Long wait and very expensive. Was told 20-25 minutes but locksmith took nearly 1.5hrs to arrive, not ideal with a 2 year old. We have a basic lock but cost to replace came to over £500. The 'transparent pricing' on the website didn't include an additional £95 call out fee or £60 labour to replace lock and the cheapest lock offered was £125. Would not use again

They came quickly and did a good job, however, you should expect to pay a much higher price than initially quoted. I was told £90 to £120 to replace a yale cylinder lock including parts and labour. When they came out the price was £220 including £162 for an ERA lock (didnt have Yale in brass) that you can buy online for £30. It was a simple job.

I got locked out of my home on a Sunday at 08:00 am and I had to go to the airport! I called londonlocksmith24h and Andrew was there 20 minutes later. Lifesaver. Highly recommended.

Quick and efficient service. Emergency Locksmith arrived within 40min after being locked out. He explained the options and got the door open by drilling and changed the lock. £490 for call out and new lock installed. Not cheap but got the job done quickly and professionally. Would use again and recommend to friends and family.

Guy turned up and said the lock was broken - i kept the lock and have had advice that it wasnt. He then started to change locks that were not broken - i made him put them back and changed a lock that cost 60 online - charged double labour for come things and when challenged he removed but was intimidating - paid over 600 for one lock change 30 mins work. Avoid these charlatans at all costs.

Peter was brilliant, fast knowledgeable and effecient. He was with me within 20 minutes and had my issue fixed within 30 minutes. Would definitely use him again 👍

I contacted this company as my lock was spinning and no longer working.
John attended to fit a new lock I purchased. When removing the hardware, he went above and beyond identifying damage to the lock and fixing it for me. He successfully replaced the lock and also advised that a new mechanism may be required as it was slightly catching

I have been locked out for 3 days, hoped I’d find spare key. Called locksmith and John was with me within half hour, an in less than 5 mins in my flat. He was polite and explained all costs and what he was doing even advised me on safety. Top notch service.

Requested an emergency out of hours locksmith.
Came to open the door, didn’t give any indication on price with website saying £75 for call out potentially £120 for complicated locks.
Was told he had to drill the lock to gain entry and that he had worked on doors within the building before. Didn’t give an indication of price or give a figure, although he will have known as he had said he’d worked in the building before.
Opened the lock and then explained he’d have to replace the cylinder.
Again, no mention of price or anything before completing the works.
Was then told ‘‘this will
be expensive’’ once works had been completed, bill added up to £807 and a card machine was put in front of me with the locksmith stood in my hallway.
On the bill it is noted that there is a call out fee, a fee to drill the lock, a fee for a new cylinder and a fee to install the new cylinder.
Very misleading, do not instruct to do any works without clear pricing.
Clearly know what they’re doing and hiking prices extortionately.
Have raised a formal complaint requesting money back, awaiting response.

The locksmith refused to unlock door, claiming that the whole lock needed to be replaced. Then tried to charge us 3x the price of the fee listed on the website (more than £300!) for a very standard door. The locksmith felt very scammy and tried to pressure us when we were not happy about the price. Then he wouldn’t leave until we paid him a significant call-out fee. I suppose he felt he could take advantage of us being locked out on a 30+ degree hot summer day. Back inside now - and very glad I didn’t get pressured into his scam. Wish I had have advocated for myself more though - I regret being pressured into paying him anything to leave my house.

If in the tower hamlets area, I would recommend using E14 Locksmith Tower Hamlets. They were quick, cheap, professional, and not scammy.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service! John is friendly, professional, and got straight to work. He was incredibly quick and efficient, but never rushed the job. What I really appreciated was that he explained everything he was doing along the way, so I knew exactly what was happening and felt completely at ease.

The whole experience was stress-free, and the results were perfect. It’s so refreshing to find someone who genuinely cares about doing a great job and providing excellent customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and will definitely be recommending him to family and friends.

We had an issue with a bedroom lock then our front door. Both work perfectly like new.
