I cannot understand the poor negative reviews I think some are for sure purposely written. I’ve collected CB since the beginning and can honestly say they are absolutely stunning bears, the personal touch is outstanding. I’ve also collected Steiff and where they decline in value immediately with most Charlie bears they become very collectible and the price can double and triple or more. The designs are very limited not over produced which is rare in a company and they give a personal experience and there team are fantastic. They care they actually care about service and quality . If unsure watch some video on You tube or Charlie bears face book site. They also run a collectors club for £15 a year you get a £10 discount voucher, a badge and lots more including exclusive look to new bears coming before anyone also and discounts on them. Don’t hesitate they are superb and highly collectible especially the mohair’s. Also to add if in UK living or visiting then go to the Bear house not only is it a superb store it’s actually got a bear museum and wow it’s absolutely outstanding. I’ve only watched it on CB video as I live far but one day I hope to visit it, all the collections to see past and present it’s outstanding what they have done. Have a look if you search it up.

An honest review
I have been collecting Charlie Bears since 2009. I have over 300 of their bears with hopes to buy more. When I have had to contact them, they have been polite, courteous, understanding and helpful.
Our DPD deliveries are always 100% perfect, so I have no quarrels with Charlie Bears using them to deliver bears.
Quality of the bears has always been great, though I will admit there has been a couple recently that I didn't feel were up to their usual standard. Perhaps a sign of the times, cost of living, cutting back. I don't know. When I commented about it in a post, the post was removed, which I didn't agree with. You have to take the negative with the positive when you are running a business and censorship leaves people frustrated. But, with 300 perfect bears and transactions, the good outweigh the bad so much so that it wouldn't stop me buying more ( and hasn't done!)
The membership is what you make of it. For the small price of £15 a year, you get access to the private Facebook group which, for me, is worth the membership payment alone. But you also get a £10 voucher with your pack, which you can use against anything on the Charlie Bears website. With the voucher, it means membership is really only £5 a year. You also get free hard copies of the catalogues, with four smaller catalogues through the year. You also get access to membership bears, which are at a reduced price for members. Like any other collectible, these are sought after, and can be tricky to get hold of if you are not a member. With their limited run, not every one can get one and I have missed out on a few I dearly wanted, too. While this is frustrating, you roll with it and try to get the next one. With the membership you get early access to the new collection, videos detailing the bears on sale, and emails about your membership. You also have a full week to preorder the bears from the new collection before its official release date. Honestly, for £5 (if you include the voucher) membership is very much worth every penny.
I understand some people have had a bad experience, but in all honesty, I truly believe Charlie Bears Direct is a far better company than some of the reviews left here. Like almost every company these days, there are delays in getting things and changes have had to be made. I can fully understand this, it isn't difficult to comprehend in a world turned upside down in the past couple of years, that delays and changes are to be expected. Charlie Bears has had to move with the times like most of us have, and patience is a virtue when delays are so common on all fronts.
My personal experiences with the company have been positive, therefore my review is positive, but it is an honest review of a company I deal with often.

I have collected charlie bears off and on since I was 9, I am now 22. I remember saving up all my pocket money over several months for Claire and she came every where with me. As well as the exciting for Christmas or getting birthday money where I would always spend every penny on a bear and these are great memories. I couldn't wait for when I was old enough to have a job and I knew I would go back and get all the ones I was unable to get then, which is exactly what I have recently done, because i love charlie bears.

I have also purchased several bears from charlie bears direct in recent years, they all arrived quickly and well packaged. I have only ever had an issue with one bear purchased which needed returning. There Customer service was outstanding and replied very politely within just a few hours. I was able to return the bear and recieved a replacement that same week. The only issue was I never recieved the postage costs. When contacted, there customer service again replied very politely, phoned me up to establish what had happened and I recieved the postage costs back a few days later.
Mistakes happen, I honestly can't fault the customer service, they were very helpful and polite.
I have/ and will continue to order from charlie bears website due to there well packaged, reliable, fastly delivered bears. Also because I know if I ever have a problem with a bear, I am confident it will be resolved well. Charlie bears direct has been my chosen place for purchasing bears the past few years.

I have been collecting CB's for 3 years and absolutely love them. I was never into bears before but now have over 100 and they certainly helped me through lockdown. Just love the quality and how individual each bear is. I usually phone to place orders and the care and help given is always spot on, so friendly and helpful. Last 2 I ordered arrived the next day and you can't get better than that 😊🐻

I have been a collector for a couple of years now and I purchase the majority of my bears from Charlie Bears Direct (UK). In the small amount of time that I have been collecting these bears, I have never had a problem with them. They are always beautifully packaged and love the inscriptions that are printed inside the box. Charlie bears are high in quality, the range of different fabrics that are used is great and all the different characters you can get. I love how every character has their own personality/expression and that there is a variety in size and colours. I have always had great service from the team especially when I had made the mistake of selecting a collection instead of delivery for a Charlie Bear that was apart of the Best Friends Club which I thought I missed out on because of my error but the bear cubs at Charlie Bears were amazing and managed to sort this out for me so I was able to get it and didn’t miss out. Also I am a member of the Charlie Bears Best Friend Club and I think that what you pay a month to be a member is worth it as you get quite a bit for being a member.

I have been collecting Charlie Bears for several years now and find the quality and customer service second to none. Charlotte and William Morris are exceptional in their dealings with collectors and take note of improvements suggested by members, i.e. improved packaging most recently. A very caring company that go above and beyond for their collectors.

We have purchased lots of bears off of this company. Never had a problem with them, always got the bears in excellent condition. Couldn't fault them at all. Excellent customer service as well, always willing to help in anyway they can. Will definitely continue using them

Poor quality items, they used to be really good solid bears. Over priced, mass produced, poor quality. Have stopped collecting them now after owning over 300 👎

I have been buying Charlie bears for over 10 years now with no problems , Charlie, bears direct is also amazing and well put together ,they are beautiful bears very well made , and will still always buy from them.

I have always loved Teddy bears since I was a little girl. When I was in my early 20s I discovered Charlie Bears and have never looked back! They are adorable! I have just over 100 now (been collecting since 2012!) Will and Charlie are down to earth, wonderful owners who try their best to listen to collectors. The bears at the bearhouse are so friendly and go above and beyond most times I have emailed to help with picture requests and are there to answer your questions- always! The bears themselves are pieces of art! I adore the different styles, materials and vast range of characters Charlie makes year after year 🥰🐻

I have been buying Charlie Bears direct from the company for five years now. I’ve never had an issue with quality or packing. The service has always been great and returns easy to do, refunds have never taken long either. I wish the mohair bears were a little more affordable but everything in the world is getting expensive. I like that you can directly receive contact from both Charlie and Will at times, it gives a personal touch. I believe they genuinely care about the buyer experience. Maybe they don’t always get everything right but they do ask members on Facebook for feedback via surveys and people who don’t get their most-wanted bear at times are bound to feel annoyed, but it’s happened to us all myself included. You can’t please everyone but they do their best to.

Absolutely fantastic I have used the website and have been side the beautiful shop in Launceston. With the website had no problem whatsoever the bears have always arrived lovingly packaged and the delivery time has always been spot on. When visiting the shop in Launceston had nothing but wonderful friendly service with a smile the museum is just a fantastic heavenly bonus. Can't say a bad word but any of it. Highly recommended all the way and the bears are always such fantastic high quality.

Charlie Bears is a great company that puts a lot of love into their bears. If there are problems, they always try to find a solution, even the managing directors personally take care of problems. I love charlie bears and can't understand the bad reviews.

Very good customer service, on the rare occasion I have experienced a problem I have always found them very helpful.

Yes the bears are expensive but there’s a huge choice and some of them are more affordable.
