Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. I now find that the cakes and cupcakes are not tasting as great anymore and are not as moist as cakes and cupcakes should be. I especially think for the prices they should be tasting great. Also the box that the cupcakes are placed in for takeaways are not useful at all and don’t hold the cupcakes very well. When I buy them which is usually from the Lola’s in Selfridges I use plastic containers from other bakery with the lids. Something else which I find that is not very helpful is how the cakes and cupcakes are store in an open class display setting. There is no closer whatsoever which leaves for flies and open air or other things to reach them.

We are sorry to hear that your cupcakes did not taste as moist as previous occasions and appreciate your feedback regarding the takeaway boxes and the stores cupcake and cake displays.
I would like to assure you that all of our stores receive fresh cakes and cupcakes each morning, and all of our products are made from scratch and handcrafted by our bakery team, who take great pride in using high-quality ingredients to create these fresh cakes and cupcakes.
Our takeaway boxes have been perfected and are made to measurement to best ensure your cupcakes hold well to avoid damages, however as they are fragile they do require delicate care and handling during transport, that said, i will be sure to pass your feedback to the relevant team to review so we can improve this aspect going forward.
We appreciate your concerns regarding the lack of doors on the cupcake display at this location. Please be assured this has been logged with management to review so we can minimise potential contact with flies or other third party contact on our products.

My favourite trest
Lola’s cakes are delicious and I have to visit when I’m in London. My favourite is the red velvet cupcake but I had the lemon flavour on my most recent visit and it was also delicious.

Excellent service
Excellent service. Went to buy a bento cake as a last minute gift for a friend's graduation. Staff asked if I'd like a small message to be written on the bento cake. I didn't know that this was possible, so it was very nice of the staff to offer this. Lovely chocolate cake and excellent service, went beyond my expectations, thank you 🙂

Easy to order and collect
Easy to order and collect. I got the Vanilla cake (14 slices). It was too small for 14 slices, I got around 10 decent slices. Cake was moist, delicious and very sweet, we went for no Jam which im glad I did.

Birthday cake all berries chocolate
The ordering was easy
Cake was ready in time
Pick up was easy and fast
The box is so thick and strong, had no worries of cake moving or getting ruined
It tasted divine, afew people asked for 2nd serving. It looked beautiful. Just one thing i would say is I would prefer the height lower and the cake wider to ease the cutting.

Fantastic cake and easy ordering
The Frozen themed birthday cake was gorgeous and a hit with everyone, especially the 5 year old birthday girl. So many parents liked it that several asked where it came from and purchased it for their own children's parties. We've seen 3 of this cake in the past 2 week!

This is not the first time that we have ordered from Lola’s. We have tried almost all kinds of cupcakes, Vegan Birthday cake and recently we tried the Velvet Birthday Cake. OMG, it was sooo delicious, the cake was moistured enough and the cream on top was so delicious as per all other products.
