Forget the 5 years warranty
I bought a sofabed in september 2024. I moved in the new house by December and by Easter it is broken. As they advertise 5years warranty on frame as their product are build to last (to quote the product description on Amazon I contacted Honeypot UK and a certain Jasmin sent me this reply:
am so sorry to hear there may be issues with your Kris Sofa Bed Grey Universal Corner.
As your furniture is now older than 6 months, in order to progress your complaint you will need to arrange for the products to be inspected by an individual furniture repair company.
We highly recommend using C***** Group.
They will inspect the furniture for manufacturing faults and provide a full report on their findings.
You can either contact them directly or we can book the inspection for you. If you would like us to book it for you we will need to collect the inspection fee which is £72 inclusive of VAT (Retailer discounted price).
Booking directly through C*** Group may come at a higher cost.
If any manufacturing faults are found, we will at first attempt a repair. If a repair is not possible we will look into alternative options to resolving any outstanding issues.
In the event of manufacturing faults being discovered from the inspection, Honeypot Furniture will reimburse the cost of your inspection fee. In the event of an invalid claim, we will not reimburse the cost of the inspection fee.
If they were stating that together with the 5 years warranty I was not even considering this company. That is very far from a decent customer service

"Following your concerns, I have escalated the matter to my manager. As a gesture of goodwill and in recognition of the inconvenience caused, we will cover the full cost of the C*** inspection.

We have sent out an independent third-party technician, and following the inspection, we are now in the process of repairing your sofa in line with your 12-month manufacturing guarantee.
We would also like to clarify that our 5-year structural frame guarantee remains valid and is detailed within our terms and conditions on our website. In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, when an issue is reported after 6 months, an independent inspection is required to confirm whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect. This helps ensure that all claims are handled transparently and in accordance with industry standards.
As a small, family-run business, we genuinely value all of our customers and take pride in providing both quality products and attentive service. Our goal is always to provide comfort, contentment, and pride in your home, and we are fully committed to ensuring that this matter is resolved to your satisfaction.

The couch is amazing and I couldn’t…
The couch is amazing and I couldn’t fault the delivery guys they were so efficient … although it’s not made clear on website about delivery to Scotland but whenever I contacted honeypot they got back to me really quickly and it was only 2 weeks wait which is nothing compared to other companies I looked at! Really happy with the couch though it’s exactly like what’s on the website and super comfy!

I got the Windsor Full back 4 seater…
I got the Windsor Full back 4 seater with footstool and the quality is amazing and so comfortable. It was delivered within 2 days and the delivery guys were very sweet and accommodating considering they delivered the sofa at 6.20am. Unpacked and set up and was out within 15 minutes.
