Everything was very nice, punctual, tidy, welcoming.

The only flaw wasn't being able to complete the tour on the fjords due to safety reasons (I understood due to possible presence of ice) but it was an incredible experience.

Great experience. Easy booking process and the trip itself was perfect. The best reserved 'seats' on the trains, all tickets in one document and excellent service during the fjord tour, when a different route had to be taken. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely unforgettable experience doing the ‘Norway in a Nutshell’ tour. The booking process was straightforward, easy to navigate the website, tickets for the day were sent 4 weeks in advance and the whole trip went without a hitch. Would highly recommend.

I found this tour on the internet and booked it in 3 clicks. Very easy. The information we received was Cristal clear, everything was well explained in the information we got.
The schedules were respected 100%.

It would be magic, but in our journey the flamban was out of order.
We got the money back, so everything is ok.

Everything wenth smooth. Amazing scenery!

Everything was easy and well organised. Coaches, train and boats were clean and comfortable.

This tour has amazing views all the way. Taking the cruise and see the fjords and the train from Flam to Bergen were the highlights for me. This is a definitively must do if you go to Norway.

Norway in a Nutshell was booked in October 2024 for Feb 2025. Excellent communication and organisation. The trip was truly amazing, stunning scenery and all on time. Do not forget to visit the Viking museum during your stop over at Gudvangen, to ace throw and long bow shoot.

Amazing tour and experience!!

Because I was in a hurry while ordering for car-ferry tickets at Geiranger (for same day trip), I made a mistake. Only noticed after payment gone through. At first 'nothing could be done'. But afterwards fjordtours managed to get a refund for the unused tickets.

We had two days in Bergen after much time and expense to be here. Pre booked Flam and Fjord tour paid again pretty hefty price unguided tour. Just train tics and boat.

Tried to change the date due to bad weather. One day raining the other not.

Absolutely said not interested in helping. No flexibility to change even though unguided.

Disgusting customer support and zero interest in the customer experience.

Don’t book anything with them because if need to change they don’t care.

Me and my daughter booked a tour with Norway in a nutshell. Unfortunately my daughter had a health condition 2 days before the our intended tour. We had to leave the country in a hurry to address this issue. My daughter had high fever and difficulty in breathing. We informed the company 2 days before the tour and provided the medical proof. This unethical company refused to refund approximately $450. At the time of cancelation I suspected that my daughter had contracted COVID. I informed the company that we suspected that my daughter has a contagious medical condition. This company refused to entertain any request for cancelation.
This unethical company was willing to expose other travelers to potential risk of catching an infection. This shows the character of this company

Great tour with Norway in a Nutshell. Serious company owned by the National Railway Vy in Norway. Easy to book my trip and add activities.

we booked 13 tickets with fjordtours.com - Sognefjord in a Nutshell. that was a mistake. the train operator - Vy - had changed trains, thus seat reservations were changed. fjordtours.com never notified us of the change. we put our luggage and sat down on our original reserved seats in car 8. there were other passengers who said they have our seats. it was confusing as we thought our seats were double booked. one passenger told me that Vy had sent her an email notification about the train change and reassigned seats. i sent an email to fjordtours.com, and got a response that our new assigned seats would be in car 2.

why couldn't they let us know in advance instead of 30 minutes after our departure, which had created completely unnecessary chaos onboard? i asked fjordtours.com why we weren't notified? their response? "I hope you have found your seats by now. This is an issue caused by the train operators own reservation system, and it is impossible for us to follow up all customers way ahead. The mistake/changes may happen in between when you made the booking, and the day of travel, so informing everyone is both very time demanding and may even be wrong information we give, since we do not know when this mistake occurs. I hope you understand, and despite this enjoy your tour."

that response was a cop out. if they cannot keep their customers updated just like the train operator could, then they shouldn't be in the business to begin with.

it was challenging for a group of elderly passengers (between 69 and 80 years old to move from car 8 to car 2 with luggage). both train conductors who asked us to move had apologized for the confusion and inconvenience, and both of them said that fjordtours.com was already notified via email about the train change and reassigned seats. and they said that we should be notified as well. the entire confusing and upsetting experience could have been 100% avoided if fjordtours.com made an effort in passing updates/changes from the train operator to the passengers. we sent complaints to fjordtours.com, and they never responded to resolve the negative experience.

you can buy a ticket in advance, but even if you are there 35 minutes before departure, the ferry will be filled with other cars and you might not get a spot. we and others who had booked a ticket were late due to a bicycle race and although loading of the cars was still ongoing, we did not get a spot. there is no line for people who booked a ticket in kaupanger (in geiranger there is one).
additionally, the person at the service hotline said we could try to get on the next ferry with our old ticket. problem was that, although knowing the schedule of their ferry should be their job, we were told that another ferry would leave in the evening. this was not the case, as the main season only started 20 days later. also, we were promised a document for our travel insurance. what they send is a joke (saying that we did a no show). thanks for nothing!
so, in short, it feels like a rip off and bad customer support.
