Excellent support from Athina – Got my lost item back safely!
I used Deliverback to retrieve a lost personal item from a hotel at Heathrow Airport after I had already travelled to Aberdeen.
The hotel was initially very difficult to contact and was not replying to emails regarding the collection. However, the support from Deliverback (specifically Athina) was exceptional. She went above and beyond by personally calling the hotel reception to ensure they packaged the item and accepted the shipping voucher.
Thanks to her persistence and the clear communication from the Deliverback team, my item was successfully picked up and delivered to me safely. I highly recommend this service if you leave something behind on your travels.
This service did not work for me
This service did not work for me. I forgot my laptop at Marrakech Airport, Morocco. A friend went to the police station the next day and confirmed that the laptop was there.
I then contacted DeliverBack and made the payment. About two weeks later, they told me:
“We didn’t manage to locate your lost item. The police informed us they were unable to find it.”
I later flew to Morocco myself and went directly to the police station, where I was able to retrieve my laptop without any issue.
Based on my experience, I do not recommend using this service in Morocco—it did not work.
Its not delivery service, just a "find" service.
Beware. And know its rather a black hole once they get your money.
While they call themselves "deliverback", they first charge you only to "locate" your item. It does not include delivery - that is extra. This details was not obvious in the material I read about the service when signing on. Its a fine-print. Once I placed the order, there was no way to cancel it ( I had already located my item, what i needed was delivery service).
The company is useless
The company is useless. Please steer clear. I forgot my item at the airport. After paying them to find it, they did nothing to help. I did majority of the work which included calling and emailing the airport. After I found the item, they refused to ship it back. Saying they only ship items from Greece. They make false claims. Avoid avoid avoid them for your mental sanity.
How hard can it be?
I paid 19 EUR for Deliverback and reported my iPad missing on the first day after my flight to Madeira. Nothing happened, and after 6 days I simply received a message saying the item hadn’t been found. When I contacted the airport Lost and Found in Madeira myself, they already had my iPad and were taking care of it, and I ended up arranging the shipping home on my own.
Overall, I’m not satisfied with Deliverback’s service because they didn’t actually help locate the item or move the process forward, despite charging for it.
UPDATE: I got an email a few months later, explaining the mistake and got a full refund. Appreciate the transparency and responsibility.
Appalling service
Appalling service. Never collected. Never delivered. As a result my property was destroyed. They then Sadie thy would pay for loss. But again lied. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

J'avais oublié mon permis de conduire à l'acceuil d'un hôtel qui travaille avec Deliverback ... Ils m'ont demandé 38,44 € pour le récupérer !
J'ai payé mais le colis s'est apparemment perdu.
J'ai été remboursé après beaucoup de mail des 38,44€ mais pas de la valeur du bien alors que leurs conditions générales de vente stipulent un remboursement de la valeur a hauteur de maximum 100 €.
Je n'ai plus de nouvelles depuis des mois ... Pas sérieux du tout !
Don’t waste your money
I left my AirPods on a plane about 2 weeks ago and while I realized it fairly quickly, the retrieval process has been really tough.
When I came across deliverback, I was excited. Seemed that since I’m able to give as much detail as possible right away, they might have alternative channels to contact the airport than me and retrieve my lost item.
Little did I know but that was not the case. I ended up chasing them, emailing, calling for an update 10 days later, where I was told someone would call me back. No follow up.
The next time I called, it was clear no one had written down the exchange because they were not aware of which airport the item might be at. Just a painful experience.
Finally, after my second phone call they send me an update with yet another website asking to fill out a form on there. I emailed back inquiring more about this website (Troov service?), how it works, if it’s a partner of theirs, if someone antually looks for the items there etc. No response.
The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they answer the phone. Otherwise I am not really sure anyone actually does anything beyond email a lost and found service…

Hatte mein Laptop im Flugzeug liegen lassen und um Hilfe gebeten. Automatische E-Mails zurückgesendet und es gab keine Möglichkeit der Rückmeldung. Schließlich wurde eine E-Mail geschickt, dass man leider nichts machen könne. Während dessen ist der Laptop am Flughafen schon wieder im Fundbüro aufgetaucht. Reine Geldmacherei !

Useless & Terrible Customer Service
All they did was try to get Fedex to collect the item. If I wanted that done I would have done it myself! I needed someone in the region to collect the item and post it for me, how hard is that? And that is what was promised.
Customer service is also horrendous. Months of emails for any sort of conclusion and such slow replies and awful call centre.
It works!
The process worked just as advertised. I left an item behind in a hotel room. Three days after I placed the order with Deliverback, I received the item via UPS.

Put in request on Sunday evening for a collection in Paris and delivered to west of Ireland Tuesday morning AND it was 30% less expensive than going direct to the courier company - Bravo Deliverback👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fast 9 Wochen statt 6 Tagen (wie vereinbart)
Nur gegen Vorkasse wurde mein Tablet gesucht und zum Glück auch gefunden. Da ich es beruflich nutze, habe ich Express-Lieferung mit Zustellung innerhalb von 6 Tagen bezahlt. Trotz genauer Beschreibung von Modell (Apple), Seriennummer, Bildschirmschoner und blauer Schutzhülle bekam ich ein komplett anderes, altes Gerät (Samsung, schwarze Schutzhülle) zugeschickt. Mehrere Mails blieben unbeantwortet und erst unter Drohungen fühlte man sich genötigt, sich zu kümmern. Nach fast neun Wochen habe ich mein Gerät dann endlich erhalten. Auf meine Entschädigung warte ich immer noch, werde immer nur hingehalten. Meldet euch lieber selber im Fundbüro, das geht sicher einfacher und schneller.
Fabulous experiance with returning forgotten items overseas!
The return of forgotten shirts at our hotel in Athens, Greece were promptly returned to us in Silver Spring, MD, USA within 3 days! What else could anyone ask for? I would not hesitate to trust them to pick up items and successfully pack, ship, deal with customs, and get the items into my hands.
PLEASE READ before considering to use…
PLEASE READ before considering to use them! I have arranged UPS courier through them to deliver my parcel from Spain to the UK. They have not filled out necessary customs forms and my parcel still stuck in Spain waiting clearance. This company is based in Greece with no international support office. I cannot get hold of them through their phone number, and they do not reply to emails and What’s app provided on their website. Disgraceful scam company
Very poor service
I paid £97 two weeks ago and have heard nothing since. I have no tracking number. Several emails have gone completely unanswered. Terrible service. I don’t expect to ever receive my item but will gladly amend my review if I do.
Ipad arrived with broken screen
Ipad arrived with broken screen. Had been half covered in a poor quality bubble wrap type layer, in a standard envelope.
Worst still, had taken insurance, after months of trying to sort out reimbursement, they approve a $150 euro settlement, and now 6 months later still have not made payment.

FRAUD
FRAUD - THIS SERVICE IS NO SERVICE. THEY ARE JUST SAYING THAT THEY SEARCH FOR THINGS, BUT THEY DON'T. Fortunately, I did not stop my own search. Asking at the airport at lost and found of the airline worked!
