I’ve reached out to bytetag 3 time over a couple months and NOT 1 person has gotten back with me. No customer support whatsoever!

Not only are the ByteTags great quality, but the app is easy to use and their customer service team is so quick and helpful. I lost my original tag and reached out to them by social media and they were so quick to respond and help me with my replacement!

I placed the order in Aug 2023 and received it, but the printing is gone after a few months of use.
I reached out to the customer center several times but have yet to receive a response. As everybody stated, they have not returned my inquiry at all, and I feel like I have been wholly cheated!

Just like everyone else. Order placed, no order received. It’s been over a month. When I placed the order I emailed right away to change the color and got a response back right away. That was the last contact despite repeated emails. What seemed like a great concept has been spoiled by a company that clearly couldn’t get their product together.

I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER!

I placed my order - - - and waited and waited - - - I reached out, and they responded with, "Basically, our fulfillment software glitched and stopped tracking our inventory. This caused us to continue selling out-of-stock inventory for a couple of days without realizing it. Unfortunately, it appears that your order was affected by this, so we had to set aside your shipping label to wait for new inventory arrive. It shouldn't be much longer before we have the inventory to ship your order."

So I waited for another TWO WEEKS - - Reached out and "Again, we're so very sorry for this delay. We're still a relatively new business, so we're working out some issues as we go. I hope you can understand :)"

Waited another two weeks--- reached out and have heard NOTHING BACK despite emailing the company once a day for over 30 days.

Ordered December 2023, never got my order emailed them three times to follow up no reply to any emails! I know someone who has successfully ordered the tags hence I ordered but never got my order or received any emails back. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Scam.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Never received the product. Originally ordered end of Nov 2023 and they never shipped it. It’s fake for sure. I ordered thru PayPal so praying I get back my money. I unfortunately spent $80!!!!

When I got the tag, I scanned the QR code, and it said that the number belongs to another customer. I emailed them four times and no one responded. There’s no phone number to call.

One month later, still no product. USPS tracking shows it has never shipped. No response from ByteTag except canned emails asking me to review my products (which never arrived so I cannot!!). I love supporting small, new businesses but this is the third time in the past 6 months that my credit card was charged immediately and product didn't ship for 1-3 months. This is both poor business practice and often against the business's terms with the credit card company!
UPDATE - I contacted ByteTag several times and kept getting the run around. Finally, I asked them to cancel because the product would not arrive before an upcoming international move. BYTE TAG AGREED TO CANCEL AND REFUND MY MONEY. No surprise - but they never did process the refund, and when I disputed with my credit card ByteTag responded in a manner which made my credit card company uphold the charge.
Long story short - never received product and ByteTag refused to do right by its customers (and commitments). DO NOT BUY.

Ordered my bytetag in Sept 2023. Attempted to contact them multiple times between October-December 2023. Received emails from the company saying "they were working on it and my order would be shipped soon" but never received item.

I ordered this product and immediately tried to cancel after I changed my mind. I contacted the company through their “contact form” within minutes (they say it can be cancelled within 12 hrs). I received no response. I was sent a notification that a shipping label was created. I again contacted them reiterating I wanted my order cancelled. Still no response. Today I received a notification that the order has shipped. Do not order from this company. No customer service.

I am a UK based customer and ordered two silicone tags on 28th November. After nearly two weeks of checking and no changes to the delivery status via the tracking number provided, I got in touch via the websites ‘contact us’ page to enquire about any updates; I am yet to get a response to this enquiry. At the time, having googled reviews, I was worried I had also been scammed by the number of failed deliveries and lack of response to customer enquiries, like I had experienced.
Fast forward a month, around late December, I got an email from the shipping company FedEx to say the parcel would be delivered by January 4th. The parcel arrived on the 4th with both purchased tags enclosed.
All things considered, not the best customer service approach but products look great, service a purpose, and are still intact considering they are worn by two energetic Dalmatians. Still getting my head around how to use the app and keep details private when the dogs aren’t ‘lost’ but the QR code is scanned by a stranger…

Broke after two weeks, became a hazard, and they don’t contact you back. There is no phone number. Only an email and they never respond on there of fb. Scam!

I - like the other people who have reported, have NOT received my order. It hasn't been as long as the others, but it's been over 2 weeks. I had to reach out to the "support" team 2x before I even received a response, which was that they had a glitch, inventory ran out and they're waiting for new product to arrive. They explained that they're a relatively new business and all, which I get...but someone should've informed me and the other customers of the situation. I still have no idea WHEN my order will be fulfilled and from what I've read so far...it might not.

I ordered 3 byte tags for Christmas gifts in November. Still haven't received them. Was told inventory ran short, then that the order was lost by USPS/UPS. I never got an email letting me know the order was shipped. Was told they are sending a replacement. Today I have asked for them to issue a refund. If that isn't done in a timely manner, will be disputing the charge on my credit card!

I ordered this product which I was really excited about in September. It never arrived. It’s been three months! I’ve sent Numerous emails back-and-forth with customer service and no one takes my issue seriously. Finally I just asked for a refund. I’ve now asked three times for a refund and they refused to respond to me or refund my order I would absolutely not recommend getting this product.

They don’t disclose that you have to pay for a monthly subscription to sign your friends and family up to see notifications in order to use your ByteTag and Mark. Your dog has lost! This product used to be good but now it’s a scam!

I originally ordered a tag for my dog on 9/28, and I still haven't received it or gotten any confirmation that it's been even created or shipped. The customer support response is just a canned email that says it takes 3-4 weeks to ship. I ended up filing a dispute charge with my credit card company
