Great boots, great service
I ordered a pair of boots late on the evening of 22nd December and they arrived one week later - which was earlier than I expected, given the Christmas break. I had a confirmation that they were on the way the day after things opened up after Christmas. The package was well wrapped and the boots are great. It was the first time that I had bought from EYS but I'm very impressed with this Company and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

What a great company!
I ordered my boots yesterday and received them just now. It’s so pleasing to experience great customer service these days. They were also the most convenient price out there, as I was after these boots since last year. Royal Mail was used as a currier, which is the only post company I still trust.

Insoles were shocking quality and…
Insoles were shocking quality and unusable after first use but refused a refund or a replacement even though I provided evidence , if they can’t even send a replacement for a £3 item they clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction whatsoever

I've already replied to a review that you previously left on Google
From the photos, it's clear to me that the insoles are too large for the shoes and are therefore getting squished. As mentioned, I'd recommend removing the original insoles and laying them over the top of the new ones and trimming it to the same size.
A replacement pair of insoles isn't going to help with this. If you need any further help, please let me know.

Hal went out of his way to send me my shoes to Australia. I had found a pair of shoes not in Australia nor in America only in the UK.
elevate your sole was the only shop who would send to Australia.

I'll tell you what made experience great. Not only having found what I wanted in established quality shoe brands, colour, style, quality, comfort, width fitting and, most importantly, of course, a bargain price, the speed of service, secure packaging and purchasing from a GENUINE ethical on-line retailer (also has physical shops, long may they stay in business and will visit when holidaying in Wales) has made me an extremely 120% satisfied customer. Voilà!

I cannot fault the customer service dept of this company. I ordered some boots that after reading the description were unsuitable for me. Customer services responded quickly issuing a refund and amending the description instantly. This has given me confidence in using this company again. I can only say "Well Done" from a happy customer

terrible service
I went to return a pair of boots and was told that they only give credit notes - I was not told this when I purchased them and should have been - I was not happy but said I would have a credit note but was told that without the box I couldn't have a credit note either. The manageress who served me originally asked me if I wanted the box and as it was very bulky I said no - she did not mention to me that I could not return them without a box!! Very bad service - will not shop there again

Customer feedback is an essential part of our business, it helps us to innovate, make improvements and ultimately grow.
You’re correct, that we offer our in-store customers a credit and/or exchange for in-store purchases/returns when said customer has changed their mind, provided that the shoes are in a new and unworn condition. This is not to be confused with online orders that are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations (prev. distance selling regulations). Online customers rarely have the opportunity of trying our footwear & clothing prior to purchase and therefore have 14 days from the date of delivery to let us know of their intention to return the item, and then a further 14 days to get them back to us (in a new and unworn condition). A full refund will then be offered.
This is a standard type of in-store returns policy for many (most) independent businesses. We’re very transparent about our in-store returns policy and have two sets of clear signage at the till area to explain this. It is also written on the receipt.
With regard to returning non-faulty footwear without a box (or other original packaging) this isn’t acceptable to our business and this will be the same for most businesses, including both independents and national chains. Our customers rightfully expect the original box when buying their footwear from us. If customers did change their mind and returned shoes without a box, we would be unable to store them appropriately and unable to sell them at full price, which is why our policy is that original packaging is required and why we always recommend taking the box. The Heavenly Feet ones (as purchased) are particularly good as they come with a carry handle, so there’s no need to have a bag etc.
Your communication with me via email has been both considerate and kind, for which you have my thanks. I hope that this will extend to my hard working staff members, who aim to offer the absolute best service they can whilst working within the policies that I have set out. We always try to help our customers the best we can, whilst also remaining a viable local business.
I hope that you enjoy wearing your new boots, which you have since purchased.
