We’ve used CMH for cleaning before, and once again, they didn’t disappoint! They managed to fit us in at very short notice, which we really appreciated. Ali and Gabi kept me updated on their arrival, and both were very polite and professional.
They did a fantastic job turning the after-builders’ mess into a sparkling clean place! They also let me check everything before they left and waited until I was happy with the results.
Thank you, Ali and Gabi, for doing such a great job. Highly recommend CMH, and we’ll definitely be using them again!

⭐ 1/5 £180 Paid Upfront, No Cleaning Done, No Refund. Extremely Disappointing Experience!

I would strongly advise anyone considering CMH Cleaning Services to read this before paying them anything upfront.

I booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning service and paid £180 in advance, expecting a professional cleaning service at the agreed price

However, when the cleaner arrived, I was suddenly informed that I needed to pay an additional £100 because they considered certain areas of the property dirtier than expected

I understand that some cleaning tasks may require additional work, but what happened next is what made this experience completely unacceptable to me.

I clearly told them that I did NOT want any additional cleaning services. I was happy for them to skip anything they believed required extra payment and simply carry out the standard cleaning service I had already paid £180 for. I even offered to remove the food from the fridge myself.

Surely, if a customer has paid for a standard cleaning service, they should at least be able to receive that service without being forced to agree to additional charges?

But CMH Cleaning Services refused to proceed unless I paid the extra £100

When I declined, the cleaning was not carried out. I then requested a refund of my £180, since I had received no cleaning service whatsoever.

Their response? They refused to refund me as well.

So, to summarise my experience:

- I paid £180 upfront
- They demanded **another £100 after arriving.
- I offered to proceed with only the standard cleaning I had originally booked.
- They refused to carry out the cleaning at the original price.
- No cleaning service was provided
- They refused to refund my £180

They justified their decision by referring to their terms and conditions and claiming the property was dirtier than expected. But my issue is simple: I never asked them to perform extra work for free. I explicitly asked them NOT to do the extra work

What I find most disappointing is their unwillingness to find a reasonable solution. Instead of providing the service I had already paid for, offering a compromise, or refunding my money, they simply maintained their decision.

I am now £180 out of pocket, with a property that has not been cleaned, and nothing to show for the money I paid

In my opinion, this is an extremely disappointing way to treat a paying customer. I expected transparency, professionalism, and basic fairness. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

My advice: Think very carefully before paying this company upfront. Make sure you fully understand what is included, what could trigger additional charges, and whether you will get your money back if they refuse to carry out the cleaning at the agreed price

I genuinely wish I had known this before booking.

Booking the appointment was incredibly easy online, with same day availability on a Saturday. However, the kitchen was still sticky annd greasy afterwards and clearly hadn’t been “deep-cleaned” nor was the bathroom floor clean, with limescale marks remaining on taps. I reached out to the company who said it was just “rust” and a “small matter” but offered a re-clean or a 10% refund. I opted for a re-clean but their availability was no longer as great.

Everything was booked and confirmed. Then on the morning of the booking I received a WhatsApp message at 4:44am informing me that they would arrive at 10am rather than 9am that day (meaning I had to reschedule my own work commitments at very short notice).

Having now seen the second standard of cleaning, it is better but still not what I expected from a “professional deep clean”. The doorjambs still had dirt and grime, their cleaning products left a white residue on the kitchen counter, and there are water marks on the bathroom tiles.

The bathroom floor is still disgusting. I was informed that it was uncleanable and stained, but I’ve been able to lift dirt with just rubbing an antibac wipe along the floor with my foot To be clear, none of this is “staining” - it is dirt that didn’t get cleaned.

I know this is a rental property but it was empty when they were here so there was just the cleaning to focus on. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Gabriella came to our flat today to do an end of tenancy clean for the balcony and did an incredible job. I don’t think those balconies looked that good when they were new. Would definitely use again.

The cleaners were exceptional - extremely hard working and polite.

Aly and the team did a fantastic job in after builders cleaning; with a lot of attention to detail and an eye for any small spots. They left the shop spotless cleaned thoroughly. Thank you team

We hired a deep clean after moving house including rugs and blinds. The team of 3 was quick and efficient whilst being thorough. They navigated well around furniture and boxes, which was appreciated as we didn’t manage to have it done with an empty house. People were nice, careful, communicative and flexible.
My only small note is that I had to keep reminding them to be mindful of open windows and doors so our indoor cat wouldn't escape (a big worry right after a move!). Everything turned out fine, but pet owners may want to keep an eye on this. Overall, they did a fantastic job.

These guys did an amazing job, absolutely first class, every inch of the place was spotless and gleaming. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely thorough and efficient cleaning

Impressed by level of diligence applied - every corner was spotless. We requested a deep clean after moving into our new home as the the previous occupier had not taken care of the property well and the last deep clean was not done to standard. Cleaners from CMH certainly made our flat much more cheerful and comfortable. Will definitely book again for regular deep cleaning.

Ali Felipe was incredible - did a fantastic job under tough circumstances. The company messed up the times and sent him last minute after they failed to correctly send someone in the morning, he did an immaculate job in half the time I expected. 10/10 job by Ali, 0/10 job by CMH for not booking properly to begin with.

Top guys. Took 6 hours to do deep clean. Very pleasant and polite.

This is NOT a professional cleaning service. In fact, it is a complete shambles of a company who are completely taking advantage of customers.

Two individuals arrived on foot with a small suitcase of supplies for an end of tenancy clean. No mop, no vacuum etc. When shown how to turn on the hot water, the said they would not need it (for a deep clean ???)

I went through each room with detailed instructions of the clean required then left for a few hours. On my return, our front door was wide open, the keys on the floor and no cleaners around.

We had paid for a full end of tenancy clean. On inspection it appeared that a quick wipe down of some surfaces was completed only. Likely about 30 mins worth of work. The floors were not washed or hoovered, rugs were dirty, there was crumbs on hob, dust remained on skirting boards, tops of drawers and the blinds, the showers were still directly and covered in limescale, coat/crumbs in drawers etc I.e., no way we would pass and end of tenancy inspection. Furthermore, our shoe press drawer was broken and on the floor, and one of the shelves in the in the freezer was snapped.

Communication with customer service is a joke. WhatsApp messages from multiple different business accounts under the name CMH cleaning. No direct phone line, only an AI automated voice.

I had initially requested a re clean first thing the next morning but then discovered that with flight timings I would be unable to allow them entry/exit to the the appartment. Also on further consideration, I did not feel safe having anyone from this company back in my home given the door having been left open and the items taken.

They made a stressful moving situation a 100 times worse.

Unlikely that we will ever receive a refund via their abominable customer service.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY !!!!!

I had to move out very suddenly after my father fell ill. The house was a complete disaster and the first cleaning company I booked didn’t even show. This was the day before the landlady was coming to do her inspection. I was able to book and have some at the house within a couple of hours. Ali not only did a spectacular job in taking the place from filthy to spotless, he was incredibly kind and reassuring. Moving house is stressful in of itself and these circumstances have been particularly trying. I cannot thank Ali and CMH enough for their professionalism, hard work and compassion. I highly recommend this service to everyone.

Great communication start to finish. Competitive price for end of tenancy clean. Arrived in time and finished in time,ephotographs of whole house. Couldn't fault them house is spotless thanks definitely recommend!

I had a great experience with CMH Cleaning Services. The team was very friendly, professional and attentive to everything I asked for. They listened to my requests and did the job exactly as I wanted. I’m very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In summary, do not trust this service as this is NOT a professional cleaning service. Two people arrived with a pack of wipes and dirty old rags in a small suitcase with no hoover, mop etc, and then started wiping surfaces. We paid for a professional carpet clean and there was no difference when we returned.

More Details: We paid for a full house clean for our empty new house including carpet deep clean, and this covered all surfaces, skirting boards, inside cupboards, toilets, etc.

For the first visit, the cleaners arrived with a small suitcase and a backpack and we left the house to allow them time to clean. When we returned, we could see the surfaces had been wiped, most appliances cleaned and bathrooms wipes also. However, there was no change to the carpets and the kitchen floor was still filthy. Because of this we shared the photos and requested a reclean.

On the second visit, one cleaner arrived with a suitcase filled with old rags and some wipes. We stayed home this time to check the cleaning was completed. After attempting to ‘mop’ with three old clothes and no bucket, the cleaner gave up and said it was too dirty. He then hoovered the carpets in 2 of 4 bedrooms, did not deep clean, and then left.

I left an email explaining my confusion and detailing the service received and I did not receive anything back. We now still have filthy carpets/floors and we’re £390 out of pocket.
