So after 4 visits from surveyorss and…
So after 4 visits from surveyors and housing managers, I'm still no further forward and the list of repairs just keep getting longer.
How many more surveyors will it take.
Now they are fitting solar panels on the roofs, when they can't even carry out repairs that have been logged with surveyors and housing managers, from chemical and sulphur fumes coming through my house for over a year now...
To A drain cover and drain that's not fit for purpose, since when is a housing manager an expert on drains, the guy doing the drains discovered that the pipe from the bathroom was smashed that led to the main drain so that meant raw sewage had been seeping out for god knows how long, I'm just sorry that I can't show you all photos, because the inspection chamber looked like a puzzle from the crystal maze !!
Damp readings that are just about off the scale, but that doesn't surprise me one little bit since the damp course was failed 5 years ago, which suggests to me the damp proofing has failed too,
How can they say I have no outstanding repairs when they have surveyors reports
My health is not good at the moment, with various issues and none of this is helping me one little bit.
So yeah homegroup don't care about their tenants all they care about is the rent, I got a letter saying my rent is being suspended due to the fact I'm no longer in receipt of the necessary benefit,
Well no dear,this is because I'm crossing over from ESA to state pension.
I don't know how many times I've gave you my DOB etc etc at least 150 times over the past year when I've called...
This time I WILL NOT TAKE THIS POST DOWN..Maybe someone will notify Homegroup of this review..so I think it's safe to say I'm no fan of theirs thank you for taking the time in reading this.
Oh so the bog standard reply.
I'm done with phone calls, I mean just more passing the book really that's all it is..you all know the results from surveyors including your own, who I'm told no longer works for you as he is no longer on your system... I wonder why...
A housing manager telling me that customer service are not allowed to email maintenence managers and telling me I have no pending repairs...Wow just Wow do these people walk around with their eyes shut...

The only progress is that the fumes are getting stronger and since homegroup won't invest in a chemical detector THEN I WILL! .
Soooo after all the surveys that this house has had they send another surveyor without any warning!! now if I was just to up and leave this house without prior warning and believe me I've come so close to doing so on a few occasions these past 5 years believe me!! Homegroup would hunt me down...charge me god knows what..Oh noooo, I wouldn't give you the satisfaction.
Someone needs to take responsibility for this mess and until they do, they know where to find me, maybe another unsuspecting housing manager or another maintenence liason officer or more suggestions I call them or I put a complaint in... I don't think so!!.
Soooo I'm no longer getting solar panels. .now why doesn't that surprise me...I really couldn't care less at this momment if I do or I don't, but it would be only curtesy to inform me, Oh I forgot you's don't do curtesy.
WOW JUST WOW, so homegroup also have health and social care staff now.. OH PLEASE!! You really don't care JS about your tenants..
So I would take that heading down before someone sues for breach of contract along side all the other breaches..

Today moments ago I logged into my home group app and spoke to an agent called babba H ideally impressed by the way they helped me with my 3 issues and sorted quickly and very reassure me I think they need praised for it first time I've actually been happy talking to an home group agent

Wouldn’t give 1 star but have to so can leave review it’s one of worse lamdlords Ever if not the worse don’t return calls after complaints and willing to leave animal feaceas in communal areas for months we pay for cleaning that don’t get done for months And fleas destroying ya property for 2 years and ongoing and piles of rubbish and junk mail hazardous and fire risk and fobbed off when call they cut ya gas off with no notice forcing you to flee as no cooking facilities or hot water with no explanation or warnings and absolutely diabolical while extracting ya rent and tenancy officers not fit for purpose while they all get paid go home to their nice peaceful homes while things digress rapid around what you pay for so however desperate you are for accommodation I strongly recommend avoid homegroup they take your money and leave you worthless I’ve lost brand new carpets beds clothes furnishings it’s been 4 years of hell they can’t even point out the water meters in 4 years stay away keep your mental health healthy otherwise you will end up depressed and stuck in a hovel you can’t get out of and isolated as no one not even family are willing to visit

I always thought live chat's are less trustworthy and at the same time it was difficult to do phone calls with anxiety. But HomeGroup team patiently help with my rent account queries, and politely work towards resolving the issues

Worst company ever. Repairs team? Utterly useless.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Shame you can't give 0 stars.
Due to the a building defeat issue not being fixed in 2023, I have been left with extensive damage to my property, and have only been offer £175 in decorating vouchers to fix the issue. Had the issue been fixed when first reported, this would have covered the tiny damage that was incurred.
Just to add to all of this, I am pregnant and the doctors have said that this issue has likely been causing my blood pressure to rise. So not only do Home Group think its ok to offer pittence for their damage but tenant welfare (Leasehold tenant) they could not care about either.
Avoid ever buying a property from them if they appear as part of a leaseholder agreement.
