that when I contacted them they did nothing to track where the order was. I will not be ordering from here again.
