Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Mix up
The cakes were delicious but unfortunately, my order was mixed up. When we opened the box it was clear that the content was different to what was ordered. It was too late to go back to the shop.

The service is quick and reliable. It’s always busy, so I understand it can’t feel very personal. The staff are polite and efficient. The price is very reasonable and the written messages requested on the cakes are very professional.

I ordered the cupcakes that pictures…
I ordered the cupcakes that pictures would be printed of my kids. They gave me a strange person, and when I asked if it could be rectified they just gave me their card to complain, not even a refund or anything. They ruined my kids birthday party and very insensitive!

The packaging of the product and…
Your answer is not convincing.Rainbow cake is mostly bought for children and its sugar content should be less. Excessive sugar is very dangerous for children. This taste happens when you add corn syrup to products.It was too sweet. The reason I bought a cake from Lolas cupcakes was because I thought it wouldn't be sugary like other cheap cakes. I dont recommend this product.

I am sorry you felt the cake was too sweet.
Our Rainbow cake is one of the sweetest cakes we offer as it does have a higher buttercream content than the regular layer cakes. This cake has 5 sponge layers, each one sandwiched with buttercream and jam. Our regular layer cakes consist of two layers, so there isn't as much frosting used.
I would recommend trying any of our cream cheese or mascarpone frosted cakes as these are not as sweet as buttercream.

We love the chocolate raspberry cake…
We love the chocolate raspberry cake that I had for my Birthday.
It was super yummy and one of our favourite cake from Lola. And the staff was extremely efficient , friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend to buy any cakes from Lola especially for a special occasion like birthdays.

Lovely cupcake and hot chocolate
I bought a hot choclate and cupcakes for my son for his birthday. It was really moist and actually tasted fresher than normally shopped bought cakes. The staff were friendly and polite and did not rush you. The only thing I would comment negatively is the price of the cupcake that I was told I need to pay extra for as it was "personalised." If a cake is personalised then it would say what I wanted it to say that had direct meaning to me. The cake was already displayed with happy birthday so sorry but I disagree with the inflated pricing for something on display. Other than that, I really enjoyed both my hot chocolate and cup cake.
