Do not expect to be told if your Assistant is unable to attend.....!
Hendercare frequently forgets to inform me when my Assistant can not attend.
They also fail to offer another person in their place, leaving me without help.
Hendercare provide excellent staff to assist you, but their communication between that staff member and attendance is very poor and often non-existent.
I have been a Customer with HenderCare for over 20 years and only stay with them due to the quality of Staff that they employ.

We have lost our helper again and nil has been done to offer a replacement
Our requests to get additional cleaning help in the ceiling with fans and high 10 foot ceilings was agreed to, but in nearly 12 months nil has been done and no one has come or rung - our calls and messages are not returned - a very frustrating service to deal with

The young man who comes to help with the garden is just wonderful. The only problems arise in the relaying of messages etc to and from him to us and vice versa. Please treat him well - I would be very disappointed if he left because sometimes he feels that he just isnt heard.

Adhoc gardening services
Hendercare provide gardening for my father. In a short period he has had 3 gardeners. The first 2 were great but unfortunately only came twice with a long period of time between when my dad had no gardener and no explanation about why they were no longer coming. After briefing the most recent gardener (who arrived late and I'd taken time off work to show him what my father wanted done) he promised to phone me to organise when he'd next come. This did not happen and he did not complete the 3 hours work which he promised to do. It appears that Hendercare have difficulty getting gardeners and keeping gardeners. Perhaps this is the case with all providers but Hendercare should communicate this to me.

I am Doreen daughter and I am writing to say how pleased I am with Hendercare. My 86 mother is in slight decline and wishes to stay in her own home 3 hours drive away from my home.Mums garden although the love of her life has become a challenge to maintain. Luke is the most polite friendly and fantastic help to her on her property. I cannot recommend this service highly enough.
