Cake a suprise
Never heard of these before but saw them online. Thought I would see what they were like and sent my Nan a two slices of cake and a card in the post. The delivery was good and came a day early I believe but that was fine. She was thrilled, it was a lovely suprise and said the cake was delicious. Really pleased I found this company and the little bit of joy you can send when you can't be there. Would definitely recommend.

Bought for a good friend who has recently had a baby, she was feeling very emotional as to be expected. So I sent her and her mum this beautiful cake card to enjoy together. The cake was squashed into plastic…
The cake was squashed into plastic wrap. It broke when you tried to remove it from the cardboard sheet. Cake was stale and pretty much tasteless

Disappointing taste, lovely artwork
The picture print out was genuinely beautiful and my mum (the recipient) loved it. However, that was the only good thing. I ordered 2 slices of cake which cost 24.97 (including delivery) and the cakes did not taste fresh at all and had a weird artificial taste. I don't know if it was a bad batch but for the price you pay, it's 100% not worth it. I definitely wouldn't order again which is a shame because the artwork on the card was so lovely and the whole mail bake concept is really good.

Wouldn’t recommend as my friend had the wrong order delivered. Subsequently, I messaged the company and have been blanked ever since. Customer service is awful and I wish I had shopped elsewhere!

The cakes looked great but ….
The cakes looked great. Packaging cellophane a little fiddly to get off without taking cake with it. Cakes didn’t taste light and fresh to be honest. Didn’t taste stale but didn’t taste super fresh, as advertised. The choc Bruce cake not choc choc choc in your face as expected. The vanilla lemon ok. Nothing special. I had ordered the same for my sister and she said they were nice. I wanted to taste for myself. I do bake myself so am very picky and fussy with cakes and tastes and lightness etc etc
