Second time I have used this company. Reliable, good rates, friendly staff and professional. Excellent clean very happy highly recommend

I used CMH Cleaning Services for an end-of-tenancy clean on 6 August 2026, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the standard of cleaning provided.

Several areas were left uncleaned, including cobwebs, the lampshade, the area behind the radiator, fridge and the dishwasher. The issue with the lampshade was also pointed out to the cleaning team at the time, but it was still not properly cleaned.

For an end-of-tenancy cleaning service, I expected a much more thorough and detailed clean, especially given the purpose of the service. I have raised my concerns with the company and provided photographs of the areas that were missed.

I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves its quality control, as I would expect an end-of-tenancy clean to meet a much higher standard.

Edit - they clearly have a bot writing positive reviews. After reading other reviews, I would avoid this company at all costs.

We provided full details of the property in advance and received a quote, paying a 50% deposit. Their terms stated that the remaining 50% was payable on completion.

On the day, once the clean had started, we received WhatsApp messages materially increasing the price due to the “size” of the property and appliances. This is a four-bedroom semi-detached house of under 1,700 sq ft with completely standard family appliances — all details they had been given before quoting.

They then demanded the remaining 50% payment immediately, despite their own terms saying it was due on completion. The messages were extremely direct and persistent and, with the clean already underway, we had little practical choice but to pay.

The cleaners themselves were pleasant and the clean was reasonable. However, they damaged a ceiling while cleaning and did not mention it, despite it being very obvious. To their credit, they helped fill the damage once I raised it, although I then had to repaint it.

I would not recommend them. The main issue is that you simply don't know what the final cost will be, coupled with the way payment was demanded on the day contrary to the stated terms.

We booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning service, and the gentleman who cleaned our house did a brilliant job! The whole place was spotless, and we were really impressed with the quality of his work. We will definitely book this company again for future cleaning services. Highly recommended!

Cleaners were thorough and it was very reasonably priced. End of tenancy clean booked and they spent 6 hours on the job. Easy booking process and quick to send cleaners from booking date.

The two cleaners did a fantastic job cleaning our house when we moved out. The house was spotless. They worked incredibly hard for 7 hours each. The only thing I would say is they did ask for more money when they got to the house however they did work for it.

Exceptional, super responsive in lead up very dedicated and the flat is the cleanest it has ever been! Will definitely use again and would recommend to estate agents for end of tenancy cleans

Accommodated last minute day change. Booked for deep clean and carpet and oven clean that were of high standard finish. Very polite, helpful and worked a number of hours on our property. Would highly recommend.

The cleaners took their time and were very thorough. They followed the instructions to the letter.Even though they could not initially find the location of my flat, they persisted and showed initiative and resourcefulness until they found it!

Really disappointed with the service. We booked a £250 deep clean, paying half the cost upfront, but the end result was comparable to a standard two-hour weekly clean rather than the comprehensive deep clean we had paid for.

Afterwards, I sent the company photographs showing multiple areas of our home that had not been cleaned. We only have a small two-bedroom cottage, so I was surprised that so many areas had been missed. The company apologised and said they would arrange for someone to return and complete the clean. However, after a month, nobody came back and I received no further communication.

I then contacted the company again and requested a partial refund. Since then, I have hired a new fortnightly cleaner, who charged £150 to carry out a deep clean to her own standard before starting regular visits. This further highlighted that the original deep clean had not been completed to the standard expected. I acknowledged that some cleaning had been carried out, which is why I requested only a partial refund rather than a full one.

Unfortunately, I have received no response. My overall impression is that the company was focused on securing the initial payment but showed little interest in resolving the issues afterwards or ensuring customer satisfaction.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Excellent service. Good value, very thorough and reliable. Cleaner kept me updated throughout despite speaking limited English. Would highly recommend.

Avoid this firm at all costs. They will offer a low quote and then demand additional money to finished the job.

I had a dreadful experience with this firm, for which I am still suffering the consequences. I booked them for an end of tenancy clean. Knowing that there are often short timescales for turnarounds, the firm offered a low quote and then on the day demanded an extra £150 to finish the job.

The cleaner turned up two hours late, the company refused to answer any calls to query the additional demand for money, and to really put the cherry on the cake, the cleaner broke the front door when they left.

The employee who carried out the cleaning done a fantastic job. The house was left immaculate. Very pleased with the work and the employee was polite and sent pictures of the finished work. It was good that the work could be carried out at short notice

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid CMH Cleaning.

One of the first things that concerned me was their use of the word "team" in their advertising. Like many people, I expected multiple cleaners to arrive. Instead, they sent a single cleaner to carry out the entire clean of my house. She was left to work completely alone for 11½ hours, and, as far as I am aware, nobody from CMH Cleaning checked on her once during that time.

When I questioned this, I was told that the quality of the clean would be the same regardless of how many cleaners were sent. I completely disagree. Expecting one person to work for over 11 hours straight is unreasonable and significantly increases the likelihood of mistakes through fatigue.

Unfortunately, during the clean one of my kitchen cupboard doors was damaged. I do not blame the cleaner. I believe the accident was a direct result of CMH Cleaning's poor management and unrealistic expectations.

The way the company handled the damage afterwards was even worse.

Despite my concerns, they insisted on sending the same cleaner back to repair the door. As I expected, this achieved nothing. The appointment was cancelled three times in one week before someone eventually attended the following week. The cleaner herself confirmed that the damage could not be repaired.

CMH Cleaning then asked me to send the cupboard door details. I did this twice, and on both occasions they either lost or forgot the information, leaving me waiting days without any update. Communication throughout was dreadful, and the person supposedly in charge was repeatedly unavailable due to sickness.

Eventually I refused to keep sending the same information and told them they needed to come and measure the door themselves. Even then, despite me repeatedly explaining that the door was a specific colour and style supplied by Wren Kitchens, they wasted more time visiting generic kitchen retailers looking for an off-the-shelf replacement that simply did not exist.

After repeatedly telling them they needed to deal directly with Wren, they finally agreed. I even added them to my Wren account to help the process. However, they refused to speak to anyone over the phone, meaning they still couldn't place the order.

After more than two months of delays, excuses, poor communication and wasted time, they eventually paid me so I could arrange the replacement myself.

To make matters worse, I was also informed that they refused to pay the cleaner for all the hours she had worked. If that's true, I find it completely unacceptable. The cleaner worked incredibly hard under impossible circumstances and was left unsupported for the entire day.

This experience demonstrated poor management, poor communication, misleading advertising, and a complete lack of responsibility when things went wrong. The cleaner deserved far better support than she received, and I deserved far better customer service.

I cannot recommend CMH Cleaning to anyone. There are plenty of professional cleaning companies that value both their customers and their staff. Based on my experience, CMH Cleaning is not one of them.

I requested a deep clean service.
For a home that was left in a terrible state from previous owners.
I expected a crew of professional cleaners with industrial cleaning equipment.
On day of booking a young man probably early 20s arrived with a hoover, rags and a few bottles of flash bleach.
The young man spoke no English and required a translation app on his phone to speak English. This made discussing the task at hand difficult.

Realising this young man was unlikely to be able to move furniture and beds on his own I enquired with the company as to how the young man would clean behind such items. The company explained furniture and heavy objects would not be moved due to possibility of damaging said items or staff being hurt in the process.

We decided to continue with the deep clean. I left the young man to do his job and went out for the day.

On my return it was clear to see this young man had worked incredibly hard. Everything from the floor to head height was spotless and he certainly put the effort in, he worked from 10am to 20.30.

What concerned me was anything above head height was left untouched leaving thick dust on cabnets tops. lights. architraves and coving. When I enquired with the young man about this I was told his contract states nothing above were he could reach.

So things to remember with this company, heavy objects like furniture and beds will not be moved to clean under and behind. Lights, high cabinet tops and corners of ceiling will not be cleaned.
Walls will also not be dusted down (I was told this at point of booking, due to fear of damaging walls?)

So to my mind this is not a deep clean. It's half a job done really well. There are other companies that would provide a better service.
