Zoe attended my home and took me through the whole application with kindness and patience. Helping me by explaining all questions clearly. requested repair Sunday and was completed on Monday,I think that's very good service,my shower now works even better than it did in the 1st place!

Prior to Covid, Magna's repairs and customer service was excellent. But in the post pandemic era the service has continued to get progressively worse and worse. Even basic repairs usually involve a 2+ month wait, if you want something involving Plumbing or Windows/Doors the wait is often double that. We have had several of their workers complain to us that Magna need to hire more staff, that they have reduced staff numbers too low and the backlog is just getting longer and longer.

When the worker does turn up they are almost always friendly and professional, but they are also clearly not properly briefed about the job. Even when you give Magna extensive details about the issue, complete with photographs; the men will often be sent out lacking the parts they need to complete the repair as this information is not passed on to them or the schedulers having given them insufficient time to complete it. The result being that they often end up having to assess the job and rebook for another worker to come out with the correct parts, this wouldn't be too bad if the wait was shorter the second time around; it isn't. If you had to wait 3 months for the first visit 99% of the time you have to wait another 3 months for the second visit.

The workers are also limited at times in what they are allowed to do. Our backdoor has been faulty for five years, they have been out 4 times to "fix" it, but given the limited amount they are allow to do and allotted time for the best they can often do is a patch job which will alleviate the issues with the door for a few months before once again needing to book another repair for a related issue. Each time the workers have told us the door really needs completely replacing, but despite them recommending that to Magna each time, it has never happened.

Most recently a shower repair took 3.5 months from first reporting before the plumber came out, he then had to assess it and book a return trip which took another 3 months(much of that time without any working shower in our property as it had stopped working entirely by that point). He told Magna this, as well as telling them we have people in this property with existing skin conditions that require a shower to keep them managed effectively as standing washes at the sink do not suffice meaning this delay literally contributed to a decline in physical and mental health.

He was great and really genuine and manage to fix every thing

the plumber was great and did a excellent job also fixed my toilet as well.it just a shame that i took nearly a month for someone to come and do the repair

Worked carried out was outstanding sadly other problems with wall are being over looked by magna The contractor exposed massive defects in the wall that Magna said after 4 visits didn’t exist . Same wall is moving by back door sadly had to raise another complaint . Can’t fault contractors

I would like to wish the abandoned caravan around the back of Gore Cross Way in the parking area behind the flats a very Happy 5th Birthday of still being here.

I hope the rats that are infested in you are living a good life, and that mother nature is shielding you with her vegetation for another year.

I'm hoping that eventually a blue plaque will be fixed to it, covering the faded Magna notices of years gone by, but sadly the council won't do this this as it's 'Magna' land.

But wait, more celebrations are due...I'd like to wish a very Happy 2nd Birthday to the caravan's neighbour...

I was hoping the Magna housing officer who knows about these treasured items would be here to maybe celebrate with a cake, or even some bunting? But sadly not.

There is still time as a third vehicle has arrived, an abandoned 4 x 4 truck, aww this little beauty is only 6 months old, a mere babe in the rotting vehicle status.

You can only imagine the sheer delight of the residents as they view this every day.

The advisor that Magna sent to my home on 22/06/26 was very thorough and I found understanding; I was able to explain what had been happening and the various ways my problem was treated (with negative results) she was a good listener and I have hopes she will be able to find some solution to my problem even though she was (at this time) unable to find an answer; at least I felt at ease that she went away with this on her mind and that her time had not been wasted and my problem taken seriously. She also saw the way I have had to struggle living in a property that was designed for a dead indoor wheelchair user that we (my son and I) are not and we need help in that capacity. Thank you your visit was very much appreciated.

Magna have yet again cancelled clearing my Gutters, thats the 4th time they have Cancelled, Im really disgusted with Magna, they seem to think that we are here for there convienience,

My boiler was serviced and after the engineer left I had no hot water I rang Magna repairs and spoke to Tess who made me feel at ease immediately, she said that she would put the job through as an emergency and within 30 minutes another engineer called who was very polite arrived and the job was sorted .Tess is a credit to Magna , many thanks again
