I reserved a specific camper. At the time of reservation, I turned down a 20% discount if I accepted any camper of the right size, because I wanted a specific configuration (my wife and I didn't want to climb on a ladder, bad knees). When I arrived, I was given a warm "I'm so sorry" standing for "I don't care". After rental I asked to get the 20% back and also didn't get it. Didn't even get a response, an apology or anything. My advice is, take the 20% and cut the company's margin, because they will give you what they want.

Long waiting time for the pick up of the van - around 2 hours. Otherwise very friendly service, no problems with the vehicle, smooth return.

Firstly a great job showing me how to use campervan and secondly a very friendly workforce. Had a minor incident and when returning the campervan no fuss at all. great service

È andato tutto bene, mi sono affidata al sito di bunk Campers direttamente per il noleggio di un camper per due persone, in quanto le offerte erano più vantaggiose rispetto ad altri siti che offrivano lo stesso camper. Ho scelto il Mystery quindi non sapevo di preciso che tipo di camper avrei ricevuto, ma avevo deciso le caratteristiche che dovesse avere che sono state rispettate, come le posate e la biancheria per il letto. Ahimè per stare più tranquilla ho dovuto scegliere l'assicurazione aggiuntiva in modo tale che si abbassasse anche il deposito cauzionale ( restituito sulla carta di credito) ed avere più servizi. È stato bello soggiornare e fare questa esperienza nuova. Fondamentale il cambio automatico.
Alla consegna abbiamo visto col noleggiatore le parti che erano già danneggiate e ci ha spiegato sommariamente il funzionamento del camper. Consiglierei assolutamente.
Sicuramente d'estate in alta stagione c'è da aspettare più tempo perché le persone sono tante, ma a novembre c'eravamo solo noi abbiamo fatto tutto velocemente, considerando anche la chiarezza dei moduli inviati per mail che abbiamo già compilato da Casa.

We booked an Aero Plus and got allocated an Apollo - Duo Plus or equivalent which was much smaller and less comfortable. We had an Aero Plus the previous year from Bunk Campers in the Greater London area and had been very happy traveling in that. The van had not been fully serviced and checked before we got it. Toilet cassette and grey water had not been emptied. On board water had also not been checked. I contracted salmonella while on the trip from the onboard water supply. It can only have come from the van water. This was good for post holiday weight loss but not great for the 27 hour flight home. When I complained about this through or travel agent, we got a $230.00 refund from a near $8000.00 fee, we had the van for 2 weeks (appx). We had been a little delayed due to flights being delayed which meant that the staff were late leaving for the day. When you are in a public facing job in the tourism industry your staff need to be a whole lot more accommodating. Not to impressed with the customer service and the refund. Will have to look at alternative rentals if we travel to the UK again.

We organised with our travel agent to book with Bunk Campers in late November 2024. I would have thought that this was sufficent time to get our requested van reserved. Not sure how much notice they believe they need. Even if we had requested a change to the van it surely wouldn't have made any difference. Just seems like a lot of excuses trying to explain away a some what negative review.

Robbery on damage fees
We damaged the right mirror while driving due to the storm. Only the mirror was damaged, but they charged also for the light, even if it worked perfectly. They also never sent to me the damage report, asked twice.
I don't recommand at all.

Numerous problems with the vehicle which could not be sorted due to the site being closed Saturday/Sunday, we gave up returned vehicle early and booked another holiday expecting a refund/ which hasn't happened due to apparently not following procedure. BE WARNED ANY ISSUES CHECK THE 40 ODD PAGES OF PAPERWORK TO CONFIRM WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAINTAIN THE CONTRACT. customer service was appalling and cannot speak to anyone everything is on email only . unfortunately will not deal with again wasted over £1200 on hire for a vehicle couldn't be used. A shame as first experience was very good.

Wir hatten im Juni 2025 das erste mal ein Camper von Bunk Camper gemietet. Das Personal freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Als wir am Campingplatz waren ist uns aufgefallen das die Heizung und das warme Wasser nicht geht. Sind am nächsten Morgen nochmal zu Bunk Campers gefahren und das Problem wurde sofort behoben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder einen Bunk Camper buchen.

We left our IPad in the motorhome and spoke to someone who PROMISED it would get returned to us. It never was and now I can’t even get anyone to return an email.

Hopeless would not recommend them to anyone please do not use this company to hire a van

Travelling with my wife and toddler. All used to caper / overland long (UK, Europe and Africa). Greeted by poorly organised, rude management with a bad attitude which lead to a delayed departure. Paid extra for a newer van which we got but it was basic spec and sparely equipped with no thought to storage - cutlery & crockery just dumped in a cupboard so very rattley. Advised that a late (1-2hrs) return would be OK as long as called ahead. On returning (1.75hrs late) met with an irate and rude manager (lady) with negligible customer service skills, and then charged £100 late fee only to see the van sitting untouched for the next hour as we checked in and arranged a taxi etc. Would definitely avoid this outfit for future trips. Much better options out there. Wish I’d read the reviews before booking!!!

Great services from staff , vans really well presented. Good quality vehicles, never had any problems. Used 3 times so far , would use again

Booked a small new campervan. Received a large old campervan.
Booked equipment, didn‘t received it. Discussed several times, then they said we can buy it and will get the money back. This never happend.

Great van, very clean and comfortable

The camper we wanted was not available on that day. Next day the guys from Bunk came to our camping and brought our desired camper and took the first one back. They even helped us move the stuff from one camper to the other. Great service.
