Overpayment of $675 by employee's mistake
After I received an overpayment of $675 by Canada Life Insurance unilaterally and unlawfully terminated all my insurance services on October 13 without any prior notice. On October 27, I received a notice letter; I called the company, and we agreed by telephone that I would return the amount by issuing a bank check. My grievance is that you suspended all my insurance benefits and services for this two-week period without my knowledge, even though Canada Life caused the overpayment mistake; I was neither at fault nor informed. This unprofessional and unlawful conduct suspended all claims—mine, my family's, and those of my healthcare providers—without any notification, by phone or in writing. Furthermore, my employer made all premium payments on time and was left unaware of the suspension. In addition, I had to pay for preparing a draft bank cheque and registered post costs, without any fault of my own. They must pay full compensation for the damage you caused.

Helpful advice and on time
I only have a small pension with Canada Life but I have always found them helpful and efficient. I have retired to Spain and prompt tax returns are essential. Canada Life help in this respect.
