Bunk Campers - Dublin Omdömen 439

Trying to contact bunk campers for over 3 days. The phone line just says they can't accept my call. The email on the website does not exist as a notice for failure to deliver is generate by the 2 emails I used.
You then have asked me to reach out. Its impossible to get in touch with your company. This is 7th of April. Same thing on the phone, can't take your call. Hangs up. What sort of a swindle is this. Indie campers have no record of my booking . You have my details . Reach out to me .

On ne peut pas mettre zéro.
Camping car livré avec tuyau d'eau coupé, draps sales (poils et tâches), WC partiellement nettoyé, intérieur des tiroirs sales, pas le bon nombre de coussins pour faire un matelas.... la liste est longue
Bref, à fuir de toute urgence.
Voyage en cours pour nous avec juste l'envie de rentrer chez nous. Le stage de survie ce n'était pas dans le contrat.
Ce sera une plainte à la clé si aucune solution n'est trouvée avec ces escrocs.

We had to wait 3 hours for our van & the extras we ordered were not supplied including bedding! The van had many faults & we had to waste a day getting parts & having them fitted. They paid for the parts but didn't compensate us adequetly for the time spent.
Also I damaged the bike rack and in my opinion we were massively overcharged for that. I would never use them again.

Thank you for the opportunity. We had a good time in the camper van. What was a drawback was:
1. availability of gas bottles. We went to 16 different fuel stations and were left cold in the country for three days without gas.
2. Extreme lack of services in Ireland during this particular hire period. This was not conveyed to us prior to hire.
3. Lack of information about exactly when and where to pick up the van in Dublin. The location to collect the van is very tricky to find as the IMAP’s and Google maps puts the address in a business park across the other side of a main road.
4. Water tank was only set to receive 20 litres of water. We were not made aware of this. I only realised it when our water started to pump out of a bung hole and I had to research what was happening. I found that both bungs in the tank were open. I had no water for the last two days.
5. Crockery shouldn’t really be crockery it should be melamine or something similar to stop the rattling.
6. There was a TV fitting but no TV in the van.
7. This is a design fault but the ladder at the back for the top back bunk should be located to the side to allow for the entry and egress of the bottom bunk and the opening of the fridge.
8. The fridge seals were really dirty and smelly.
9. The plug for the kitchen sink did not fit. It had a metal spike in it which I needed to modify to allow it to fit.
10. The service from the Dublin branch was outstanding. Both men from there were so helpful and caring. Thank you to both of them.

A few minor things put a damper on the whole experience. There was an issue with the hot water system and it took a good 30hours to workout how to rectify it to then learn it it takes 30min to heat up and 1 shower to use it all (repeat x 4 for several days). To charge anything its best to be plugged into power so not great when trying to freedom camp. Getting rid of black water got harder and harder as the trip went (Galway counterclockwise back to Dublin). Supermarket parking doesnt generally cater for large or long vehicles. Need to purchase dishwasting soap, tea towels, scrubbers, toilet paper etc. We got a flat battery for no apparent reason but mechanic suspected it could have been because the fridge was on. Beds and front seats were super comfy and it was great to drive but would not do it again.

We had a great time travelling across Ireland in our little campervan. Everyone was very responsive and helpful. Just make sure Bunk Campers don't owe you any money when you leave or get ready to be patient and ask for it repeatedly. Something was missing in our van's inventory when we picked it up at the beginning of our trip. I notified it to the assistance department and they told us to buy it and keep the receipt so they could refund us at dropoff. It took a month and a half after dropoff and a lot of emails to get my 9€ back. A bit disappointing since everything else went fine.

Not Impressed.
It started with not being able to pick up the camper on the first day of booking. Our flight in to Dublin arrived around 4 pm, the booking site asked for flight details but didn't flag that we would be outside their hours and would not be able to pickup until the next day. We asked for a refund for the night and were told no as they had not done anything wrong. The next morning we arrived at the allocated time but the van was not ready and it was nearly 1 1/2 hours until it was. Overall the van did not look very clean and as we just wanted to getting I only asked that the black mould in the fridge be cleaned. Later when we used the bathroom we realised that it had not been cleaned , there was urine in the grooves of the door and both drains were clogged with hair. There was also something smeared on the window sill. The kitchen sink made the cloth black when we cleaned it. There was no plug for the sink. There was no spanner for changing the gas bottle. One of the curtains was hanging on by one corner. The kitchen package was the bare basic and the quality crap, everything stuck to the pan and linen was old, washed out and one of the towels had a rip in it as did one of the sheets. There was no tea towel. The lid on the cooktop would not stay up by itself. The grey water pump turned itself on and off at will even with the switch turned off. We did contact the office regarding the state of the camper and were asked to fill out a form and someone would contact us. No one did. We asked for an extra day at the end of the rental which was for 3 weeks and were told that all vans were booked out. We asked for a late drop off, were told we could so we asked that that in an email which never came. This was our first time hiring a camper and it will probably be our late.

We rented a camper for 6 days to go to Donegal. From the beginning the staff at Bunk Campers were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was our first time in a camper and we had absolutely no problems because of the helpful instructions we got when we picked it up. Our trip was so relaxing and one of the nicest things was to be able to swim at the beach and straight afterwards rinse off in the camper and have a cooked lunch! We had everything we needed to make the trip effortless. Thanks you so much.

Our first time renting a campervan was easier than expected. Great customer service at the Dublin center and the location was so convenient to the airport. QR codes provided quick answers to questions that came up along the way. We had an amazing week exploring Ireland and can’t wait to return!

The camper was really good and staff were very helpful only let down was camper was missing items we had payed for and we then had to go a purchase along our route

Long waiting time for the pick up of the van - around 2 hours. Otherwise very friendly service, no problems with the vehicle, smooth return.

Adesso che ho ricevuto la caparra di fine noleggio dopo circa due settimane posso recensire il mio servizio!
È andato tutto bene, mi sono affidata al sito di bunk Campers direttamente per il noleggio di un camper per due persone, in quanto le offerte erano più vantaggiose rispetto ad altri siti che offrivano lo stesso camper. Ho scelto il Mystery quindi non sapevo di preciso che tipo di camper avrei ricevuto, ma avevo deciso le caratteristiche che dovesse avere che sono state rispettate, come le posate e la biancheria per il letto. Ahimè per stare più tranquilla ho dovuto scegliere l'assicurazione aggiuntiva in modo tale che si abbassasse anche il deposito cauzionale ( restituito sulla carta di credito) ed avere più servizi. È stato bello soggiornare e fare questa esperienza nuova. Fondamentale il cambio automatico.
Alla consegna abbiamo visto col noleggiatore le parti che erano già danneggiate e ci ha spiegato sommariamente il funzionamento del camper. Consiglierei assolutamente.
Sicuramente d'estate in alta stagione c'è da aspettare più tempo perché le persone sono tante, ma a novembre c'eravamo solo noi abbiamo fatto tutto velocemente, considerando anche la chiarezza dei moduli inviati per mail che abbiamo già compilato da Casa.

We left our IPad in the motorhome and spoke to someone who PROMISED it would get returned to us. It never was and now I can’t even get anyone to return an email.

The camper we wanted was not available on that day. Next day the guys from Bunk came to our camping and brought our desired camper and took the first one back. They even helped us move the stuff from one camper to the other. Great service.

Friendly people , but too long waiting for a reserved camper

The Camper was not clean and the Camping Gas bottle was from the beginning empty.
The Camper Bad Not as booked one Bad in the Rear but a Bunk bed, so that there was To Little Space.
When picking up the Camper, we had To wait a very Long Time.
