It’s ok
It’s ok. Don’t like having to tap plates together to get it to heat up and it always seems to revert straight to the hottest setting automatically. Only lasted about 2 years before the plates stopped heating. Clearly not as durable as my OG GHD which is still going after 15 years.

Product great. Giving me a $30 discount and then purchased when the day after the hair straightener was $100 off and wouldn't refund the difference was upsetting disappointing when in the end I could have sent back and refunded. Look after your loyal clients

I am a little disappointed
I am a little disappointed I should have gotten a flat iron. The curved plates leave kinks in my hair when curling. This is my second cloud nine, first one had a very long life which is why I stuck with the brand. It straightens fine but I was hoping to love it.

My Cloud Nine hair straightener of 18 months stopped working. I contacted Cloud Nine and I would like to say that it is the best customer Service I have EVER received. From registering my original purchase receipt, returning my faulty straightener to receiving a new replacement straightener. The process was seamless from my first initial contact to the last. your customer service is number 1…
your customer service is number 1 faultless, the iron is great works well but unfortunatly its not reliable this its the second iron replacement under warranty wich it allways seems the be the heating element pads maybe you should look elsewhere for those part as the one you are recieving now have quite a large failrate.

Wondered why I wasn’t getting the best…
Wondered why I wasn’t getting the best of my GHD straightener. Hmmm seems it’s about 15 years old. My hairdresser suggested I buy a Cloud Nine. “They’re really good. We all use them in the salon”. So I bought one and WOW! I’d been killing my hair having to make several passes through my hair with the old straightener. With the Cloud Nine, one pass through and it’s perfect. You’ve saved my hair and my time. I really love it. Now I want the hairdryer with the curl attachment too.

5 stars for Customer Service
5 stars for Customer Service but am giving 4 stars after the Straightener stopped heating up just over 12 months after it was purchased. Not sure what the problem with it was but after contacting Cloud Nine Support I cannot fault the level of customer service received following my enquiry. I purchased the original Straightener from the Cloud Nine website so had a 3-year warranty which was automatically registered by Cloud Nine so did not have to worry about registering the warranty. Faulty product was returned with Cloud Nine covering the postage. The turn around time of sending off the faulty product and receiving a brand new straightener was exactly one week. Could not be more impressed with the high level of customer service experienced from the Cloud Nine Support team. I am also aware of several hairdressers who use Cloud Nine straighteners and have had no issues with the product over 5 years of constant daily usage, so I am fairly confident I unfortunately just received a one-off Straightener that had something go wrong with it. Would definitely buy from Cloud Nine again.
