(King size) After having the mattress for a bit over a year we are sad the mattress has sagged where we sleep. We rotate the mattress frequently to ensure even wear but it's just not held up. It's upsetting because it costs far more than our previous mattress, We made sure our frame was not the issue we don't have the curved slats we have 90×35 pine slats so unsure of what the problem is. To begin with the mattress was great medium to firm and supportive but now I actually prefer to sleep on the couch. The big hump in the middle of my partner and I means we can't even cuddle each other good night without feeling like we are going to roll down a mountain. Currently looking for a new bed again.

Ordered a firm mattress, but definitely not firm

Not the best bed. Base was broken on arrival. 3 weeks to get a new one. Not comfortable as reported.

Following review was contacted by the company to assist, super nice and very helpful. Stated the mattress would be changed and to complete the form. All done and no follow up since and no new mattress:(

I’ve had my Premiere queen (firm) since Dec ‘21 after extensive research. I wanted something Aussie made.

Order support was timely as was the delivery. Only thing missing was a serial number on the mattress which means I can’t register for warranty purposes. Emailed the company and they acknowledged my email but no word since.

The mattress itself is great but took about 4 months to adjust to the firm version. Probably because of the unsupportive mattress I previously had. But it’s all good now and love it.

I think if I was to order again (coming off my previous mattress) I would go for the medium instead of firm. I’m about 80kgs if that helps.

The mattress is made of quality materials and great workmanship.

Overall definitely recommended.

Amazing mattress! Best sleep I have had in a long time but the customer service is terrible. It took more than 1 month to get my mattress and I understand that courier companies are unreliable but I was promised after the 1st call that I would be updated to where my delivery was. As it turned out, it hadn't even left the factory or been produced.

It is always a great experience shopping at Disk&Dawn. Staff always friendly and helpful.

It took over 2 months to get my bed. If you’re in a hurry don’t bother. The bed is okay, but not as good as the reviews. I wish I’d bought a koala mattress instead.

DOCKING A STAR FOR THIS:
I ordered a pillow to go with the new mattress. Delivery was longer than stated on website, but I was ok with that as we ordered during EOFY promo so expected high volumes of orders on their side.
The issue came with me receiving confusing text messages telling me that my order was coming unexpectedly on a day I wasn't in (when I had been told they would contact me ahead of delivery to arrange date). So then I chose a new date and only the pillow turned up. Turns out they sent the pillow via courier, separately to the mattress. Admittedly there were 2 separate emails but I hadn't read the details so thought the 2nd was an updated delivery date rather than the other half of the order. By mid/late July 6 weeks after ordering I received a text or phone call letting me know the mattress would be there in under 1 hour. Luckily I was working from home that day! When I spoke to D&D about this there had been an error. What should have happened was me being informed the order would be ready and I could choose a delivery date, then they would text me in the morning to let me know time slot that day, and also get in touch 30-60 mins before to let me know they would be arriving.

THE ACTUAL MATTRESS REVIEW (deffo 5*):
Despite this very confusing process I am very content with the mattress :) It's so comfortable and at least once a week I wake up and tell my partner how happy I am that we opted for this one. Being more inclined to a medium/firm mattress I worried that the medium would be a bit soft but it's actually perfect, we're both side sleepers and love it :)
If you've made it this far, do yourself a favour and get one, I know it's a lot of money but it's totally worth it!

Receiving this email today asking for a review is typical of how unorganized / disconnected dusk to dawn is. My experience was extremely disappointing and such a shame as i really wanted to give my business to an Australian company. The lack of communication and care started as soon as I placed the order. The website told me the bed would be delivered in 7 days. It took over 3 weeks with no notification. It really went south after I asked for a comfort change. I could go on and on about this experience but in summary, it took dusk and dawn over 6 months of to finally come to an agreement that a refund was the best option ( I did want the bed )

I wanted a bed preferably made locally (Australian) and found Dusk&Dawn. I rang and spoke to a lovely customer service person and decided I liked the friendly and supportive service so I ordered a Queen plush mattress and the base. It was delivered earlier than expected, the delivery persons set it up, and it's very comfortable. I love it.

At this stage , i would have to say this is the best bed mattress i have purchased. The comfort is superb for my needs. No sagging areas in the mattress like previous mattresses. I hope it remains that way.

Fantastic mattress. Delivery good. There was flooding so was delayed but delivery driver contacted me and arranged delivery next opportunity. Didnt get the complementary pillow which I had ticked online but not concerned as I don't try and extract every dollar I can from a sale.

I have to say that when I first slept in the mattress, I thought it a bit firm. However, as a side sleeper, I am now very very happy with it as it holds the body in a comfortable and settled way. This is not obvious at first but it is now easy to see that it is perfect. Highly recommended. Top quality.

This is the first time I bought this brand and gave me unexpected good impression. It is very comfortable and firm to well support every part of body. I did not expect its so comfortable and gave me good sleep every night. It is worth to buy.

Absolutely love my premier mattress! Yes it was the most expensive! However it really does live up to its price tag! I did quite a lot of research looking at many mattresses prior to purchasing this one and found that dusk and dawn was the best fit for me. This mattress Is your 5 star hotel type of mattress. It offers support, comfort and quality.

I suffer from chronic lower back pain. It took me about just over a month to get used to it. You need to give yourself a bit of time to adjust. Now I don't wake up with any back pain and feel refreshed and don't want to get out!!!

The main reason for buying this mattress was due to continually waking up with a sore back with my old mattress. This new mattress is extremely comfortable and no more waking up with a sore back. Excellent mattress.

Mattress arrived quicker than expected. Whole process was simple and quick.

We are so happy we went with Dusk & Dawn! The whole process was so quick and easy and the mattress is perfect!! We went with the medium premiere mattress and it's the perfect balance of soft but firm.

I can't even stress how good it was to deal with the customer service. They were quick to respond and even quicker to send the bed to my parents. I received phone calls to update me on where it was. I received a phone call from the warehouse and the delivery driver which I thought was more personal than receiving a text message/email to say it's on the way. I was thoroughly impressed by that.

I purchased a bed for my parents who are elderly now and whose bones are more fragile now. They were complaining of back pains, especially my dad. My dad was unable to sleep on his current bed because it was too painful. As a result, he was sleeping on wood to help with his pain. I live interstate and upon hearing this I knew I had to invest a lot into a good mattress. The first time my old man laid in it, his words were "I feel like I just laid in heaven". Since then he hasn't been tossing and turning. His sleeping pattern has improved so much and he no longer struggles to get out of bed because his back no longer hurts and the height of the mattress doesn't require him to bend his knees (which hurts him too) to get out of bed, the same goes for my mum. They can't stop talking about their bed and that is all thanks to DUSK and DAWN! I look forward to purchasing a bed for my own husband and I hehe. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Absolute god-send!
