We were so fortunate to have Alison Wren as our adviser.
Alison was excellent and took time to make sure we understood highly technical matters .
In addition , and very importantly , her manner and approach were top class and we felt very comfortable talking with her.

Firstly, the process was conducted in a very timely manner, which was very welcome at the time, which was down to Mr Ashley Quate, however, their valuation of my property was far lower than the market value, which in turn increased the interest on my lifetime mortgage

I was very impressed with the help and assistance I received from Laura. I felt I had time to make my decision and the whole experience explained in a very concise, professional and friendly manner.

Dont bother, wanted an interest rate for equity release. After three weeks they still want information we havn't got (redemption statement from existing lender). Too many hoops to jump through to get basic info.

Have been dealt with by Laura re the details of converting an old pension pot from Aviva into an annuity with a better offer than Aviva could provide. Laura has very patiently and efficiently dealt with all the details, with the result that we had the best offer from Legal & General, which is now being processed. we were also dealt in the initial stages by Andrew who also gave excellent advice and service.

I went through a very thorough process, which made me focus on my motives and needs. Hub Financial Services, for SAGA, are aware of their responsibilities and they have created a well co-ordinated service involving three organisations. This begins with contact from a Financial Adviser. Andy is very knowledgeable and supportive, and discussed my financial aims and all available options to help me achieve them, including whether equity release was the best solution in my circumstances. He was there for me all the way through and, if needed, into the future. I chose Saga because it has a good reputation and I never had any cold calling or junk mail after my initial enquiry, as I did with another provider. Also their option of repaying the loan within six months with no penalty, is reassuring, if unlikely to be taken up. There was never any pressure applied and queries were always answered quickly and professionally. There is a lot of paperwork and it’s well worth the time to read it thoroughly, as it’s a big decision with consequences on both sides of yes or no. I reached the right decision for me and it has made my future feel a lot lighter.

Thomas, the agent who managed my call could not have been more polite, helpful or professional. He has excellent communication skills and the information he shared was so easy to understand. It is people like him who make all the difference to customers like myself, who are seeking information and clarity. Definitely a gold standard experience.
