I had a tenancy clean for a property I was moving into. The team of 2 cleaners who came went above and beyond to get the flat clean. Thanks again.

Wouldn't let me pay by any method other than bank transfer because their 'card systems weren't working'... When I phoned to cancel the very next day (because I'd found someone that would take payment via credit card) they shockingly did accept card payments!

2 stars instead of one because the first person I spoke to (to get a quote) was actually quite helpful.

I booked Cleaning day for our end of tenancy clean as they were recommended by friend of mine. They were late on the day of the service, but the cleaning itself was really thorough. Our landlord checked the property and everything was perfectly clean. We got our deposit back. Overall a great experience. Thank you.

We are very pleased with the end of tenancy cleaning of our 2 bed apartment. The cleaners worked hard and provided fantastic cleaning service for us. The kitchen, rooms and bathroom are spotless. I recommend this company to any in London.

We had a Deep cleaning and a carpet cleaning done by Cleaning day. It really is different when professionals do the job rather than just us. They knew exactly how to clean as quick and as sufficient as possible. Thank you for your help and for saving us so much time and effort!

When I emailed them they didn't care.

I had to pay my landlord another cleaning fee.

Had an after builders clean after major building works. The house was cleaned by the builders and myself to a decent standard but I wanted a proper clean to get bits of paint off of the flooring tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms etc.

They finished when it was dark and it all looked ok, I was also in a rush to go on holiday straight after so just quickly looked and seemed ok.

Having looked in the day light, they merely had mopped the tiles in bathrooms and kitchen with no vigour and there were still loads of paint and stubborn marks. Looking closer they hadn’t cleaned any of the skirting in the bathrooms (still lots of sawdust laying on top), carpets weren’t hoovered in the corners and sawdust was still there.

I had to clean to a good standard with my girlfriend for around 4 hrs when I got back from holiday to get the house looking nice and clean which is what I expected the cleaners to do.

I did query the job and the standard of cleanliness to the company and they just said I should have booked a sparkle clean in however I think they were just trying to make up excuses. An after builders clean should surely take into account stubborn marks and blatant dust and dirt.

To sum up it was just a basic clean and didn’t go that extra mile to actually do a proper thorough clean.

Try another company if I were you!!!

Polite and friendly booking service.
Cleaning lady arrived on time, was very friendly and polite and started to clean immediately. The oven looks brand new!

What a joke.
Wish I saw these reviews before I went with these guys.

I am a new landlord and I requested a professional clean ahead of my new tenants moving in. This cost £235 and the checkin report after my new tenants moved in showed this clean to be below professional standards, stating it to be at a “basic level”. Be VERY wary of using these “cleaners” as they won’t come back to finish the job if it’s poorly done. They give a grace period of 48 hours which is simply not enough time for a full check-in report to be undertaken and published. I will avoid them at all costs next time I need a proper clean done.

Do NOT ever use this company!

Cleaning Day is a scam. They charge very expensive fees (almost £400 for a one-hour professional clean of a medium-sized flat) and provide ZERO guarantees that the cleaning will be of appropriate standards.

I spent almost £400 and the floors of my flat were not even mopped or vacuumed! Sofas were left uncleaned too!

The cleaners they employ are very unprofessional and speak little to no English. They have very little attention to detail - something which you would think important for a cleaning service.

The customer service is probably the worst we've ever come across because they know its a scam. They spend most of their time creating fake reviews:
- Look at any of their 5-star reviews on TrustPilot and you'll see what I mean - they obviously pay individuals to give them positive reviews.
- Heck, even their owner Leda Krasteva had time to give her own company two 5-star reviews on TrustPilot. Look it up yourself, it's hilarious! If you can't find them anymore, it means they know we're onto them and have removed the fake reviews
- They have 1-star on Google Reviews but 9.7-stars on their own website? They so blatantly fake reviews on their own website its not even funny

TLDR: Using this company's service will be the biggest regret of your life.

We used Cleaning Day for their sofa cleaning service, and I have to say, they've done an awful job. I was expecting a deep clean of the sofa, because as we've got 3 young children, the sofa has taken a bit of a battering, to say the least! :) and we wanted to get it clean just to give it a bit of a freshen up.

Initially, the guy who came wasn't sure about cleaning the sofa because, apparently they use really hot water and he was worried that could damage certain parts of the sofa - however, I told him not to worry because cleaning the cushions were the main priority and I couldn't see how they would be damaged...

When the guy said he was finished, I was surprised as he hadn't been working for that long. After he left I went in and checked the sofa/ cushions and they were freezing cold, and didn't really look any different - apart from the fact they were soaking wet. I expected the sofa to be wet obviously - but if they were using a really high level of water temperature, I would have expected some warmth/ steam in the room / or steam coming off the sofa/cushions, but there wasn't. Which leads me to think that maybe the sofa wasn't cleaned as it was initially suggested it would. All in all, it was a waste of £55 (in fact it was £60 as the guy didn't have any change)....

Hands down the worst service I have ever received. I booked an end of tenancy clean (tiny 1 bedroom flat where the oven had never been used and the fridge/freezer were spotless) but I would have done a better job myself in ten minutes. This wasn't even a basic clean - dirt and debris everywhere where they hadn't hoovered properly, dust and grime on lampshades and the sink. The hob was a smeary mess and I had to clean the floors twice because they were so dirty. I presented all of this to the company (I took numerous pictures) who told me that because I hadn't given them an opportunity to re-clean it (they said couldn't come round for four days before my tenant moved in) the would not reimburse any of my money (£130!!). Avoid at all costs!!

Booked an end of Tenancy Clean. Missed several areas and clerk report identified several areas that had been missed. Then refused to go back because it was outside the 48 hour guarantee (even though the report took a couple of days to come through).

Very bad service. Will never use again. Should have looked at Trustpilot reviews before employing them!

I had my end of tenancy clean with professionally cleaned carpets and exterior windows cleaned. Great communication from Cleaning Day, turned up on time and did a cracking job. Both cleaners were polite and friendly and worked hard to make sure everything was done as needed. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Save yourself a head ache and avoid this cleaning company.

Booked an end of tenency clean through these guys.
They immediately revoked their guarantee as the place wasn't clean enough?!
After visiting the property after the left, they had done a very poor job.
The stairs throughout the property appeared to have got worse, with mud left on them.
Found cigarette butts in the garden, which they denied, even though it had to have been them.
They did such a bad job, that the landlord charged us extra to clean the house again.
After contacting Cleaning Day about this, they offered us a discount on the next clean. Which we obviously would never go with them again.
Avoid at all costs.

Awful company.

Could go on all day, don’t know where to start.

Firstly the quality of clean was so poor I could have done a better job myself, was nowhere near a professional clean - dust and cobwebs left on door frames, fridge untouched amongst others.

Chose this company as it’s high up on google and had a good rating, however this rating comes from their own website and states 300+ reviews and when analysed only 10 reviews can be seen and are all written in 2016 etc despite the company being founded in 2018.

When the cleaners arrived had a call instantly demanding more money for the windows to be cleaned as they were double glazed. Later checked the number I had been called on and was from a different company - happy house cleaning. Suggesting they had just sub contracted the job out.

The customer service was awful. They claim to have a 24/7 support line which they later told me consisted of 9-5 but they have a voicemail box the other 16 hours of a day where you can leave a message, the box was full so I couldn’t.

Decided not to let them back into the house to amend their mess (part of the 48 deposit back guarantee) as didn’t trust their quality or reliability and instead asked for a refund and was offered £10. I chose to refuse as they were nowhere close to professional standard and felt it was a waste of time. Paid extra for the landlord to get another cleaner in.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Contrary to all these bad reviews here, the company did a really good job on an end if tenancy clean. They arrived on time, didn’t charge any extra money, finished on time and the landlord was very happy. All these bad reviews here of the company really unsettled me, but my experience with then was very good!
