Lovely cakes but could be fresher.
I ordered these for my son’s birthday. Speedy delivery and beautifully packaged. The flavours were amazing but the sponge was not very soft, which was a shame. We opened them the day after delivery but they tasted as though they had been sitting around for a while. It didn’t spoil my experience too much, hence the 4 stars.

Delicious slices of cake.

Great for gluten-free cakes!
I've used Sponge several times now for gluten-free birthday cakes. They're so delicious and such good value, it's just not worth making your own.
Delivery is always reliable and efficient, and the cakes stay fresh for ages (not that they usually hang around for long in our house!).
In the rare event that we have had leftovers we can't eat, the cakes freeze really well.
The only other feedback I'd give is that I wish they used free-range eggs.
Otherwise, great!

Incredible GF Brownies
Ordered these as an extra treat for my
grown up sons birthday. Finding decent GF options can be tricky and I wanted something delivered as i wasn't able to see him on the day. The brownies were amazing! He loved them!

Good chocolate birthday cake
Good strong chocolate flavour. Light sponge, and an attractive covering of chocolate flakes made this a very good cake for celebrating a birthday. Personally I found the cream between the layers too soft/light for my taste.

Daughter loved the cake
Daughter loved the cake. Only 4 stars because Amazon courier left it on its side so came out a tad messy. Would def use again, just choose a different courier.

Red velvet - ruby wedding perfection
Ordered the large red velvet cake for my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary and everyone loved it. Soft fluffy sponge, smooth buttercream and deliciously well-balanced. Will definitely order again for the next occasion (or maybe just because!).
