Just got off the rib ride today with Simon our captain, what a fantastic experience, knowledgeable and safe. Approx 2 hour fast rib ride. Would definitely recommend.

We did the Norway in a Nutshell tour and booked here for the ease of planning vs booking the trip components ourselves. They ensured that connections were seamless and we found they were all well marked. We also booked a snowshoe tour, fjord tour, and sauna for which all guides were amazing. There was an issue with one of the trains (public transport) and when I contacted the company they offered an acceptable solution immediately! I found their customer service to be great and am honestly surprised at the 1 star reviews. 5 stars from me!

Avoid it! It's a scam! They sell overpriced public transportation tickets, there is no signaling during transitions from one type of transport to another, and not a single employee from the company is available to answer questions. You need to rush between connections without time for a proper meal, and if you send emails, they will never reply. I had to complete the last leg in a very uncomfortable bus; they knew about it in advance but didn't communicate the change. This completely ruined the already annoying experience of this tour. I advise you to buy the tickets on your own or pay for a proper tour. You will save a lot of money and will have much more fun.

Beware this Company !
We booked an excursion with fjord tours a day before we were due to arrive in Stavanger.
2hours after booking the captain of our cruise ship announced that due to extreme bad weather we would not now be calling there.
We immediately contacted fjordtours to cancel and they replied basically saying tough you’ve lost your money.
The excursion clearly didn’t go ahead but they just said claim off your travel insurance and “have a nice day “ with a smiley emoji!
We found out that others on our cruise experienced the same problem with this company.
Please heed this warning and DO NOT be conned by them like us.

Rollstuhlfahrer Vorsicht! Die Autofähren bei Fjordtours - hier Kaupanger-Gudvangen durch den Nærøyfjord - sind problematisch! Fjordtours hatte uns vorher auf Anfrage per Mail versichert, dass Rollstuhl kein Problem sei. Darauf hatten wir die Fähre bei Fjordtours gebucht und vorausbezahlt. Beim Verladen erfuhren wir, dass nur eine Ersatzfähre ohne Fahrstuhl fährt - passiert mir bei Fjordtours nicht das erste Mal. Meine gehbehinderte Frau wäre für die 2,5 Stunden Fahrt im Autodeck eingesperrt gewesen. Wir sind daher nicht an Bord gegangen, sondern haben den Landweg genommen. Unser Fahrgeld habe ich von Fjordtours mehrfach zurück erbeten - wir sind nicht einmal eine Antwort wert - schäbig! Soviel Ignoranz bin in ich in Norwegen nicht gewohnt. Die Tour an sich soll sehr schön sein. Also versucht es - aber habt einen Plan B! Und habt genug Geld, um euch darum prellen zu lassen.

PS: Nach weiteren schlechten Bewertungen in verschiedenen Foren und Einschalten des Verbraucherschutzes habe ich nach 4 Monaten doch noch eine Antwort und mein Geld zurückerhalten. Was davon hilfreich war, weiß ich leider nicht. Vielleicht ist auch einfach nur jemand aufgewacht.

Don't trust them! Company without empathy in the face of extreme weather conditions situation in Norway. Unacceptable customer support answer. We can t arrive today (10th august) to Bergen due to well known weather conditions problems in Norway and they are not able to give us a solution. We are only requesting to change the day of our tour because our train to Bergen is cancelled (indeed all trains are cancelled). In addition, buses and flights for today are sold out, so it’s impossible to arrive to Bergen from Oslo. But this situation it’s not our responsability. Unprofessional company!
